[0034] The following describes some non-limiting exemplary embodiments of the disclosure with reference to the accompanying drawings. The described embodiments are merely a part rather than all of the embodiments of the disclosure. All other embodiments obtained by a person of ordinary skill in the art based on the embodiments of the disclosure shall fall within the scope of the disclosure.
[0035] Unless otherwise defined, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by those skilled in the art to which the present disclosure belongs. The terms used in the description of the present disclosure herein are intended for describing particular embodiments only and are not intended to limit the present disclosure. In the description, claims, and the above drawings of the present disclosure, the terms “including” and “having”, as well as their variants, are intended to convey a non-exclusive inclusion. The terms “first”, “second”, etc., as used herein, are intended to distinguish between different objects, rather than to describe a particular order.
[0036] Reference to “embodiments” herein implies that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in conjunction with an embodiment may be included in at least one embodiment of the present disclosure. The appearance of the phrase at various places in the specification does not necessarily refer to the same embodiment, nor is it a separate or an alternative embodiment that is mutually exclusive of other embodiments. One skilled in the art would explicitly and implicitly understand that the embodiments described herein can be combined with other embodiments.
[0037] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 18, the present disclosure may provide an adjustable drawer, including at least two connecting assemblies 11, a plurality of first fastening members 12, and a plurality of second fastening members 13. The at least two connecting assemblies 11 may be slidably connected to each other in a first direction X to form a drawer body 1. The plurality of first fastening members 12 may be configured to lock or unlock relative positions of adjacent connecting assemblies 11. Each of the at least two connecting assemblies 11 may include at least two connecting members 111 distributed in a second direction Y. Two adjacent connecting members 111 in the second direction Y may be slidably connected to each other, and the plurality of second fastening members 13 may be configured to lock relative positions of the two adjacent connecting members 111.
[0038] The first direction X may be perpendicular to the second direction Y. The first direction X may be a length direction of the drawer body 1, and the second direction Y may be a width direction of the drawer body 1. The at least two connecting assemblies 11 may have different numbers of connecting members 111 or have the same number of connecting members 111. The following description will be described based on embodiments where the at least two connecting assemblies 11 have the same number of connecting members 111. Slidable connection between two adjacent connecting assemblies 11 may refer to each of the at least two connecting members 111 being slidably connected to another one of the at least two connecting members 111 adjacent thereto in the first direction X, and the plurality of first fastening members 12 may be configured to lock the relative position between the two adjacent connecting members 111 in the first direction X.
[0039] Therefore, when the at least two connecting assemblies 11 slide with respect to each other in the first direction X, the length of the drawer body 1 may be increased or decreased; when the at least two connecting members 111 of each connecting assembly 11 slide with respect to each other in the second direction Y, the width of the drawer body 1 may be increased or decreased. Therefore, the length and the width of the drawer body 1 may be adjusted according to an installation space of a desired installation location. In this way, the adjustable drawer may be adapted to be applicable for various cabinets, improving adaptability of the drawer body 1.
[0040] A range in which the length and the width of the adjustable drawer can be adjusted may be affected by the number of the at least two connecting assemblies 11 and the number of the at least two connecting members 111. According to the installation space required, adjustable drawers of various specifications may be provided for adaptation. For example, in one specification, the number of the at least two connecting assemblies 11 forming the drawer body 1 may be two; in another specification, the number of the at least two connecting assemblies 11 may be three or more. Similarly, the number of the at least two connecting members 111 for forming each connecting assembly 11 may be determined according to the specification of the adjustable drawer. For example, in one specification, each connecting assembly 11 may include two connecting members 111, suitable for a smaller installation space; in another specification, each connecting assembly 11 may include three or more connecting members 111, suitable for a larger installation space.
[0041] As shown in FIG. 2, one specification may be provided, and the adjustable drawer may include two connecting assemblies 11, and each of the two connecting assemblies 11 may include two connecting members 111. As shown in FIG. 12, another specification may be provided, and the adjustable drawer may include three connecting assemblies 11, each of the three connecting assemblies 11 may include two connecting members 111.
