CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 2025201261820, filed on January 17, 2025, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.TECHNICAL FIELD

[0002] The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of manicure tools, and in particular relates to an ultra-thin nail clipper.BACKGROUND

[0003] A nail clipper is a manicure tool specially designed for trimming nails, and miniaturization of the nail clipper allows for easy portability. An ultra-thin nail clipper disclosed in a Chinese utility model patent includes a fixed clipper body and a movable clipper body capable of clamping together and opening relative to each other, a torsion spring configured to push the movable clipper body to open, and a pressure plate, wherein the above movable clipper body is provided with an elongated groove, a front end of the pressure plate is sleeved within the elongated groove of the movable clipper body via a sleeve rod, such that the sleeve rod of the pressure plate is arranged to slide back and forth along the elongated groove, and the movable clipper body is provided with a clamping groove. When the nail clipper is used, the pressure plate may be rotated to open and is pushed to slide forwards, such that a lower side of the pressure plate abuts against the clamping groove on the movable clipper body, at this time, the pressure plate is pressed downwards to squeeze the movable clipper body, such that two jaws may be clamped with each other, while after the pressure plate is released, the torsion spring will automatically push the movable clipper body to rotate and open, then the two jaws may be clamped and separated easily through the pressure plate, and nails may be trimmed conveniently. When the nail slipper is not used, the pressure plate may be pulled to slide backwards, such that the lower side of the pressure plate is disengaged from the clamping groove of the movable clipper body, in this way, the pressure plate may be rotated and folded on the fixed clipper body, then the thickness of the nail clipper is the smallest, and the nail clipper has an ultra-thin structure, and is convenient for carrying and storage.

[0004] However, the above ultra-thin nail clipper still has shortcomings. Since the pressure plate slidably cooperates with an elongated groove of the movable clipper body via a sleeve rod, in a process of trimming nails, the sleeve rod easily slides backwards naturally along an elongated groove, and a lower side of the pressure plate is mistakenly disengaged from the clamping groove of the movable clipper body, then the pressure plate is unable to squeeze the movable clipper body to drive the two jaws to be clamped tightly, and trimming operation of nails is seriously influenced.SUMMARY

[0005] In view of the above deficiencies in the prior art, the object of the present disclosure is to provide an ultra-thin nail clipper with a stable structure, wherein the pressure plate of the nail clipper is capable of stably squeezing the movable clipper body, and trimming is more convenient.

[0006] In order to achieve the above object, the technical solution adopted by the present disclosure is as follows: an ultra-thin nail clipper includes a fixed clipper body and a movable clipper body, wherein the fixed clipper body and the movable clipper body intersect in an X shape, the fixed clipper body and the movable clipper body are pivotally connected via a pin shaft, and the movable clipper body is arranged to rotate relative to the fixed clipper body, such that the fixed clipper body and the movable clipper body may be clamped together or separated from each other; the ultra-thin nail clipper further includes a first elastic member configured to push the movable clipper body and the fixed clipper body to separate automatically, the fixed clipper body and the movable clipper body are each provided with a clamping blade on opposite sides of their front ends, and when the movable clipper body is rotated, the two clamping blades may be clamped together or separated from each other; the ultra-thin nail clipper further includes a pressure plate and a first slider, wherein the first slider is slidably arranged on an upper surface of the movable clipper body, the pressure plate is provided with an avoidance groove which cooperates with the first slider, the pressure plate is hinged to the movable clipper body, the pressure plate is arranged to rotate relative to an upper surface of the fixed clipper body to transfer to an open state or a folded state, when the pressure plate is in the folded state, the first slider is placed in the avoidance groove, and when the pressure plate is in the open state, the first slider is arranged to slide backwards to a position that abuts against a lower side of the pressure plate.

[0007] In the above solution, when the nail clipper is used, the pressure plate may be rotated upwards to open and the first slider is pushed to slide backwards, such that an upper side of the first slider abuts against the lower side of the pressure plate, then the nail clipper is open. When the nail clipper is in the open state, the user inserts a nail between two clamping blades, and then presses the pressure plate downwards, so as to squeeze the first slider to drive the movable clipper body to rotate, such that the two clamping blades are clamped with each other, and the nail may be cut off. After the pressure plate is released, the first elastic member will automatically push the two clamping blades to be separated from each other by means of its own elastic force, such that the movable clipper body and the pressure plate are automatically reset, and the trimming operation is convenient. Since the pressure plate is merely arranged to rotate relative to the movable clipper body and is unable to slide, the pressure plate is capable of stably squeezing the movable clipper body and driving the two clamping blades to be clamped with each other, the structure is stable, and the problem that the pressure plate is disengaged from the clamping groove when the existing pressure plate easily slides naturally is solved. When the nail clipper is not used, the first slider may be pushed to slide forwards, such that the upper side of the first slider is disengaged from the lower side of the pressure plate, at this time, when the pressure plate is not blocked by the first slider, the user is able to rotate the pressure plate downwards and fold the pressure plate on the fixed clipper body, such that the nail clipper is folded and is convenient for carrying and storage. When the nail clipper is in the folded state, at this time, the first slider is placed in the avoidance groove, the pressure plate blocks the first slider from sliding backwards naturally, and at the same time, the pressure plate presses a rear end of the movable clipper body, such that the two clamping blades are in a clamped state, at this time, the pressure plate is locked, so as to maintain the folded state, and prevent an influence on the folding of the nail clipper when the first elastic member automatically pushes the movable clipper body to rotate and separate.

