CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] This application claims the benefit of priority to Chinese Patent Application 202520562657.0 filed on Mar. 28, 2025 and 202521407256.4 filed on Jul. 7, 2025, in the China National Intellectual Property Administration. The entire contents of the above-identified application are hereby incorporated by reference.FIELD

[0002] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of pillow, in particular to a neck pillow.BACKGROUND

[0003] A neck pillow generally refers to a support device designed to fit around the neck. When a user needs to maintain a sitting posture for an extended period, wearing the neck pillow can provide support to the neck, reducing fatigue and discomfort.

[0004] There are various types of neck pillows available on the market, including inflatable neck pillows, filled neck pillows, and one-piece neck pillows. Inflatable neck pillows offer portability but have poor comfort; one-piece neck pillows are inconvenient to carry, usually made of relatively hard rubber via injection molding, which can provide sufficient support force and has better comfort than inflatable ones; filled neck pillows mainly use filled materials such as sponge, memory foam, or other soft materials to enhance comfort, however, the filled materials are relatively soft, resulting in limited support force they can provide. Therefore, filled neck pillows are the mainstream type on the market.

[0005] Existing filled neck pillows often use sponge with a certain hardness for filling to support the user's head. Nevertheless, sponge with excessively high hardness cannot freely deform according to the contour of the user's head and neck, leading to poor fit and insufficient comfort. In addition, the filling of the neck pillow is mostly an integrally formed structure, and the outer surface of the filling has no undulations. When worn, the filling is completely attached to the human neck, resulting in poor breathability and a tendency to cause sweating. If the filling of the neck pillow is made of a material with high hardness, the entire neck pillow cannot be randomly curled or deformed, making it difficult to fold and store, and occupying a large space. It can be seen that the filled neck pillows in the prior art have the problems of inconvenient storage and poor wearing comfort.SUMMARY

[0006] The technical problem to be solved by the present disclosure is to provide a neck pillow that can address the problems of inconvenient storage and poor wearing comfort of conventional neck pillows.

[0007] To solve the above technical problems, the present disclosure provides a neck pillow, which includes: a filling, which includes a supporting element and a contact element, wherein the contact element is mounted on the inward-facing side of the supporting element; a flexible outer cover, which encloses the outer side surface of the filling; the side of the contact element remote from the supporting element is provided with a plurality of protrusions arranged at intervals, such that air guide grooves are formed between two adjacent protrusions.

[0008] wherein, the hardness of the contact element is less than the hardness of the supporting element.

[0009] wherein, the outer surface of the flexible outer cover is provided with a fluff layer, and one end of the flexible outer cover extends outward to form an adjustment strap with a hook-and-loop fastener, which can be bonded to any position of the fluff layer.

[0010] wherein, the width of the supporting element gradually decreases from the center of the supporting element toward both ends thereof.

[0011] wherein, a recessed groove is formed at the middle position of the top of the supporting element.

[0012] wherein, the top of the supporting element extends upward to form paired supporting portions, and the paired supporting portions are located on the left and right sides of the groove.

[0013] wherein, the number of protrusions on both sides of the contact member is greater than that in the middle of the contact member, and each protrusion is one or a combination of two or more of a cylinder, a cone, a pyramid, and a prism.

[0014] wherein, the flexible outer cover comprises an outer lining fabric and an inner lining fabric fixedly connected to the outer lining fabric, a cavity for accommodating the filling is formed between the outer lining fabric and the inner lining fabric, the inner lining fabric includes a left side fabric, a middle fabric, and a right side fabric fixedly connected in sequence from left to right, the widths of the left side fabric and the right side fabric are respectively the same as the width of the supporting element at their corresponding positions, and the width of the middle fabric is greater than the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position.

[0015] wherein, a cavity for accommodating the filling is formed between the outer lining fabric and the inner lining fabric, the inner lining fabric includes a left side fabric, a middle fabric, and a right side fabric fixedly connected in sequence from left to right, the width of the left side fabric and the right side fabric are respectively greater than the width of the supporting element at their corresponding positions by a certain margin, and the width of the middle fabric is greater than the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position by a larger margin.

