Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0001] Exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to a translational-rotational arrangement for a piece of furniture, a household appliance or a group of pieces of furniture, household appliances of a modular interior design system for rooms, and to a furniture or household appliance element.
[0002] Generic furniture or household appliance elements or translational-rotational arrangements for furniture or household appliances are used for simplified access to hard-to-reach areas in a storage space of the furniture or household appliance element or also for the variable arrangement of furniture or household appliances in a group of such furniture and / or household appliances of a modular interior design system for rooms or for the variable positioning of the group as a whole in a room.
[0003] The simultaneous translational and rotational movement of the furniture or household appliance element or such a translational-rotational arrangement is achieved by arranging a translational-rotational fitting between a first body of the furniture and a second body of the furniture that can be moved relative to it. Alternatively, the relative movement can also take place between a movable body of the furniture and the ceiling and / or floor of the room.
[0004] In a translational-rotational arrangement, the translational-rotational movement is achieved, for example, by guide cam tracks in bearing areas of a base and a support element arranged thereon, with the group of furniture and / or household appliances being placed on the support element.
[0005] Such a generic translational-rotational arrangement is known, for example, from WO 2021 / 001395 A1 or WO 2020 / 212373 A1.
[0006] The problem with such components that can be moved relative to each other is the supply of electrical energy to electrical devices that are housed in the translationally and rotationally moving support element or second body.
[0007] Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are directed to develop a translational-rotational arrangement for a piece of furniture or household appliance or a group of pieces of furniture and / or household appliances of a modular interior design system for rooms as well as a furniture or household appliance element in such a way that these can be equipped in a simple manner with a power supply in the translationally and rotationally moving support element or second body.
[0008] The translational-rotational arrangement according to the invention for a piece of furniture, household appliance or a group of pieces of furniture and / or household appliances of a modular interior furnishing system for rooms has a base and a support element with plane bearing areas facing one another.
[0009] The support element is mounted so that it can be moved at least partially in translation and rotation relative to the base.
[0010] Guide cam tracks are arranged in one of the bearing areas and guide elements guided in or on the contours of the guide cam tracks are arranged in the other of the bearing areas, so that the support element can be rotated relative to the base, at least partially positively guided, in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation and can be moved in a predetermined direction of translation.
[0011] The guide cam tracks are shaped in such a way that when torque is applied to the support element, the support element can be moved from an initial position via an intermediate position, in which the support element is rotated relative to the base in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation and displaced in the direction of translation, by further rotation in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation and displacement against the direction of translation into an end position congruent with the initial position.
[0012] A guide groove extending in the direction of translation is arranged in the base. A guide element projecting into the guide groove is arranged on the bearing area of the support element. Alternatively, the guide groove can also be arranged in the bearing area of the support element and the guide element in the base.
[0013] The guide element is designed as a rotary feedthrough.
[0014] A first power connection element is attached to a side of the base facing away from the bearing area of the base and a second power connection element is attached to a side of the support element facing away from the bearing area of the support element.
[0015] The power connection elements are connected to each other via a power cable fed through the rotary feedthrough.
[0016] The furniture or household appliance element according to the invention has a first body and a second body which can be moved relative to the first body.
[0017] Furthermore, the furniture or household appliance element has a translational-rotational fitting with which the second body can be moved relative to the first body in a predetermined direction of translation and at least partially simultaneously in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation.
[0018] The translational-rotational fitting has a first fitting plate coupled to the first body and a second fitting plate coupled to the second body, which can be moved at least partially simultaneously in translation and rotation relative to the first fitting plate.
[0019] In an overlapping area of a base or cover plate of the first body with the second body in a closed position of the second body, a recess is provided in the base or cover plate of the first body, through which a power cable is passed, which is connected at a first end to a power connection element, which is attached to a side of the second body facing the base or cover plate of the first body. The recess can also take the form of a hole.
[0020] Both with the translational-rotational arrangement and with the furniture or household appliance element, the arrangement described above ensures a simple power supply to electrical loads that are positioned or set down in the translationally and rotationally movable second body or on or in the support element.
