Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to systems and methods herein for wearable resistance training.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Using a weighted training vest (i.e., exercise vest) can be beneficial for strength gains during resistance training. However, the exercise vest can be costly. The weights (or plates) for the exercise vest have a price of $60 per pair to >$140 per pair. The exercise vests also do not allow for the amount of weight to be changed. Most gyms have Olympic style weights on hand for all gym members to use. The small plates do not stay still while running, jumping, or any movement, while used inside the exercise vest. Other athletes have brought up the concern of not working up to a heavy weight, while using exercise vests.

[0003] What is needed is a technical solution to address the aforementioned deficiencies of an exercise vest, wherein the technical solution is a device of the systems and methods herein.BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The systems and methods herein are directed to a device configured to be used or attached to an exercise vest, by filling the extra space around the weight, while holding the weight still. Additionally, the device of the systems and methods herein provides the capability to work out with multiple variations of weights, while utilizing equipment at any local gym.

[0005] In a variant, a device comprises: a plate operatively connected to a boss, wherein the boss is configured to connect to a void inside an exercise vest; a first wall operatively connected to the plate; and a second wall operatively connected to the plate.
