[0023] In some examples, users can install an extension storage structure on a mobile workstation, such as a production cart, to enhance its functional diversity. This extension storage structure can be connected to the production cart column via a pipe clamp and can include a replaceable extension platform, for example, a tabletop. Given its replaceability, the tabletop can be placed within an installation space on the storage structure. However, this configuration results in relatively low installation stability of the extension platform during use, potentially causing abnormal noise when the mobile workstation is in motion or detachment when the extension storage structure is stowed.
[0024] The present disclosure introduces a storage structure 10, as depicted in FIGS. 1-5, including a storage body 1, an extension platform 2, and a latching assembly 3. The storage body 1 features an installation space 11 designed to accommodate the extension platform 2. The latching assembly 3 can be movably positioned on either the extension platform 2 or the storage body 1, enabling it to move relative to either component to lock the extension platform 2 and the storage body 1 together.
[0025] Configured in this manner, when installing a storage platform 13, the user can manipulate the latching assembly 3 to lock the storage body 1 and the extension platform 2, securely positioning the extension platform 2 within the installation space 11 and improving the stability of the extension platform 2 during installation. This reduces the risk of abnormal noise or detachment of the storage platform 13 during mobile workstation use. When not needed, the latching assembly 3 can be reset to its original position (e.g., unlocked position), unlocking the extension platform 2 and the installation space 11 and allowing for the removal from the installation space 11.
[0026] In some aspects, referring to FIGS. 3-4, the extension platform 2 can include an extension table 21 (e.g., Iron Grill Table). The latching assembly 3 is movably connected to the bottom of the extension table 21, facilitating easy placement and storage in outdoor or work settings. In some aspects, the latching assembly 3 can be incorporated on the extension table 21, which, after installation, can be moved to lock onto the storage body 1, securing the extension table 21 and the storage body 1 together for user convenience. When disassembly is required, the latching assembly 3 can be reset to its original position, releasing the lock on the storage body 1 and allowing for the removal of the extension table 21 from the installation space 11.
[0027] In some aspects, the storage structure 10 can include at least one latching assembly 3, with the possibility of multiple assemblies. One portion of the latching assembly 3 has one end movably connected to one side of the extension table 21, with the other end capable of moving relative to the extension table 21 to lock onto the storage body 1. Another portion of the latching assembly 3 has one end movably connected to the other side of the extension table 21, with the other end capable of moving relative to the extension table 21 to lock onto the storage body 1. This configuration ensures that both sides of the extension table 21 are locked within the installation space 11, enhancing the installation stability of the extension table 21. In some aspects, the storage structure 10 can have multiple extension tables 21 and multiple latching assemblies 3. Each extension table 21 can include a first end 211 facing an adjacent extension table 21, and a second end 212 and a third end 213 located on respective sides of the first end 211. The multiple latching assemblies3 are respectively disposed at the second end 212 and the third end 213. In some aspects, the installation space 11 can accommodate multiple extension tables 21. Taking two extension tables 21 as an example, the ends facing each other are the first ends 211, which can fit together to form a larger platform. On both sides (e.g., opposite ends) of the first end 211 are the second end 212 and third end 213 of the extension table 21, which contact the storage body 1. The latching assembly 3 can be positioned here, for example on the storage body 1 to lock the extension table 21, or on the extension table 21 to lock the storage body 1. Using the example of a latching assembly 3 being set on the extension table 21, during installation, the user can rotate the latching assembly 3 towards the center of the extension table 21, then place the extension table 21 into the installation space 11. Next, rotate the latching assemblies 3 at the second end 212 and third end 213 of the extension table 21 so that they rotate relative to the extension table 21 to lock onto the storage body 1. In some aspects, the side of the storage body 1 facing the installation space 11 can include a supporting edge 12. The extension platform 2 rests on the upper side of the supporting edge 12, and a latching member 32 can lock onto the lower side of the supporting edge 12. This configuration allows the supporting edge 12 to support the extension board, and after locking, the extension board is securely clamped on the supporting edge 12 of the storage body 1. In some aspects, the side of the storage body 1 facing the installation space 11 and near the second end 212 and third end 213 of the extension table 21 is equipped with supporting edges 12. This design ensures that both sides of the extension table 21 rest on the upper side of the supporting edges 12, and the latching assemblies 3 on both sides of the extension table 21 can lock onto the lower side of the supporting edges 12.
