[0014] The new patent application is a more specific usable dish brush in sweeping all dirt on paved surfaces, wherein no dirt can leave the inside of the dish brush during rotation of said dish brush.
[0015] So, a new inventive dish brush was developed in an economic way. All dirt on a paved surface that was swept together with a circular rotary dish brush is sucked off by the central sucking tube of a sweeping machine.
[0016] The aim of the invention is to construct a circular rotary dish brush that overcomes the problems described and can be manufactured in an economical way. The demountable parts of the dish brush have to be mounted and demounted easily as well. The mounting screws have to be protected against the dirt from the street and from the corrosion process. So, demountable new segmental brush parts should be easily mountable and well protected against corrosion.
[0017] Dish brush for conventional sweeping machines for cleaning-up by brushing and sweeping paved surfaces such as streets, squares etc. with a central plate with a raised contour, wherein demountable segmental flat-plated elements with brush plugs are placed and is characterized in that said central base plate with the raised contour edge at an angle a has an overall diameter D and has a plate thickness d1 and is provided at segmental radial orientated distances at an angle β to the centre with l-shaped profiles, wherein demountable flat ring-shaped plates with a thickness d2 are slit, where at the bottom side at mutual radial distances steel head elements with brush plugs are welded, wherein said demountable segmental circular ring-shaped flat plates are fastened with retraction bolts in the middle through countersunk cylindrical holes at the top into the threaded inside of the pop riveted cylindrical caps with an internal thread, wherein the dish brush is mounted with screws through the threaded cylindrical bores on the flange of the sucking tube of a sweeping machine (not shown).
[0018] The advantage is, that no swept-off dirt from paved surfaces can go outside the round contour of the sucked-off dish brush. The segmental cylindrical ring-shaped plates with mentioned brush plugs are always easy to replace because of the screws fastened in the pop riveted cylindrical caps. So, there is no street dirt in the screw thread or corrosion, due to street liquid, of the screws. This element is important for the maintenance department. The sweeping result or quality of the paved surfaces increases in comparison with the dish brush of our patent application EP4316310.
[0019] Furthermore, the dish brush according to the invention is further developed in such a way, wherein said segmental radially orientated I-shaped profiles are situated at circular distances of 360 degrees divided by n, usually n=5.
[0020] The advantage is, that relatively small segmental brush parts being the only demountable segmental flat-plated elements with the brush plugs have to be transported to the user of the sweeping machine. The reduces the transportation and mounting costs, because you do not have to transport a large completely mounted dish brush. The relatively big central plate can stay at the user's place and can be used over and over again.
[0021] Then, the dish brush according to the invention is developed in such a way, wherein said total contour diameter D is up to 500 mm and said angle a is up to 30 degrees and the plate thickness d1 and d2 are up to 5 mm, wherein the material of the central base plate with the raised contour edge and said demountable segmental circular ring-shaped plates are executed of construction steel, wherein said brush plugs are welded with their steel head profiles to said demountable segmental circular ring-shaped plates.
[0022] Then, the dish brush according to the invention is further developed in such a way, wherein said bush plugs are executed in steel strips.
[0023] The advantage is, a strong set of brush plugs for more heavy-duty sweeping activities on the streets and squares.
[0024] Furthermore, the dish brush according to the invention is developed in such a way, wherein the brush plugs are fabricated of PA (Polyamide / Nylon), PBT (Poly Butylene Terephthalate); PE (Polyethylene); PP (Delrin, Polyacetate); PVC (Polyvinylchloride); Rubber, Copper or Bronze.
[0025] The advantage is, that all kinds of materials on surfaces can be brushed with a chosen optimal material for brushing.
[0026] Then, the dish brush according to the invention is developed in such a way, wherein the length L of mentioned brush plugs usually is between 250 mm and 500 mm, preferably 350 mm.
[0027] The advantage is, that the length L of mentioned brush plugs can be adapted to flexible sweeping activities and materials of different surfaces, because the stiffness of the brush plugs depends partly of its length L.
[0028] The invention relates to a further developed dish brush (1) for sweeping machine; wherein a central base plate (2) with a raised contour edge (3) is provided with demountable segmentally ring-shaped elements (5) with at the bottom side the steel head profiles {7) welded with the brush plugs elements (6). So, in a very easy and economical way said segmentally ring-shaped elements (5) can be replaced and all the dirt on the pavement can be sucked off with a central pipe of the sweeping machine.
[0029] FIG. 1 shows a top view of a preferred embodiment of the dish brush 1 with mentioned demountable segmental flat-plated ring-shaped elements 5 with the brush plugs 6 at the bottom side. See also the FIGS. 2, 3, 6 and 7. The segmental flat-plated ring-shaped elements 5 are slit or cut in the I-profiles 4 and are fastened by retraction bolts 8 through a flat bore 9 into the threaded internal wall of the pop riveted cylindrical caps 10. See FIGS. 4, 5 and 1. Furthermore is shown, that the radially orientated profiles 4 are connected at radial distances of 360 degrees divided by n, wherein usually n=5. So, this gives a centre angle ♦—The radially orientated profiles 4 with an]; shaped cross-section are connected with welds 12 to the raised contour 3. The raised contour 3 has an angle a to the central base plate 2. See FIGS. 4, 6 and 7. At the bottom side of the segmental flat-shaped ring-shaped elements 5, steel heads. 7 of the brush plugs 6 are connected through welds 13. See FIG. 4.
[0030] In FIG. 4 is shown the retraction bolt 8 fastened to the demountable segmental circular ring-shaped elements 5 to the raised contour 3 of the complete dish brush 1. For mounting the complete dish brush 1 to the flange of the suction pipe with bolts 11 (not shown) to the sweeping machine threaded bore bolts are needed.
[0031] This embodiment of our inventive dish brush 1 is constructed in an easy and economical way and a step forward in the use of sweeping machines. The sweeping results of the machine are also very much improved.
[0032] By dividing the ring-shaped plates 5 into segmental ones with a central angle ♦, the user can easily replace one-by-one said ring-shaped elements 5 with the brush plugs 6. The flat-plated ring-shaped element 5 with the brush plugs 6 can be easily transported to the client and can be mounted separately instead of mounting the complete dish brush as is usually the case.
[0033] Finally, it has to be emphasized that a preferred embodiment of the invention is described and that it is self-evident that further modifications are possible without leaving the scope of the invention.
[0034] It should be noted that the terms “first”, “second”, and “third”, and the like may be used herein to modify elements performing similar and / or analogous functions. These modifiers do not imply a spatial, sequential, or hierarchical order to the modified elements unless specifically stated.
[0035] Therefore, it is intended that the disclosure not be limited to the particular embodiments disclosed as the best mode contemplated for carrying out this disclosure, but that the disclosure will include all embodiments falling within the scope of the appended claims.