[0021] In addition to a conventional first body used as a support body with a base plate, cover plate and at least one side wall, the second body, which is at least partially mounted for simultaneous translational and rotational movement, can only be fixed directly to a room wall via a base plate and a cover plate, which form the first body.
[0022] According to an advantageous embodiment of the arrangement according to the invention, the first power connection element is attached to the base at the side of the guide groove and, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the guide groove, approximately centrally offset in parallel.
[0023] This positioning of the first power connection element enables a possible small variance in the distance between the first power connection element and the translationally moving guide sleeve.
[0024] According to an advantageous embodiment of the furniture or household appliance element according to the invention, the recess has a through opening, a groove-shaped cable duct open towards the second body and a flat recess adjoining the cable duct and open towards the second body.
[0025] According to an alternative embodiment of the furniture or household appliance element according to the invention, the recess is designed as a guide groove guiding the power cable.
[0026] According to a further alternative embodiment of the furniture or household appliance element according to the invention, the recess is designed as a hole.
[0027] All variants ensure that the power cable can move with the translational-rotational movement of the second body without jamming in the area of the recess.
[0028] According to a further advantageous embodiment of the arrangement or the furniture or household appliance element, at least one of the power connection elements has a winding mechanism with a cable storage area onto which a section of the power cable can be wound or unwound during the translational-rotational movement of the second body or the support element.
[0029] Such a winding mechanism also prevents the power cable from becoming jammed or knotted during the movement of the second body or the support element.
[0030] According to an alternative embodiment, the power cable is designed, at least in sections, as a spiral cable or as a cable loop and thus enables, in particular, the linear expansion of the power cable required by the translational movement.
[0031] According to a further advantageous design variant, the power cable is guided at least in sections in an energy chain.
[0032] This additionally protects the power cable from being pinched or similar during the movement of the components that can be moved relative to each other.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING FIGURES

[0050] In the following description of the figures, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc. refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the furniture or household appliance element, translational-rotational fitting, base, support element, first body, second body and the like selected in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood restrictively, i.e. these references may change due to different working positions or the mirror-symmetrical design or the like.
[0051] In the following, an embodiment of a translational-rotational arrangement according to the invention for a piece of furniture, household appliance or a group 11 of furniture and / or household appliances of a modular interior design system for rooms is described with reference to FIGS. 1-8.
[0052] The further FIGS. 9-16 serve to explain a further embodiment of a furniture or household appliance element 100 according to the invention.
[0053] One such group 11 of furniture or household appliances of a modular interior design system for rooms is shown as an example in FIG. 8.
[0054] As can be seen here, the entire group 11 of furniture and / or household appliances is placed on a support element 3, which is mounted on a base 2.
[0055] As an example of the group 11 of furniture, FIG. 8 shows a shelf 12, a chair 13 and a table 14 positioned on the support element 3, which, by means of translational-rotational movement of the support element 3 relative to the base 2, enables the group 11 of furniture to be aligned in the room, for example rotated by an angle of 90°.
[0056] As shown in FIGS. 1-7, the base 2 and the support element 3 have flat bearing areas 21, 31 facing each other. As mentioned above, the support element 3 is mounted so that it can move simultaneously in translation and rotation relative to the base 2.
[0057] For this purpose, guide cam tracks 22 are arranged in one of the bearing areas 21, 31 of the base 2 or the support element 3 and guide elements 4 guided in or along the contours of the guide cam tracks 22 are arranged in the other of the bearing areas 21, 31.
[0058] This allows the support element 3 to be at least partially positively guided relative to the base 2 so that it can be rotated in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation R1, R2 and moved in a predetermined direction of translation A.
[0059] The movement in the direction of translation A is additionally guided by a guide groove 23 extending in the direction of translation A in the base 2 and a guide element projecting into the guide groove 23 at the bearing area 31 of the support element 3. The guide element is designed as a rotary feedthrough 5.
