Abstract
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a container, and more particularly to a cosmetic container for containing a cosmetic material, such as loose powder.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Referring to FIG. 1, a conventional cosmetic container mainly comprises a container body 1, a sifter 2 configured for covering a mouth of the container body 1, and a cap 3 configured for covering an outer side of the sifter 2. Referring to FIG. 2, the sifter 2 has a lower sifter part 4 and an upper sifter part 5 that can be turned relative to the upper sifter part 4. The lower sifter part 4 is perforated with a plurality of perforations 6. The upper sifter part 5 has a plurality of protrusions 7 corresponding to the perforations 6. A cosmetic material is filled in the container body 1. When in use, the user opens the upper sifter part 5 relative to the lower sifter part 4 to expose the perforations 6, shakes the container body 1 to control the desired amount of the cosmetic material to pass through the perforations 6, and uses a powder puff to apply the cosmetic material. When not in use, the upper sifter part 5 is closed relative to the lower sifter part 4 so that the cosmetic material can be sealed in the container body 1 by means of the protrusions 7 that are inserted into the perforations 6.
[0003] However, for the conventional cosmetic container, it is required for the protrusions 7 to be accurately aligned with the perforations 6, so the production is very difficult. In order to allow the protrusion 7 to pass through the perforation 6 smoothly, the perforation 6 is slightly larger in dimension than the protrusion 7, and a clearance is formed between the protrusion 7 and the perforation 6, resulting in the possibility that the cosmetic material may leak out via the clearance. Especially, after the conventional cosmetic container has been used for a period of time, the clearance will widen, making the leakage more serious. Besides, when the user opens and closes the upper sifter part 5 relative to the lower sifter part 4, the entire sifter 2 is easily pulled out from the container body 1, causing the cosmetic material to spill out.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic container, which is capable of sealing a cosmetic material in a container body of the cosmetic container, so as to ensure that the cosmetic material will not leak out.
[0005] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a cosmetic container, comprising a container body, a sifter and a sealing cap. The container body has a storage space therein and a lip around a mouth of the storage space. The sifter is detachably disposed on the mouth. The sifter has a first sifter body and a second sifter body. A connecting portion is connected between the first sifter body and the second sifter body, allowing the second sifter body to flip relative to the first sifter body. One side of the first sifter body, facing the second sifter body, has a recess. A first flat surface is formed on a bottom of the recess. A first annular surface is formed on a peripheral side of the recess. The first flat surface and the first annular surface are located at different levels and have a height difference. The first flat surface is perforated with a plurality of perforations. One side of the second sifter body, facing the first sifter body, has a protrusion corresponding to the recess. A second flat surface is formed on an end face of the protrusion. A second annular surface is formed on a peripheral side of the protrusion. The second flat surface and the second annular surface are located at different levels and have a height difference. The sealing cap is detachably disposed on the container body and configured for covering an outer side of the sifter. An inner side of the sealing cap has a pressing portion.
[0006] When the second sifter body is closed relative to the first sifter body, the protrusion is inserted into the recess and the second flat surface is pressed against the first flat surface, thereby forming a first sealing configuration; the second annular surface is pressed against the first annular surface, thereby forming a second sealing configuration. In this way, the double sealing configuration ensures that a cosmetical material is sealed in the storage space, so as to ensure that the cosmetical material will not leak out.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0017] Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0018] As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, the present invention discloses a cosmetic container 100. The cosmetic container 100 comprises a container body 10. The container body 10 has a container bottom wall 11, a container annular wall 12 around the container bottom wall 11, and a storage space 13 defined between the container bottom wall 11 and the container annular wall 12. The container annular wall 12 has a mouth 131 communicating with the storage space 13 and a lip 14 around the mouth 131. The cosmetic container 100 has a sifter 20. The sifter 20 is detachably disposed on the mouth 131. The sifter 20 has a first sifter body 21 and a second sifter body 22. The first sifter body 21 has a first bottom wall 211, a first annular wall 212 around the first bottom wall 211, and a first compartment 213 defined between the first bottom wall 211 and the first annular wall 212. The peripheral side of the first annular wall 212 has a first flange 214 extending laterally and corresponding to the lip 14. The second sifter body 22 is detachably disposed in the first compartment 213. The second sifter body 22 has a second bottom wall 221 corresponding to the first bottom wall 211, a second annular wall 222 that is around the second bottom wall 221 and corresponds to the first annular wall 212, and a second compartment 223 defined between the second bottom wall 221 and the second annular wall 222. The peripheral side of the second annular wall 222 has a second flange 224 corresponding to the first flange 214. The cosmetic container 100 further has a sealing cap 30. The sealing cap 30 is detachably disposed on the container body 10 and configured for covering the outer side of the sifter 20. In this embodiment, the sealing cap 30 is coupled to the container body 10 in a threaded locking manner. The inner side of the sealing cap 30 has a pressing portion 31 corresponding to the second flange 224. When the sealing cap 30 is coupled to the container body 10, the pressing portion 31 is pressed against the second flange 224, so that the second flange 224 pushes the first flange 214 against the lip 14 of the container body 10.