[0016] wherein, the middle fabric is connected to the left side fabric by stitching, and the middle fabric is connected to the right-side fabric by stitching.

[0017] wherein, both the left and right sides of the middle fabric are provided with outwardly protruding limiting portions, and both the right side of the left side fabric and the left side of the right-side fabric are provided with inwardly recessed clamping grooves; in the assembled state, the limiting portions are inserted into the corresponding clamping grooves. The cross-sectional shape of the limiting portion and the cross-sectional shape of the clamping groove are each one of a semicircular shape, a triangular shape, a dovetail shape, or a crescent shape.

[0018] Compared with the prior art, the embodiments of the present disclosure have the following beneficial effects: the hook-and-loop fastener can be adhered to any position of the fluff layer, enabling the neck pillow to form rings of different sizes, which is suitable for necks of different thicknesses or provides different tightness for the wearer, thus having strong applicability. In addition, during storage, the entire neck pillow can be rolled up and fixed by the hook-and-loop fastener to achieve a compressed storage effect, reducing the space occupied by the neck pillow and making it more convenient for portability and storage, thereby solving the problem of difficult storage of conventional neck pillows.

[0019] The hardness of the contact element is lower than that of the support element. The support element has relatively high hardness and can play a role in supporting and bearing the weight, while the contact element has relatively low hardness and can fill the recessed parts of the neck, improving the fit between the neck pillow and the neck and enhancing the wearing comfort of the neck pillow, thus solving the problem of poor wearing comfort of conventional neck pillows.

[0020] The contact element is provided with a plurality of spaced protrusions and forms air guide grooves. During use, gaps are left between the protrusions, which can avoid the sense of oppression caused by flat fitting, reduce the oppression on the blood vessels and nerves of the neck, and further improve the wearing comfort. The air guide grooves can enhance the air permeability of the neck pillow and avoid the problem of sweating due to long-term wearing.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0026] To enable those skilled in the art to better understand the solution of the present disclosure, the technical solutions in the embodiment of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in the embodiment of the present disclosure. Obviously, the described embodiment is only a part of the present disclosure. Based on the embodiments of the present disclosure, all other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art without making creative efforts shall fall within the protection scope of the present disclosure.

[0027] The terms “first”, “second”, etc. in the specification, claims, and the above-mentioned accompanying drawings of the present disclosure are used to distinguish different objects, rather than to describe a specific order. In addition, the terms “comprise”, “comprising” and any variations thereof are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion. For example, a process, method, device, product, or server that comprises a series of steps or units is not limited to the listed steps or units, but optionally further includes unlisted steps or units, or optionally further includes other steps or units inherent to the process, method, product, or server.

[0028] Reference to an “embodiment” herein means that a specific feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with the embodiment may be included in at least one embodiment of the present utility model. The appearance of this phrase at various places in the specification does not necessarily all refer to the same embodiment, nor is it an independent or alternative embodiment that is mutually exclusive with other embodiments. Those skilled in the art will explicitly and implicitly understand that the embodiments described herein may be combined with other embodiments.

[0029] Referring to FIG. 1 to FIG. 2. The neck pillow includes a filling and a flexible outer cover 1 covering the outer side of the filling. Optionally, the flexible outer cover 1 is provided with a filling opening for placing the filling, and the filling opening is provided with a zipper assembly 14 for opening and closing the filling opening. the filling opening may alternatively be provided with a hook-and-loop fastener assembly or sewing threads, which mainly facilitates the taking and placing of the filling, the cleaning of the flexible outer cover 1, and the replacement of the filling.

[0030] The filling includes a supporting element 2 and a contact element 3, and the contact element 3 is mounted on the inward-facing side of the supporting element 2. The side of the supporting element 2 facing the contact element 3 is provided with a limiting groove 21 for receiving the contact element 3. The limiting groove 21 is approximately a concave structure, which mainly functions to limit the movement of the contact element 3 relative to the supporting element 2 to a certain extent after the contact element 3 is placed in the limiting groove 21, so that the contact element 3 can always be located at the middle position of the supporting element 2.