[0042] Specifically, two adjacent connecting members 111 in the second direction Y may be stacked to form a first stack portion 1101. A width of the first stack portion 1101 may be determined according to a relative position between the two adjacent connecting members 111 in the second direction Y. For example, when the width of the drawer body 1 is extended, the first stack portion 1101 may be narrower; when the width of the drawer body 1 is shortened, the first stack portion 1101 may be wider. The second fastening member 13 may connect the two adjacent connecting members 111 with each other at the first stack portion 1101, such that the two adjacent connecting members 111 in the second direction Y may be locked with each other. Furthermore, in order to ensure stability of the connection between the two adjacent connecting members 111 in the second direction Y, each first stack portion 1101 may be arranged with at least one second fastening member 13.
[0043] In another aspect, the two adjacent connecting members 111 in the first direction X may be stacked to form a second stack portion 1102. A width of the second stack portion 1102 may be determined according to the relative position between the two adjacent connecting members 111 in the first direction X. For example, when the length of the drawer body 1 is extended, the second stack portion 1102 may be narrower; when the length of the drawer body 1 is shortened, the second stack portion 1102 may be wider. The first fastening member 12 may connect the two adjacent connecting members 111 with each other at the second stack portion 1102, such that the two adjacent connecting members 111 in the first direction X may be locked with each other, i.e., the relative position between the two adjacent connecting assemblies 11 may be locked. Furthermore, in order to ensure stability of the connection between the two adjacent connecting members 111 in the first direction X, each second stack portion 1102 may be arranged with at least one first fastening member 12.
[0044] In regard to structures of the first fastening member 12 and the second fastening member 13, specifically, the first fastening member 12 and the second fastening member 13 may be bolts in a same configuration or different configurations, clamping members in a same configuration or different configurations, guide rail members in a same configuration or different configurations, adhesive members in a same configuration or different configurations, snap-fit structures in a same configuration or different configurations, and so on.
[0045] In some embodiments, each of the first fastening members 12 and the second fastening members 13 may be an adhesive member. In this case, the first fastening members 12 may be arranged inside the second stack portion 1102 and may be adhered and fixed to the two adjacent connecting members 111; and correspondingly, the second fastening member 13 may be arranged inside the first stack portion 1101 and may be adhered and fixed to the two adjacent connecting members 111. In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 9, each of the first fastening member 12 and the second fastening member 13 may be a bolt. Each connecting member 111 may define a plurality of installation holes 1113, and the first fastening member 12 or the second fastening member 13 may pass through certain ones of the plurality of installation holes 1113. Correspondingly, each connecting member 111 may define at least one installation hole 1113 at the first stack portion 1101 and at the second stack portion 1102. The installation holes 1113 of adjacent connecting members 111 at the first stack portion 1101 may at least partially overlap with each other, and the installation holes 1113 of adjacent connecting members 111 at the second stack portion 1102 may at least partially overlap with each other. In this way, the first fastening member 12 or the second fastening member 13 may simultaneously pass through the installation holes 1113 of the two adjacent connecting members 111, so as to lock the two adjacent connecting members 111 with each other.
[0046] The installation hole 1113 may be an elongated hole. Specifically, the installation hole 1113 may extend along the first direction X or along the second direction Y. For example, in some embodiments, the plurality of installation holes 1113 may include a plurality of first holes 11131 that are distributed along the first direction X, the plurality of first holes 11131 may be distributed equidistantly or non-equidistantly in both the first direction X and the second direction Y. As the number of the plurality of first holes 11131 distributed in the first direction X is greater, the length of the drawer body 1 may be adjusted more flexibly. For example, in some embodiments, the plurality of installation holes 1113 may include a plurality of second holes 11132 that are distributed along the second direction Y, the plurality of second holes 11132 may be distributed equidistantly or non-equidistantly in both the first direction X and the second direction Y. As the number of the plurality of second holes 11132 distributed in the second direction Y is greater, the width of the drawer body 1 may be adjusted more flexibly. For example, as shown in FIG. 6A, in some embodiments, the plurality of installation holes 1113 may include the plurality of first holes 11131 that are distributed along the first direction X and the plurality of second holes 11132 that are distributed along the second direction Y. The plurality of first holes 11131 may be distributed equidistantly in both the first direction X and the second direction Y, and the plurality of second holes 11132 may be distributed equidistantly in both the first direction X and the second direction Y. In this way, each of the plurality of first holes 11131 may perpendicularly intersect with a respective one of the plurality of second holes 11132, so as to form a cross-shaped hole, such that adjustment of the drawer body 1 may be maximized.