[0019] Please refer to FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 again. A connecting portion 23 is connected between the first sifter body 21 and the second sifter body 22, allowing the second sifter body 22 to flip relative to the first sifter body 21 and to be selectively positioned over the first sifter body 21. One side of the first bottom wall 211, facing the second sifter body 22, has a recess 215. A first flat surface 2111 is formed on the bottom of the recess 215, and a first annular surface 2112 is formed on the peripheral side of the recess 215. The first flat surface 2111 and the first annular surface 2112 are located at different levels and have a height difference. The first flat surface 2111 is perforated with a plurality of perforations 216. One side of the second bottom wall 221, facing the first sifter body 21, has a protrusion 225 corresponding to the recess 215. A second flat surface 2211 is formed on the end face of the protrusion 225, and a second annular surface 2212 is formed on the peripheral side of the protrusion 225. The second flat surface 2211 and the second annular surface 2212 are located at different levels and have a height difference. The location and number of the recess 215 and the protrusion 225 may be varied. This embodiment is only a preferred embodiment and does not limit the scope of the present invention.
[0020] Referring to FIG. 7, in use, first, a cosmetic material 200, such as loose powder, is filled into the storage space 13 of the container body 10. After that, the first sifter body 21 is inserted in the mouth 131 of the container body 10, and the second sifter body 22 is closed so that the second sifter body 22 is accommodated in the first compartment 213. Finally, a powder puff 300 is placed in the second compartment 223 of the second sifter body 22 and the sealing cap 30 is closed, so as to complete the filling of the cosmetic material 200. When the second sifter body 22 is in the first compartment 213, the protrusion 225 is inserted into the recess 215 and the second flat surface 2211 is pressed against the first flat surface 2111, thereby forming a first sealing configuration; the second bottom wall 221 is pressed against the first bottom wall 211 and the second annular surface 2212 is pressed against the first annular surface 2112, thereby forming a second sealing configuration. In this way, a double sealing configuration is formed. Even if the cosmetic material 200 enters the first sealing configuration, it will be confined in the first sealing configuration due to the height difference between the first sealing configuration and the second sealing configuration and will not enter the second sealing configuration. Thus, the cosmetic material 200 can be surely sealed in the storage space 13, so as to ensure that the cosmetic material 200 will not leak out. When the sealing cap 30 is coupled to the container body 10, the pressing portion 31 is pressed against the second flange 224, so that the second flange 224 pushes the first flange 214 to be pressed against the lip 14 of the container body 10, which can pressurize the sifter 20, such that the second sifter body 22 is more tightly combined with the first sifter body 21 to enhance the sealing effect of the first sealing configuration and the second sealing configuration.
[0021] Referring to FIG. 8, when the user wants to use the cosmetic material 200 for makeup application, the user simply opens the sealing cap 30 and takes out the powder puff 300, and then moves the second sifter body 22 out of the first compartment 213 to expose the perforations 216. After shaking the container body 10, the desired amount of the cosmetic material 200 passes through the perforations 216 into the first compartment 213 of the first sifter body 21, allowing the powder puff 300 to be used to adhere to the cosmetic material 200 for makeup application. If the depth of the recess 215 is too deep, it will be difficult for the powder puff 300 to adhere to the cosmetic material 200. Therefore, the depth of the recess 215 is preferably between 1 and 5 mm. Since the second sifter body 22 is connected to the first sifter body 21 through the connecting portion 23, there is no need for the user to find an additional space for placing the second sifter body 22 during use. This not only achieves the effect of preventing the loss of the second sifter body 22 but also prevent the second sifter body 22 from being contaminated by foreign matter when placed in the additional space.
[0022] Referring to FIG. 9 and FIG. 10, in conjunction with FIG. 6, the outer side of the first annular wall 212 is provided with a plurality of spaced tightening blocks 217, and an air discharge passage 2171 is formed between every adjacent two of the tightening blocks 217. In this way, when the sifter 20 is inserted in the mouth 131 of the container body 10, the tightening blocks 217 are configured to press against the inner side of the container annular wall 12, thereby enhancing the effect of securing the sifter 20 to the container body 10. Besides, in the process of inserting the sifter 20, the air in the storage space 13 discharges from the storage space 13 via the air discharge passages 2171, so that the user can easily insert and secure the sifter 20 to the mouth 131.
[0023] Referring to FIG. 9 and FIG. 10, in conjunction with FIG. 6, an extension wall 218 extends from the periphery of the first flange 214 and is parallel to the first annular wall 212. An engaging groove 2181 is formed between the first annular wall 212 and the extension wall 218. One side of the extension wall 218, corresponding to the engaging groove 2181, has a protruding ring 2182. The outer side of the lip 14 of the container body 10 has an annular groove 141 corresponding to the protruding ring 2182. When the sifter 20 is inserted in the mouth 131 of the container body 10, the lip 14 is inserted and engaged in the engaging groove 2181, and the protruding ring 2182 is engaged in the annular groove 141. In this way, the sifter 20 is tightly secured to the container body 10, so that the sifter 20 will not fall off from the container body 10. When the user opens or closes the second sifter body 22, the sifter 20 will not be pulled out of the container body 10.
[0024] Referring to FIG. 10, in conjunction with FIG. 6, the inner side of the first annular wall 212 has a positioning groove 219. The outer side of the second annular wall 222 has a positioning block 226 corresponding to the positioning groove 219. The second sifter body 22 further has a pull piece 227. When the second sifter body 22 is closed relative to the first sifter body 21, the positioning block 226 will be positioned in the positioning groove 219 to achieve a fastening effect and prevent the second sifter body 22 from being opened unexpectedly. The pull piece 227 is configured for a user to pull the second sifter body 22 out of the first compartment 213.
[0025] Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