[0060] Furthermore, the guide cam tracks 22 are shaped in such a way that when a torque is applied to the support element 3, the support element 3 is moved from an initial position via an intermediate position in which the support element 3 is rotated relative to the base 2 in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation R1, R2 and displaced in the direction of translation A, by further rotation in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation R1, R2 and displacement against the direction of translation A into an end position congruent with the starting position.
[0061] In order to enable a power supply with furniture and / or household appliances arranged on the support element 3 or electrical consumers arranged on or in these, a first power connection element 6 is attached to a side of the base 2 facing away from the support element 3 and a second power connection element 7 is attached to an upper side of the support element 3 facing away from the base 2.
[0062] The two power connection elements 6, 7 are connected to each other via a power cable 8 which passes through the rotary feedthrough 5. The power cable 8 is guided through a preferably cylindrical through-opening 51 of the rotary feedthrough 5, which forms a passage for the power cable from the side of the base 2 facing away from the support element 3 to the upper side of the support element 3 facing away from the base 2.
[0063] As further shown in FIGS. 2-7, the first power connection element 6 is preferably connected via a further power cable 9 to a further power connection element 10, which is designed, for example, as a socket on the wall or on the floor of a room.
[0064] FIGS. 3-7 illustrate a translational-rotational movement of the support element 3 relative to the base 2, with which the group 11 of furniture, as shown by way of example in FIG. 8, can be positioned offset by 90° relative to the base 2.
[0065] By routing the power cable 8 through the through-opening 51 of the rotary feedthrough 5, it is possible to lay a cable that reliably connects the power connection elements 6, 7 arranged on the one hand on the base 2 and on the other hand on the support element 3, even during the translational-rotational movement of the support element 3 relative to the base 2.
[0066] The power cable 8 can preferably be designed as a spiral cable.
[0067] Alternatively, it is also conceivable to drag the power cable 8 along with the translational-rotational movement of the support element 3 relative to the base 2.
[0068] As illustrated by the different positioning of the support element 3 relative to the base 2 in FIGS. 3-7 , the suitable arrangement of the first power connection element 6 attached to the base 2 to the side of the guide groove 23 and the first power connection element 6 offset approximately centrally in parallel when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the guide groove 23 allows the length of the power cable 8 required to bridge the distance between the first power connection element 6 and the rotary feedthrough 5 to vary only slightly.
[0069] The distance between the rotary feedthrough 5 and the second power connection element 7 is in any case determined by the distance between the second power connection element 7 and the rotary feedthrough 5, which is also fixed to the support element 3.
[0070] The guidance of the support element 3 on the base 2 via the guide cam tracks 22 and the guide elements 4 guided along or in these is also not impaired by the power cable 8, as the power cable 8 is guided through the through-opening 51 of the rotary feedthrough 5.
[0071] FIGS. 9-16 show an embodiment of a furniture or household appliance element 100 according to the invention.
[0072] The furniture or household appliance element 100 has a first body 110 and a second body 120 that can be moved relative to it. As can be seen in FIG. 10, the second body 120 is exemplarily designed here as a shelf with intermediate shelves closed on two sides by side walls, which is mounted next to a fixed first body 110 so as to be movable in translation and rotation relative thereto by means of a translational-rotational fitting 130.
[0073] In the embodiment example shown, a cover plate 150 is located above the first body 110, which also covers the second body 120, and on which a translational-rotational fitting 130 is also arranged for moving the second body 120.
[0074] The translational-rotational fitting 130 enables a relative movement to the first body 110 in a predetermined direction of translation A and simultaneously in one of two possible opposite directions of rotation R1, R2.
[0075] The translational-rotational fitting 130 has a first fitting plate 131 coupled to the first body 110 and a second fitting plate 132 coupled to the second body 120 and simultaneously movable in translation and rotation relative to the first fitting plate 131.