[0008] Further, the above nail clipper further includes a second elastic member, the second elastic member is configured to push the first slider to slide backwards, and under a backward acting force provided by the second elastic member to the first slider, it may be further ensured that the first slider will not naturally slide forwards and will not be mistakenly disengaged from the lower side of the pressure plate, such that the upper side of the first slider abuts against the lower side of the pressure plate more stably, structural stability of the nail clipper in the open state is ensured, and the trimming operation is more convenient. In addition, when the pressure plate rotates upwards to the upper side position of the first slider, the second elastic member will automatically push the first slider to slide backwards and abut against the lower side of the pressure plate, such that the nail clipper may be opened more conveniently.

[0009] In order to realize the above structural function that the second elastic member is capable of pushing the first slider to slide backwards, an upper surface of the above movable clipper body is provided with a first spring groove, the lower surface of the first slider is provided with a first protruding post, the second elastic member is a first spring arranged in the first spring groove, two ends of the first spring respectively abut against a front side wall of the first spring groove and a front side wall of the first protruding post, such that in the absence of an external force, the first spring will push the first protruding post to drive the first slider to slide backwards by means of its own elastic force.

[0010] Further, the lower surface of the above first slider is provided with two opposite guide blocks, the upper surface of the movable clipper body is provided with two guide grooves, the two guide grooves correspond to positions of the two guide blocks, respectively, the two guide grooves are located on both sides of the first spring groove, respectively, and the two guide blocks respectively slidably cooperate with the guide grooves on the corresponding sides, such that the first slider is capable of stably sliding back and forth along the guide grooves of the movable clipper body through the guide blocks of the first slider.

[0011] Further, the above nail clipper further includes a locking mechanism, wherein the locking mechanism is configured to limit the pressure plate in the folded state, the locking mechanism includes a second slider and a clamping block, the second slider is slidably arranged on the upper surface of the fixed clipper body, the clamping block is arranged at a rear end of the pressure plate, a front end face of the second slider is provided with a clamping groove, and when the pressure plate is in the folded state, the second slider slides forwards, such that the clamping groove is interlocked with the clamping block, at this time, the pressure plate may not rotate upwards and open under the interlocking action between the clamping block and the clamping groove, such that the pressure plate may be locked in the folded state. When the second slider is driven to slide backwards, the clamping groove is disengaged from the clamping block, then the locking of the pressure plate may be released, and the pressure plate may be rotated upwards to open. In addition, when this solution is used, and when the second slider slides backwards until the clamping groove is disengaged from the clamping block, the first elastic member will automatically push the rear end of the movable clipper body to rotate upwards, thereby driving the pressure plate to rotate upwards at the same time. When the movable clamp body rotates to a designed maximum angle position, upward rotation will stop, but the pressure plate will continue to rotate upwards around its own rotational center due to an inertia effect, such that the pressure plate will automatically rotate to the upper side position of the first slider. At this time, the second elastic member will automatically push the first slider to slide backwards and abut against the lower side of the pressure plate, which is equivalent to only pushing the second slider to slide backwards until the clamping groove is disengaged from the clamping block, and the nail clipper will be automatically converted into the open state, and the opening operation is very convenient.

[0012] Further, the upper surface of the above fixed clipper body is provided with a second spring groove, the second spring groove is internally provided with a second spring, the lower surface of the second slider is provided with a second protruding post, and the two ends of the second spring respectively abut against the rear side wall of the second protruding post and the rear side wall of the second spring groove, such that in the absence of an external force, the second spring will push the second protruding post to drive the second slider to slide forwards by means of its own elastic force. Under a forward acting force provided by the second spring to the second slider, it can be ensured that the second slider will not slide backwards naturally and the clamping groove will not be mistakenly disengaged from the clamping block, so as to improve the locking stability of the pressure plate, and to ensure structural stability of the nail clipper in the folded state.

[0014] Further, a first push block is arranged on a front end of the upper surface of the above first slider, and the user conveniently pushes the first slider to slide forwards through the first push block; and a second push block is arranged on a rear end of the upper surface of the above second slider, and the user conveniently pushes the second slider to slide backwards through the second push block.

[0015] Further, the upper surface of the above fixed clipper body is provided with a positioning bump, a positioning groove is formed at a position corresponding to the positioning bump on the lower surface of the pressure plate, and when the pressure plate is in the folded state, the positioning bump cooperates with the positioning groove, such that the pressure plate does not easily swing from side to side in the folded state, and the structural stability of the pressure plate in the folded state is improved.

[0016] Further, the upper surface of the above movable clipper body is provided with a limiting bump, when the two clamping blades are in a separated state, a front side wall of the limiting bump abuts against the fixed clipper body, at this time, the limiting bump is capable of blocking the movable clipper body from rotating excessively towards a separation direction, so as to limit the movable clipper body in a separated state. A front end of the above pressure plate is provided with two opposite connecting rods, the two connecting rods are rotationally connected to a left side and a right side of the limiting bump through a rotating shaft, respectively, and the avoidance groove is formed by a gap between the two connecting rods.

[0017] The pressure plate of the nail clipper in the present disclosure is merely arranged to rotate relative to the movable clipper body and is unable to slide, such that the pressure plate is capable of stably squeezing the movable clipper body to drive the two clamping blades to be clamped with each other, and the problem that the existing pressure plate easily slides naturally and is mistakenly disengaged from the clamping groove is solved. Under a backward acting force provided by the first spring to the first slider, the stability of the first slider abutting against the pressure plate may be ensured, the structure is stable, and the trimming operation is more convenient. In addition, the clamping groove of the second slider is also capable of locking the pressure plate in the folded state, then the structural stability of the nail clipper in the folded state is ensured, and the nail clipper may be carried and stored more conveniently, and after the second slider is pushed to slide backwards until the clamping groove is disengaged from the clamping block, the nail clipper will be automatically converted to the open state, then the opening operation is very convenient.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