[0047] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 6B, each of the plurality of installation holes 1113 may include a first hole 11131 extending along the first direction X and a second hole 11132 extending along the second direction Y. Along the X direction, a plurality of first holes 11131 of the plurality of installation holes 1113 may be distributed into a plurality of rows; and in each row, extending directions of all first holes 11131 coincide with each other. Along the Y direction, every two adjacent first holes 11131, which are located in two adjacent rows, are misaligned with each other. Along the Y direction, a plurality of second holes 11132 of the plurality of installation holes 1113 may be distributed into a plurality of columns; and in each column, extending directions of all second holes 11132 coincide with each other. Along the X direction, every two adjacent second holes 11132, which are located in two adjacent columns, are misaligned with each other.
[0048] In this way, a range in which the length of the drawer body 1 can be adjusted may be wider; and a range in which the width of the drawer body 1 can be adjusted may be wider. By properly designing a particular length and width and a position of each first hole 11131 and each second hole 11132, an almost stepless adjustment in the length and the width of the drawer body 1 can be achieved.
[0049] Of course, in some embodiments, the installation hole 1113 may be configured in other shapes, such as circular holes, square holes, and so on, as long as the bolt can partially pass through the installation hole 1113.
[0050] In regard to the connecting member 111, in some embodiments, the connecting member 111 may include at least a bottom portion 1111 and at least one side stop portion 1112 arranged above the bottom portion 1111. The side stop portion 1112 may be arranged at an edge of the bottom portion 1111. The side stop portion 1112 may be integrally formed with or detachably connected to the bottom portion 1111. Bottom portions 1111 of the plurality of connecting members 111 may cooperatively form a bottom wall 101 of the drawer body 1, and side stop portions 1112 of the plurality of connecting members 111 may cooperatively form a peripheral wall 102 of the drawer body 1. Specifically, the bottom portions 1111 of adjacent connecting members 111 may be slidable with respect to each other, and the side stop portions 1112 of adjacent connecting members 111 may be slidably connected to each other.
[0051] In regard to the side stop portion 1112, in some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 3, the side stop portion 1112 may be a vertical or inclined plate, protruding from the bottom portion 1111 in a third direction. The side stop portion 1112 may be integrally formed with the bottom portion 1111. Without affecting relative sliding of adjacent connecting members 111, the plate-shaped side stop portion 1112 may be arranged with a concave structure or a convex structure extending along a length direction (first direction X or second direction Y) of the side stop portion 1112. The third direction Z may be perpendicular to both the first direction X and the second direction Y, and the third direction Z may be a height direction of the drawer body 1.
[0052] The first stack portion 1101 and the second stack portion 1102 as described in the above may be formed on the bottom wall 101 of the drawer body 1, or on the peripheral wall 102 of the drawer body 1, or on both the bottom wall 101 and the peripheral wall 102 of the drawer body 1. It should be noted that the plurality of installation holes 1113 may be defined in only the bottom wall 101 (as shown in FIG. 1), or defined in only the peripheral wall 102 (as shown in FIG. 7), or defined in both the bottom wall 101 and the peripheral wall 102.
[0053] The first fastening members 12 and the second fastening members 13 may be fastened on the peripheral wall 102. In an example where both the first fastening members 12 and the second fastening members 13 are bolts, as shown in FIG. 7, the side stop portion 1112 of each of two adjacent connecting members 111 may define at least one installation hole 1113. The installation hole 1113 may be the elongated hole. One first fastening member 12 may be configured to pass through the installation holes 1113 on the side stop portions 1112 of both of the two adjacent connecting members 111, such that the two adjacent connecting members 111 may be locked to each other.