[0031] the supporting element 2 and the contact element 3 may also be prepared from two different foam materials through a foaming mold, that is, the supporting element 2 and the contact element 3 form an integral structure; alternatively, the supporting element 2 and the contact element 3 may be fixedly connected through a detachable structure such as a buckle, adhesive, hook-and-loop fastener, etc.

[0032] The hardness of the contact element 3 is lower than that of the supporting element 2. For example, the supporting element 2 is made of high-resilience sponge with a Shore hardness of 40-50, while the contact element 3 is made of memory foam with a Shore hardness of 20-30. This enables the supporting element 2 to form a rigid longitudinal support, and the contact element 3 to form a flexible transverse support. The flexible contact element 3 can be attached to the neck area to form a central pressure relief zone, improving breathability and comfort during wearing. The supporting element 2 can bear the weight of the head, reduce pressure on the neck, and the neck pillow helps promote blood circulation and prevent dizziness, numbness of the hands, and other problems caused by improper posture.

[0033] Referring to FIG. 2, the side of the contact element 3 away from the supporting element 2 is provided with a plurality of protrusions 31 arranged at intervals, so that air guide grooves are formed between adjacent protrusions 31. Optionally, the protrusions 31 are arranged in a matrix. the number of protrusions 31 on both sides of the contact element 3 is greater than that in the middle of the contact element 3. For example, each side of the contact element 3 is provided with 4, 6, or 9 protrusions 31, while the middle of the contact element 3 is provided with only 1 protrusion 31. This uneven interval distribution method is suitable for use in various scenarios.

[0034] The first wearing method is to move the contact element 3 to the back of the neck for use, where the protrusions 31 can play roles such as massage and ventilation.

[0035] The second wearing method is to move the contact element 3 to the front of the neck for use, that is, the contact element 3 is attached to the area near the Adam's apple. Since the number of protrusions 31 in the middle of the contact element 3 is small (usually one), the protrusions 31 will not press the wearer's Adam's apple, further improving comfort. In other embodiments, the neck pillow can also be used as daily necessities such as a pillow or a lumbar pillow, having strong applicability. It should be noted that in addition to improving wearing comfort, the protrusions 31 also make it easier for the contact element 3 to be rolled into a cylinder during rolling, facilitating carrying and storage.

[0036] To further improve the applicability and portability of the neck pillow, the outer surface of the flexible outer cover 1 is provided with a fluff layer 11, and one end of the flexible outer cover 1 extends outward to form an adjustment strap 12 with a hook-and-loop fastener 13. The hook-and-loop fastener 13 can be bonded to any position of the fluff layer 11.

[0037] The hook-and-loop fastener 13 is a Velcro with a hook-like structure, and the fluff layer 11 is Velcro fluff that can adhere to the hook-like structure, so that the hook-and-loop fastener 13 can be bonded to any position of the fluff layer 11. During use, the neck pillow can be formed into a suitable ring according to the neck size of the wearer, and the bonding position between the hook-and-loop fastener 13 and the fluff layer 11 can be changed according to the tightness required by the wearer, further improving the applicability of the neck pillow.

[0038] During storage, one end of the flexible outer cover 1 can be rolled toward the end with the hook-and-loop fastener 13. During the rolling process, the contact element 3 and the supporting element 2 are also compressed and rolled. When the flexible outer cover 1 is rolled into a cylindrical shape, the adjustment strap 12 is wrapped around the cylindrical shape, and then the entire cylindrical shape is fixed by the hook-and-loop fastener 13 to prevent the rolled neck pillow from expanding, thereby completing the storage of the entire neck pillow. This compressed storage method can reduce the space volume occupied by the neck pillow. In addition, a hook 15 with a locking function is fixedly mounted on the outer surface of the flexible outer cover 1. This hook 15 is a conventional hook 15 available on the market, which includes a hook portion and a rotatable baffle driven by a torsion spring.