[0028] In some aspects, the latching assembly 3 can include a connector 31 and a latching member 32. The connector 31 is connected to the end of the extension platform 2, while the latching member 32 is movably connected to the connector 31 and can move relative to it to lock onto the storage body 1. Referring to FIG. 4, the connector 31 can include a connecting screw, to which the latching member 32 is movably connected. When the latching assembly 3 is not in use, the latching member 32 can be rotated towards the center of the extension table 21 for stowage. This configuration is compatible with installation spaces 11 featuring standard interfaces that cannot be conveniently lockable for certain storage body 1 specifications. Two washers 34 are sleeved on the connecting screw (connector 31), positioned on opposite sides (e.g., the upper and lower sides) of the latching member 32, respectively, to separate the head of the connecting screw and the latching member 32, as well as to separate the latching member 32 and the extension table 21, and to provide damping force for the rotation of the latching member 32. In some aspects, the side of the extension table 21 facing the latching member 32 is further equipped with a stopper 22. The stopper 22 is bent away from the extension table 21 and, when the latching member 32 is in the locked state, is positioned on one side of the latching member 32 to limit its position.
[0029] In some aspects, both sides of the latching member 32 feature operation parts 33 inclined away from the supporting edge 12, facilitating user operation and reducing the risk of hand injury during operation. In another aspect, the latching member 32 can include a bent part 321 and a latching part 322. One end of the bent part 321 is connected to the connecting screw, while the other end is connected to the latching part 322. The design of the bent part 321 provides space for locking operation.
[0030] In some aspects, referring to FIGS. 1-2 and FIG. 5. The storage body 1 can include a storage platform 13, a first support member 14, and a second support member 15. One end of the first support member 14 is movably connected to the storage platform 13, while the other end is movably connected to the second support member 15. A mounting member 141 is arranged on the side of the first support member 14 that faces away from the second support member 15. A locking assembly 16 is positioned at the end of the second support member 15 that is distant from the first support member 14. The locking assembly 16 can be slidably mounted on the storage platform 13. The mounting member 141 may be a clamping device, such as a pipe clamp, the structure of which may be as shown in the drawings.
[0031] With this configuration, after unlocking the locking assembly 16, the storage platform 13 can be folded and stowed, enhancing the flexibility of use. In another aspect, since the extension table 21 is locked onto the storage platform 13, it will not fall off when the storage platform 13 is stowed. The user does not need to disassemble the extension table 21 and can open and use it directly during subsequent uses.
[0032] In some aspects, the bottom of the storage platform 13 features a sliding groove 131. The locking assembly 16 can include a sliding block 161, a locking operation part 162, and a locking block 163. The locking operation part 162 is threadedly connected to the locking block 163. The locking block 163 is mounted on the sliding block 161, and the sliding block 161 is slidably installed within the sliding groove 131. Operating the locking operation part 162 causes the locking block 163 to move closer to the sliding block 161, thereby pressing against the wall of the sliding groove 131. In some aspects, the locking operation part 162 can include a locking lever 1621 and a connecting post 1622. The locking lever 1621 is connected to the connecting post 1622, and the connecting post 1622 is threadedly connected to the locking block 163. In this configuration, when the locking lever 1621 is rotated, the locking block 163 and the connecting post 1622 rotate relative to each other, causing the locking block 163 to be pressed tightly within the sliding groove 131.
[0033] In some aspects, the locking assembly 16 can further include an anti-detachment member 17. The anti-detachment member 17 is elastically connected to the sliding block 161 via a spring 18 and has a first inclined surface 171. The locking lever 1621 has a second inclined surface 16211. At least one anti-detachment hole 19 is provided in the sliding groove 131. When the locking lever 1621 is rotated to the locked state, the second inclined surface 16211 moves away from the first inclined surface 171, and the anti-detachment member 17, under the action of the spring 18, can protrude from the sliding block 161 and be inserted into the anti-detachment hole 19. When the user needs to adjust the extension table 21, for example, to fold and stow it, the locking lever 1621 can be rotated to the unlocked state. In some aspects, the second inclined surface 16211 can press against the first inclined surface 171, thereby pressing the anti-detachment member 17 down relative to the sliding block 161, causing the anti-detachment member 17 to disengage from the anti-detachment hole 19. This allows the user to slide the sliding block 161 along the sliding groove 131 with ease.
[0034] The foregoing descriptions represent merely exemplary embodiments of the present application and do not limit the patent scope of the present application. All equivalent structural transformations made based on the concept of the present application, utilizing the description and drawings of this application, or direct / indirect applications in other related technical fields, shall fall within the patent protection scope of this application.