[0054] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, in the present embodiment, the drawer body 1 may include two connecting assemblies 11, and each of the two connecting assemblies 11 may include two connecting members 111. In the present embodiment, the total number of connecting members 111 may be four. The four connecting members 111 may be arranged in two rows and two columns. Each of the four connecting member 111 may include: one bottom portion 1111, which may be square and plate-shaped; and two side stop portions 1112, which may be plate-shaped and may be perpendicularly connected to each other. All side stop portions 1112 of the four connecting member 111 may cooperatively form the peripheral wall 102, which may form a closed periphery.
[0055] As shown in FIG. 12, in an embodiment, the drawer body 1 may include three connecting assemblies 11, and each of the three connecting assemblies 11 may include two connecting members 111. In the present embodiment, the total number of connecting members 111 may be six, arranged in two rows and three columns. Each of the six connecting members 111 may include one bottom portion 1111 that may be square and plate-shaped. Each of two of the six connecting members 111 located at a leftmost column and another two of the six connecting members 111 located at a rightmost column may further have two side stop portions 1112 that may be plate-shaped and perpendicularly connected to each other. Each of the other two of the six connecting members 111 located at a middle column may have only one side stop portion 1112. All side stop portions 1112 of the six connecting members 111 may cooperatively form the peripheral wall 102, which may be a closed periphery.
[0056] Of course, in some embodiments, three connecting assemblies 11 may be arranged, and each of the three connecting assemblies 11 may include three connecting members 111. In this case, the total number of connecting members 111 may be nine, arranged in three rows and three columns. In this case, one of the nine connecting members 111 located at a very center may have only the bottom portion 1111 and no side stop portion 1112, and the remaining ones of the nine connecting members 111 may be arranged with one or two side stop portions 1112 according to positions thereof. In this way, it may be ensured that all side stop portions 1112 may cooperatively form the peripheral wall 102, which may be a closed periphery. Similarly, in some embodiments, an even greater number of connecting members 111 may be arranged in the above manner to form the drawer body 1, such that the drawer body 1 may be applicable more flexibly.
[0057] Specifically, in an embodiment, each of the first fastening member 12 and the second fastening member 13 may be the bolt, as shown in FIG. 5, an intersecting region may be formed between the first stack portion 1101 and the second stack portion 1102 formed on the bottom wall 101 of the drawer body. The intersecting region may be a third stack portion 1103. Any first fastening member 12 passing through the third stack portion 1103 may serve as the second fastening member 13.
[0058] A structure of slidable connection between the adjacent side stop portions 1112 may be shown in FIG. 3. The side stop portion 1112 of one of the two adjacent connecting members 111 may be arranged with a guide portion at an upper end of the side stop portion 1112, and an upper end of the side stop portion 1112 of the other one of the two adjacent connecting members 111 may be arranged with a connecting portion mated with the guide portion. The connecting portion may slide along the guide portion, such that a relative sliding direction of the two adjacent connecting members 111 may be restricted. In other words, mating of the guide portion and the connecting portion may define the sliding direction. For example, for two adjacent connecting members 111 arranged in the first direction X, the side stop portion 1112 of one of the two adjacent connecting members 111 may be arranged with a first guide portion 1114 extending in the first direction X, and the side stop portion 1112 of the other one of the two adjacent connecting members 111 may be arranged with a first connecting portion 1115 extending in the first direction X. The first guide portion 1114 may sleeve an outside of the first connecting portion 1115, such that the first connecting portion 1115 may slide with respect to only the first guide portion 1114 in only the first direction X. In another example, for two adjacent connecting members 111 arranged in the second direction Y, the side stop portion 1112 of one of the two adjacent connecting members 111 may be arranged with a second guide portion 1116 extending in the second direction Y, and the side stop portion 1112 of the other one of the two adjacent connecting members 111 may be arranged with a second connecting portion 1117 extending in the second direction Y. The second guide portion 1116 may sleeve an outside of the second connecting portion 1117, such that the second connecting portion 1117 may slide with respect to only the second guide portion 1116 in only the second direction Y. It should be noted that the guide portions and the connecting portions of various connecting members may be bent flanges having a same shape but different sizes, as shown in FIG. 3. Each of the bent flanges may be a flange bent inward or outward of the drawer body. For example, the bent flange of the guide portion may be larger and may form a slide cavity 1118, and the bent flange of the connecting portion may be smaller and may be inserted into the slide cavity 1118.
