Stomach sleeper bed

Abstract

A stomach sleeper bed that provides back support for people who sleep on their stomach. The stomach sleeper bed includes a mattress and a plurality of legs. The first end and the second end of the mattress tilt up and down and is adapted to provide relief from pressure on a person's stomach that is lying on the mattress. The mattress contains an inflatable chamber that is disposed within an interior volume of the mattress. The inflatable chamber is disposed within the mattress that corresponds to a person's pelvic area that lifts and inflates the person's hips and lower back when the person lies on the stomach sleeper bed.

[0002] The present invention is a sleeper bed. More specifically, the present invention relates to a stomach sleeper bed.

[0003] One object of the present invention is to provide a stomach sleeper bed that provides back support for people who sleep on their stomach.

[0004] One object of the present invention is to provide a stomach sleeper bed that facilitates people that are negatively impacted by sleeping on their stomach.

[0005] One object of the present invention is to provide a stomach sleeper bed that addresses compression on a person's spine and lower back that sleeps on their stomach.

[0006] One object of the present invention is to provide a stomach sleeper bed that realigns a person's spinal cord that sleeps on their stomach.

[0012] The stomach sleeper bed 100 may include a mattress 110 and a plurality of legs 120.

[0013] The mattress 110 may include a base portion 112 with a first end portion 112A, a second end portion 112B, and an interior volume 112C. The first end 112A and the second end 110B may tilt up and down and is adapted to provide relief from pressure on a person's stomach that is lying on the mattress 110.

[0014] The mattress 110 may contain an inflatable chamber 114 that may be disposed within an interior volume 110C of the mattress 110. The inflatable chamber 114 may be disposed within the mattress 110 that corresponds to a person's pelvic area that lifts and inflates the person's hips and lower back. The inflatable chamber 114 may have an elongated cylindrical shape 114A or the like and extend across the width of the base portion 112.

[0015] The legs 120 may include 4 legs 120 disposed on each corner of the base portion 112 and extend downward onto a surface such as a floor or the like. The legs 120 may be elongated with a square-cross-section, a circular cross-section, or the like.

It is recognized, however, that departures may be made within the scope of the invention and that obvious modifications will occur to a person skilled in the art. Claims

1) A stomach sleeper bed, comprising:a mattress including a base portion having a first end portion, a second end portion, and an interior volume;wherein the first end portion and the second end portion are selectively tiltable relative to the base portion to reduce pressure on a stomach of a user lying on the mattress;an inflatable chamber disposed within the interior volume of the mattress;the inflatable chamber being positioned to correspond with a pelvic area of the user and configured to lift hips and a lower back of the user;wherein the inflatable chamber extends across a width of the base portion; anda plurality of legs coupled to the base portion and extending downward to support the mattress on a surface.
