A detachable artificial nail kit, comprising:an artificial nail base having a first surface and an opposite second surface, with a side wall connecting at first front edges of the first surface and the second surface, wherein the side wall includes an opening and a cavity extending from the opening into the base, and the first surface includes a curved shape for fitting a user's nail surface; andan artificial nail tip having a second front edge, a rear edge and a protrusion extending from the rear edge of the artificial nail tip, wherein the protrusion is detachably fitted into the cavity of the artificial nail base.

2. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the side wall includes a planal or curved surface connecting the first surface and the second surface.

3. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the second front edge of the artificial nail tip is flat, round, square or arcuate.

4. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the rear edge of the artificial nail tip has the same width as the first front edge of the artificial nail base and fits accordingly.

5. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the second surface comprises a decoration design.

6. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the artificial nail base has a width ranging from 6 mm to 16 mm and a length ranging from 10 mm to 15 mm.

7. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the rear edge of the artificial nail tip has the same width as the first front edge of the artificial nail base and a length ranging from 2 mm to 15 mm.

8. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the protrusion of the artificial nail tip has a length ranging from 2 mm to 4 mm.

9. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the protrusion of the artificial nail tip, the width of the protrusion ranges from 2 mm to 5 mm.

10. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the artificial nail tip comprises a plurality of the protrusions with a gap ranging from 0.5 mm to 2 mm between adjacent protrusions.

11. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the detachable artificial nail kit is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) plastic.

12. The detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the detachable artificial nail kit is manufactured by injection molding process.

13. A set of artificial nails comprising a plurality of detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of the detachable artificial nails is of different sizes.

14. The set of artificial nails according to claim 13, wherein the plurality of artificial nail tips comprises a plurality of decoration designs, a plurality of shapes of the second front edges, or both of them.

15. The set of artificial nails according to claim 13, wherein the plurality of detachable artificial nail kits has different numbers of the cavities and the corresponding protrusions.

16. A method of using a detachable artificial nail kit as claimed in claim 1, comprising the following steps:mounting the artificial nail base to the surface of the user's nail; andattaching the artificial nail tip to the artificial nail base by fitting the protrusion(s) into the cavity of the artificial nail base.

17. The method of using a detachable artificial nail kit according to claim 16, further comprising replacing another artificial nail tip to the artificial nail base.