[0076] A recess 160 is provided here in the base or cover plate 140, 150 of the first body 110 in a closed position of the second body 120 for supplying power to power consumers arranged on or in the second body 120 in an overlapping area of a base or cover plate 140, 150, in this case the base plate 140 of the first body 110 with the second body 120.
[0077] In the embodiment example shown, the recess 160 is provided in the base plate 140 of the first body 110. A power cable 101 is passed through this recess 160, which is connected at a first end to a power connection element 170, which is fastened to a side of the second body 120 facing the base plate or cover plate 140, 150 of the first body 110.
[0078] The recess 160 provided here in the base plate 140 has, as shown in particular in FIG. 9, a through opening 161, a groove-shaped cable duct 162 open to the second body 120, and a flat recess 163 adjoining the cable duct 162 and open to the second body 120.
[0079] FIGS. 14-16 show three positional positions of the translational-rotational fitting 130, mounted on the base plate 140 of the first body 110, during the translational-rotational movement (initial position in FIG. 14, intermediate position in FIG. 15 and final position in FIG. 16) The power cable 101 leading away from the power connection element 170 lies partially in the flat recess 163 during the movement of the second fitting plate 132 of the translational-rotational fitting 130 in all positional positions of the translational-rotational fitting 130.
[0080] This prevents a section of the power cable 101 from being trapped by passing over the second fitting plate 132, which moves relative to the base plate 140.
[0081] The second fitting plate 132 of the translational-rotational fitting 130 shown here as an example is rotated relative to the first fitting plate 131 on the one hand and is simultaneously displaceable in the direction of translation A via a rail guide 134.
[0082] A cam track 133, which is attached here to a base 121 of the second body 120 by the second fitting plate 132, serves to guide the translational and rotational movement of the second body 120 relative to the first body 110.
[0083] The provision of the recess 160 in the base or cover plate 140, 150 of the first body 110 thus also enables power cable routing in the area between the first body 110 and the second body 120, in which the translational-rotational fitting 130 is also arranged.
[0084] With this furniture or household appliance element 100, it is also possible to form the power cable 101 at least in sections as a spiral cable or as a cable loop.
[0085] A portion of the power cable 101 is preferably windable with a winding mechanism, which is preferably formed as part of the power connection element 170, as exemplified in FIGS. 11a and 11b.
[0086] FIG. 11a shows the power connection element 170 with an approximately cylindrical winding body and a cable storage area 172 on the outer sheath surface of the winding body 171 when the power cable 101 is largely unwound.
[0087] FIG. 11b shows the power connection element 170 with a section of the power cable 101 wound up in the cable storage area 172.
[0088] The height of the power connection element 170 is preferably such that, as shown in FIG. 10, it has a slightly lower overall height than the overall height of the translational-rotational fitting 130, so that the power connection element 170 fixed to the base 121 of the second body 120 slides over the surface of the base plate 140 without contact during the translational and rotational movement of the second body 120.
[0089] The power connection element 170 may further comprise, as shown in FIG. 12, a central plug connection for receiving a plug 103 passed through an opening in the base 121 of the second body 120.
[0090] The second element of the power cable 108, which is passed through the through opening 161 of the recess 160 in the base plate 140 of the first body 110, may also be connected directly to a socket on a floor or wall of a room or, as shown in FIG. 12, may also be coupled to a plug 102.
[0091] It is also conceivable here to additionally protect sections of the power cable 101 with an energy chain 180.
[0092] Instead of the flat recess 160 provided in the base plate 140, as shown in particular in FIG. 9, it is also conceivable to form the recess as a guide groove guiding the power cable 101, as shown in FIGS. 17a, 17b, 18a and 18b. FIG. 17a shows the position of the translational-rotational fitting 130 corresponding to FIG. 14, FIG. 17b shows the position of the power cable 101 projecting downwards from the base plate 140 of the first body 110 in a view from below, while FIG. 18a and b show the position of the translational-rotational fitting 130 corresponding to FIG. 16 and correspondingly of the power cable 101 projecting downwards from the base plate 140 of the first body 110.