[0039] The supporting element 2 is a belt-like structure with a radian, which is more in line with human ergonomics. Optionally, the width of the supporting element 2 gradually decreases from the middle to the left and right ends. Since the distance between the human head and shoulders varies, this gradually decreasing structure is more conducive to the support of the supporting element 2 for the head, further improving comfort.

[0040] A recessed groove 22 is formed at the middle position of the top of the supporting element 2, and a pair of supporting portions 23 extend upward from the top of the supporting element 2. The pair of supporting portions 23 are located on the left and right sides of the groove 22. When worn, the groove 22 is more suitable for situations where the head is tilted back or lowered. Since the neck is generally cylindrical, the bottom of the groove 22 can be more effectively attached to the neck, ensuring a large contact area between the supporting element 2 and the neck, avoiding point contact, and improving comfort. The supporting portions 23 on both sides can limit the deflection position of the head, avoiding compression of blood vessels or nerves caused by poor sitting posture.

[0041] Optionally, each protrusion 31 is one or a combination of two or more of a cylinder, a cone, a pyramid, and a prism, and the top surface of the protrusion 31 is a spherical surface. This enables the protrusion 31 to form a relatively large contact surface with the neck as much as possible, improving wearing comfort. In addition, the height and cross-sectional area of the protrusions 31 can be selected according to actual conditions, and they may all be equal, all unequal, or partially equal.

[0042] Compared with the prior art, the neck pillow of this disclosure, the hook-and-loop fastener 13 can be bonded to any position of the fluff layer 11, enabling the neck pillow to form rings of different sizes, which is suitable for necks of different thicknesses or can provide different tightness degrees for the wearer, thus having strong applicability. In addition, during storage, the entire neck pillow can be rolled up and fixed by the hook-and-loop fastener 13 to achieve a compressed storage effect, reducing the space volume occupied by the neck pillow, which is more conducive to portability and storage, and solving the problem of difficult storage in the prior art. The hardness of the contact element 3 is lower than that of the supporting element 2. The supporting element 2 has relatively high hardness and can play a role in supporting and bearing; while the contact element 3 has relatively low hardness, which can fill the concave part of the neck, improve the fit between the neck pillow and the neck, and enhance the wearing comfort of the neck pillow, solving the problem of poor wearing comfort in the prior art. The contact element 3 is provided with a plurality of protrusions 31 arranged at intervals, forming air guide grooves. During use, gaps are left between the protrusions 31, which can avoid the sense of oppression caused by flat fitting, reduce the oppression on the blood vessels and nerves of the neck, and further improve wearing comfort. The air guide grooves can enhance the breathability of the neck pillow and avoid the problem of sweating due to long-term wearing.

[0043] In actual use, the fabric of the neck pillow that is attached to the neck is called the inner lining, and the fabric that faces away from the neck is called the outer lining. Since the contact element 3 is arranged at the middle position of the supporting element 2, and the contact element 3 is provided with protrusions 31 protruding from its surface, the combination of the contact element 3 and the supporting element 2 forms a filling with a raised middle part and flat ends. After the supporting element 2 and the contact element 3 are combined and filled into the flexible outer cover 1, since the width of the inner lining and the outer lining of the flexible outer cover 1 are both the same as the width of the supporting element of the filling, the inner lining of the flexible outer cover will force the middle part (protrusions 31) of the filling to be over-compressed, causing the protrusions 31 of the contact element 3 to gradually lose their due elasticity and softness, affecting the wearing comfort of the neck pillow and resulting in a short service life. This disclosure solves the above technical problem by improving the structure of the flexible outer cover 1.

[0044] Referring to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, the flexible outer cover 1 includes an outer lining fabric (the fluff layer 11) and an inner lining fabric 10. A cavity for accommodating the filling is formed between the outer lining fabric and the inner lining fabric 10, and the filling is placed in the cavity. During use, the inner lining fabric 10 is attached to the human neck, while the outer lining fabric faces away from the human neck. It can be understood that the inner lining fabric 10 is the inner side, and the outer lining fabric is the outer side. The outer peripheral edge of the outer lining fabric is fixedly connected to the outer peripheral edge of the inner lining fabric 10 by sewing.

