A computer-implemented system for managing educational processes, comprising: one or more processors; one or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to: provide a first user interface accessible by a student user, the first user interface comprising access to a plurality of functional modules for managing aspects of the student user's education; provide a second user interface accessible by an administrative user, the second user interface comprising administrative access to the plurality of functional modules; receive, through the first user interface, financial aid application information from the student user; transmit the financial aid application information to a governmental entity via an application programming interface; receive, from the governmental entity via the application programming interface, financial aid eligibility information responsive to the financial aid application information; automatically populate a profile associated with the student user with at least a portion of the financial aid eligibility information; receive, through the first user interface, admissions application information from the student user; store, in electronic form, a plurality of documents associated with the student user; receive attendance information indicating presence of the student user at an educational institution; automatically determine, based at least in part on the attendance information and completion status of enrollment documents, whether to schedule a disbursement of financial aid funds; upon determining to schedule the disbursement, transmit disbursement scheduling information to the governmental entity via the application programming interface; receive financial transaction information indicating receipt of disbursement funds from the governmental entity; automatically post the disbursement funds as a credit to a financial account associated with the student user; receive academic performance information for the student user; automatically calculate at least one academic progress metric based on the academic performance information; monitor completion status of one or more tasks associated with the student user; and automatically assign at least one additional task based on the completion status of the one or more tasks.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the instructions further cause the system to provide the first user interface via a mobile application executing on a mobile computing device.

The system of claim 1, wherein the attendance information comprises location information from a mobile computing device associated with the student user, and wherein the instructions further cause the system to verify, using the location information, that the mobile computing device is within a defined geographic boundary associated with the educational institution.

The system of claim 1, wherein the instructions further cause the system to: receive, from a mobile computing device associated with the student user, image data representing a photograph of a document; and store the image data as one of the plurality of documents associated with the student user.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the financial aid application information comprises Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) information, and wherein the governmental entity comprises the U.S. Department of Education.

6. The system of claim 5, wherein the financial aid eligibility information comprises an Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR).

The system of claim 1, wherein the instructions further cause the system to: automatically identify, based on the financial aid eligibility information, that the student user has been selected for verification; automatically generate a verification checklist identifying one or more required verification documents; and automatically assign one or more tasks to the student user to provide the one or more required verification documents.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the instructions further cause the system to: automatically perform a cash reconciliation process comprising matching disbursement records from the governmental entity with bank deposit records.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one academic progress metric comprises a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) calculation that considers grade information, attendance progression, and at least one of leaves of absence, holidays, breaks, or emergency closures.

10. The system of claim 1, wherein the instructions further cause the system to: provide, through the first user interface, a messaging interface enabling communication between the student user and the administrative user.

The system of claim 1, wherein the instructions further cause the system to: receive, through the first user interface, electronic completion of at least one document from the student user; automatically route the at least one document to a parent user for electronic approval; and automatically route the at least one document to the administrative user for administrative processing after receiving the electronic approval from the parent user.

A computer-implemented method for automated educational workflow management, comprising: receiving, by a computing system, initial information from a student user; automatically assigning, by the computing system, a first task to the student user to complete a financial aid application; upon completion of the first task, transmitting, by the computing system, financial aid application data to a governmental entity via an application programming interface; receiving, by the computing system from the governmental entity via the application programming interface, financial aid eligibility data; automatically assigning, by the computing system based on receipt of the financial aid eligibility data, a second task to the student user to complete an admissions application; upon completion of the second task, automatically generating, by the computing system, an acceptance notification; automatically assigning, by the computing system based on generation of the acceptance notification, a third task to the student user to complete enrollment documentation; upon completion of the third task and receipt of attendance information indicating presence of the student user at an educational institution, automatically scheduling, by the computing system, a disbursement of financial aid funds with the governmental entity; and receiving, by the computing system, the disbursement of financial aid funds from the governmental entity.

The method of claim 12, further comprising: monitoring, by the computing system, completion of the first task, the second task, and the third task; and sending, by the computing system, at least one reminder to the student user when at least one of the first task, the second task, or the third task remains incomplete past a scheduled reminder time.

The method of claim 12, further comprising: automatically determining, by the computing system based on the financial aid eligibility data, that the student user has been selected for verification by the governmental entity; and automatically assigning, by the computing system responsive to the determination, one or more verification tasks to the student user.

The method of claim 12, wherein receiving the attendance information comprises: receiving, by the computing system from a mobile computing device associated with the student user, a check-in request; andverifying, by the computing system using location services of the mobile computing device, that the mobile computing device is within a geographic boundary associated with the educational institution.

A computer-implemented system for integrated financial aid and educational management, comprising: one or more processors; one or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to: provide a simplified financial aid application interface for completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); transmit FAFSA data to the U.S. Department of Education via an application programming interface; receive an Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) from the U.S. Department of Education via the application programming interface; automatically populate a student profile with financial aid eligibility information from the ISIR; receive attendance information from a mobile computing device, the attendance information determined based on location services of the mobile computing device;automatically determine, based on the attendance information and completion of enrollment documents, eligibility to receive Title IV financial aid disbursement;automatically schedule the Title IV financial aid disbursement with a Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) system of the U.S. Department of Education; andautomatically post disbursement funds to a student financial account upon receiving confirmation of the disbursement from the COD system.

17. The system of claim 16, wherein the instructions further cause the system to: automatically perform cash reconciliation by matching disbursement records from the COD system with bank deposit records and student ledger entries.

The system of claim 16, wherein the instructions further cause the system to: provide an electronic document management system storing a plurality of documents associated with a student; receive, via a mobile application, image data representing photographs of physical documents captured by the mobile computing device; and store the image data as electronic documents associated with the student.

The system of claim 16, wherein the instructions further cause the system to:automatically calculate a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) metric based on grade information, attendance information, and institutional program requirements; and generate an alert when the SAP metric indicates the student is not meeting academic progress requirements.

The system of claim 16, wherein the instructions further cause the system to: provide role-based access to system functionality, comprising providing a first interface to a student user with student-level access, providing a second interface to a parent user with parent-level access, and providing a third interface to an administrative user with administrative-level access, wherein each interface presents functionality appropriate to its associated access level.