[0059] In some embodiments, the guide portion may be the bent flange. As shown in FIG. 4, the bent flange of the first guide portion 1114 may include a lateral flange 11101 perpendicular to the side stop portion 1112 and a vertical flange 11102 perpendicular to the lateral flange 11101. The vertical flange 11102 may be opposite to the side stop portion 1112. The side stop portion 1112, the lateral flange 11101, and the vertical flange 11102 may cooperatively define the slide cavity 1118. The connecting portion may be configured in other shapes, for example, as shown in FIG. 4, a no-bending top end of the side stop portion 1112 may serve as the first connecting portion 1115. In some embodiments, the bent flange of the connecting portion may include only the lateral flange 11101 perpendicular to the side stop portion 1112, and the vertical flange 11102 perpendicular to the lateral flange 11101 may not be arranged (not shown in the drawings).
[0060] It is understandable that for the embodiment where the first fastening member 12 and the second fastening member 13 are adhesive members, the connecting member 111 cannot be arranged with the guide portion or the connecting portion. Alternatively, the guide portions must be reasonably designed (for example, in a case where the side stop portions of two adjacent connecting members are adhered to each other, the guide portion may have only the lateral flange 11101 and may not have the vertical flange 11102), so as to prevent restriction in the sliding direction between the guide portion and the connecting portion from hindering an adhesion process.
[0061] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 15, for the drawer body 1, a partition plate 1119 may be arranged on at least one connecting member 111, so as to partition an internal space of the drawer. The partition plate 1119 may be detachably connected to the bottom portion 1111, or integrally formed with the bottom portion 1111. A structure of the partition plate 1119 may be the same as or different from that of the side stop portion 1112.
[0062] Alternatively, for some connecting members 111, in addition to the desired number of side stop portions 1112 for forming the peripheral wall 102, the connecting member 111 may be arranged with at least one additional side stop portion 1112. One or two of the at least one additional side stop portion 1112 may serve as the partition plate 1119. As shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, the drawer body 1 may include four connecting members 111 in total. For two of the four connecting members 111, each may include two side stop portions 1112 for forming the peripheral wall 102. Another one of the four connecting members 111 may include three side stop portions 1112 (two of the three side stop portions 1112 may form part of the peripheral wall 102, and the rest one of the three side stop portions 1112 may form the partition plate 1119). The rest one of the four connecting members 111 may include four side stop portions (two of the four side stop portions may form part of the peripheral wall 102, and the rest two of the four side stop portions may serve as partition plates 1119).
[0063] In regard to a structure of the side stop portion 1112, in some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 18, some or all of the side stop portions 1112 may be configured as suspended stop rods 11121. The stop rod 11121 may be connected to the bottom portion 1111 via a support plate 11122. The support plate 11122 may be bolted or welded to the bottom portion 1111, and the stop rod 11121 may also be bolted or welded to the support plate 11122. In this way, the stop rod 11121 may be indirectly connected to the bottom portion 1111. Stop rods 11121 of the two adjacent connecting members 111 may cooperatively form an extendable and retractable rod.
[0064] After the length and the width of the drawer body 1 are adjusted, configuration of the drawer body 1 may be fixed by the first fastening members 12 and the second fastening members 13. Subsequently, the drawer body 1 may be installed for use in a specific scenario. Therefore, the adjustable drawer may further include a sliding assembly 14, and the drawer body 1 may move based on the sliding assembly 14. Specifically, components of the sliding assembly 14 may be selectively installed on any position of the bottom wall 101 of the drawer body 1 or on the peripheral wall 102, or, as shown in FIG. 14, installed on both the bottom wall 101 and the peripheral wall 102.