[0045] The outer lining fabric and the inner lining fabric 10 may be fixedly connected by other means such as adhesion or heat pressing. In addition, the material of the outer lining fabric and the material of the inner lining fabric 10 may be the same or different, and specific fabrics can be selected according to actual needs.

[0046] The inner lining fabric 10 includes a left fabric 101, a middle fabric 102, and a right fabric 103 fixedly connected in sequence from left to right. The middle fabric 102 is connected to the left fabric 101 by sewing, and the middle fabric 102 is connected to the right fabric 103 by sewing. The width of the left fabric 101 is the same as the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position, and the width of the right fabric 103 is the same as the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position, while the width of the middle fabric 102 is greater than the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position; alternatively, the width of the left fabric 101 is greater than the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position by a certain margin, and the width of the right fabric 103 is greater than the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position by a certain margin, but the width of the middle fabric 102 is greater than the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position by a larger margin.

[0047] For example, the width of the left fabric 101 is 110% of the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position, the width of the right fabric 103 is 110% of the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position, and the width of the middle fabric 102 is 130%-150% of the width of the supporting element at its corresponding position. During use, after the filling is assembled and filled into the flexible outer cover 1, since the middle fabric is wider than the left fabric and the right fabric relative to the supporting element at the corresponding position, in the direction perpendicular to the plane where the inner lining fabric is located, the thickness of the middle part of the flexible outer cover 1 (the position corresponding to the middle fabric 102) is greater than the thickness of the two sides (the positions corresponding to the left fabric 101 and the right fabric 103). This leaves more accommodating space for the raised middle part (protrusions 31) of the filling, avoiding over-compression of the protrusions 31 of the filling by the flexible outer cover 1 and solving the problem of short service life in the prior art.

[0048] For the convenience of production, the left and right sides of the middle fabric 102 are provided with outwardly protruding limiting portions 41, and the right side of the left fabric 101 and the left side of the right fabric 103 are provided with inwardly recessed clamping grooves 42. In the assembled state, the limiting portions 41 are inserted into the corresponding clamping grooves 42. This structure enables faster positioning of the fabrics during the production process. In this embodiment, the cross-sectional shape of the limiting portions 41 is the same as that of the clamping grooves 42, and both the cross-sectional shape of the limiting portions 41 and the cross-sectional shape of the clamping grooves 42 are crescent-shaped (sector-shaped). This enables the left and right sides of the middle fabric 102 to form arc-shaped convex edges respectively, and the right side of the left fabric 101 and the left side of the right fabric 103 to form arc-shaped concave edges respectively. This structure enables the middle position of the flexible outer cover 1 to form an approximately spherical cavity, making the product more aesthetically pleasing and more comfortable to wear.

[0049] The cross-sectional shape of the limiting portions 41 and the cross-sectional shape of the clamping grooves 42 may also be set to one of a semicircular shape, a triangular shape, or a dovetail shape.

[0050] The left fabric 101, the middle fabric 102, and the right fabric 103 are fixedly connected by sewing. the three may also be fixedly connected by other means such as adhesion, heat pressing, or integral molding.

[0051] Compared with the prior art, the neck pillow of this disclosure divides the inner lining fabric 10 into three parts and increases the width of the middle fabric 102, thereby increasing the volume of the middle part of the flexible outer cover 1. It is suitable for use with fillings having a raised middle part, avoiding over-compression of the raised part of the filling by the flexible outer cover 1 and solving the problem of short service life in the prior art.

[0052] The foregoing illustrates and describes the basic principles and main features of the present disclosure and its advantages. Those skilled in the art should understand that the present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described above. The embodiments and descriptions in the specification are intended only to illustrate the principles of the present disclosure. Within the scope and spirit of the present disclosure, various modifications and improvements can be made which fall within the scope of protection defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