[0065] For example, in some embodiments as shown in FIG. 8, the sliding assembly 14 may include a plurality of rollers 141. The plurality of rollers 141 may be fixed to a lower side of the bottom wall 101 of the drawer body 1 by bolts, magnetic attractive members, or adhesives, such that the drawer body 1 may be movable within the installation space. In some embodiments, each connecting member 111 may be arranged with at least one roller of the plurality of rollers 141. It is understandable that, in some embodiments, at least one connecting member 111 may not be arranged with any roller 141.
[0066] For example, in some embodiments as shown in FIGS. 9, 10, and 11, the sliding assembly 14 may include a plurality of slide rails 142. Each of the plurality of slide rails 142 may include two connecting surfaces. One of the two connecting surfaces may be connected to the bottom wall 101 or a side surface of the drawer body 1, and the other one of the two connecting surfaces may be connected to a cabinet (such as an office cabinet, a kitchen cabinet, and so on) or an object connectable to the cabinet (such as an intermediate bracket). In this way, the drawer body 1 may be slidable within the installation space along the slide rails 142. The slide rail 142 may be mounted on only one connecting member 111, or may be connected two or more connecting members 111.
[0067] Of course, in some other embodiments, the rollers and the slide rails may be configured in combination. For example, the rollers 141 may be installed on the bottom wall 101, and the slide rails 142 may be installed on at least one of the peripheral wall 102 and the bottom wall 101. In another example, both the rollers 141 and the slide rails 142 may be installed on the bottom wall 101.
[0068] It is understandable that, without affecting sliding of the drawer body 1, the sliding assembly 14 may be installed under any connecting member 111 (the bottom portion 1111). In some embodiments, the sliding assembly 14 may be installed on a lower one of the two adjacent connecting members 111.
[0069] In some embodiments, the first fastening member 12 and the second fastening member 13 may be arranged on the slide rails 142. For example, the first fastening member 12 and the second fastening member 13 may be the adhesive members. The adhesive members may be adhered and fixed to the slide rails 142 and may further be adhered and fixed to the connecting members 111. In another example, the first fastening member 12 and the second fastening member 13 may be bolts, and the slide rail 142 may be connected to the connecting member 111 via the first fastening member 12 or the second fastening member 13. Therefore, the slide rails 142 and the drawer body 1 may be connected to each other via adhesive or bolts. Furthermore, a user may adjust a position and a direction in which the slide rails 142 are installed according to practical situations. For example, the slide rail 142 may be installed to extend along the first direction X, and in this case the slide rail 142 may be connected at least two adjacent connecting members 111 in the first direction X. Alternatively, the slide rail 142 may be installed to extend along the second direction Y, and in this case the slide rail 142 may be connected at least two adjacent connecting members 111 in the second direction Y.
[0070] Of course, in some embodiments, the slide rail 142 may replace the first fastening member 12 and / or the second fastening member 13. In other words, at least one of the first fastening member 12 or the second fastening member 13 may be configured as a guide rail. For example, when the slide rail 142 is arranged to replace the first fastening member 12, the second fastening member 13 may be arranged to lock two adjacent connecting members 111 arranged in the second direction Y, and the slide rail 142 may lock two adjacent connecting members 111 in the first direction X to each other via adhesive members or bolts. In this case, the adhesive members or the bolts may not be arranged in the second stack portion 1102. Similarly, when the slide rail 142 is arranged to replace the second fastening member 13, the slide rail 142 may lock two adjacent connecting members 111 in the second direction Y to each other via adhesive members or bolts, and the adhesive members or the bolts may not be arranged in the first stack portion 1101.
[0071] It should be noted that, in some embodiments, the side stop portion 1112 of the connecting member 111 may be arranged with hollow patterns, holes, or the like. When the drawer body 1 is arranged for a cabinet requiring ventilation, such as a kitchen cabinet, the hollow patterns or holes may facilitate ventilation for items stored in the drawer body 1 and facilitate the items stored in the drawer body 1 to be dehumidified.
