Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONField of the Invention

[0001] The present invention relates to sport equipment, particularly to a skate.Description of the Prior Art

[0002] A skate enables rapid gliding on the ground through rollers disposed on the sole. Conventional skates include double-row roller skates, inline skates, and ice blade skates. Depending on different fields, environments and applications, corresponding types of skates are required. Most conventional skates, whether double-row roller skates, inline skates or ice blade skates, use screws or other fasteners to secure the wheel frame to the sole. When the wheel frame needs to be replaced or maintained, additional tools are required, and the operation process is complicated. Although some improved solutions provide partial disassembly features, the structure is either too complex or not stably secured, thereby compromising both gliding safety and convenience in replacement and maintenance.

[0003] The present invention is, therefore, arisen to obviate or at least mitigate the above-mentioned disadvantages.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The main object of the present invention is to provide a skate which allows its wheel frame to be simply and quickly assembled and replaced without additional tools, thereby converting into different types of skates easily.

[0005] To achieve the above and other objects, a skate is provided, wherein the skate includes: a shoe member including a shoe body and a sole, the sole defining a length direction and including two pins spaced apart in the length direction; a wheel frame including a first engaging slot and a second engaging slot, an end of the first engaging slot and an end of the second engaging slot being open on a surface of the wheel frame, the first engaging slot including a bottom wall and a blocking portion, the blocking portion extending in the length direction; a locking mechanism movably disposed on the wheel frame and releasably extending within the second engaging slot; and a gliding member disposed on the wheel frame; wherein the two pins are respectively received in the first engaging slot and the second engaging slot, one of the two pins being blocked by the blocking portion in a blocking direction, the blocking direction being a direction in which the wheel frame faces the sole, and an other of the two pins being blocked by the locking mechanism in the blocking direction.

[0014] Please refer to FIGS. 1 to 7 for an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. A skate 1 of the present invention includes a shoe member 10, a wheel frame 20, a locking mechanism 30, and a gliding member 40.

[0015] The shoe member 10 includes a shoe body 11 and a sole 12. The sole 12 defines a length direction D1 and includes two pins 121 spaced apart in the length direction D1. The wheel frame 20 includes a first engaging slot 21 and a second engaging slot 22. One end of the first engaging slot 21 and one end of the second engaging slot 22 are open on a surface of the wheel frame 20. The first engaging slot 21 includes a bottom wall 211 and a blocking portion 212, and the blocking portion 212 extends in the length direction D1. The locking mechanism 30 is movably disposed on the wheel frame 20 and releasably extends within the second engaging slot 22. The gliding member 40 is disposed on the wheel frame 20. In this embodiment, the gliding member 40 includes inline rollers. However, the gliding member 40 may include double-row rollers (FIG. 8) or an ice blade (FIG. 9). The two pins 121 are respectively received in the first engaging slot 21 and the second engaging slot 22. One of the pins 121 is blocked by the blocking portion 212 in a blocking direction D2, wherein the blocking direction D2 is a direction in which the wheel frame 20 faces the sole 12. The other pin 121 is blocked by the locking mechanism 30 in the blocking direction D2. As such, the wheel frame 20 can be simply and quickly assembled or disassembled without additional tools, allowing fast conversion into different types of skates.

[0016] Preferably, the sole 12 further includes a blocking shoulder 122, and the wheel frame 20 further includes a restriction shoulder 23. The blocking shoulder 122 and the restriction shoulder 23 are configured to block each other in the length direction D1, thereby improving stability. The locking mechanism 30 extends to be between one of the pins 121 and the blocking shoulder 122, and the blocking shoulder 122 covers a portion of the second engaging slot 22, providing reliable locking and support.

[0017] In this embodiment, the first engaging slot 21 is an L-shaped slot, enhancing the blocking effect for the pin 121; the second engaging slot 22 is an elongated straight slot, facilitating insertion of the pin 121; the sole 12 further includes at least one blocking projection 123 protruding toward the wheel frame 20, the wheel frame 20 further includes at least one restriction protrusion 24 disposed on the blocking portion 212, and the at least one restriction protrusion 24 blocks the at least one blocking projection 123 in the length direction D1, enhancing blocking strength and effectiveness between the wheel frame 20 and the sole 12. The at least one restriction protrusion 24 at least partially shields the first engaging slot 21, reliably blocking the pin 121.

[0018] Specifically, the shoe body 11 includes a toe shell 111 and a blocking member 112. The toe shell 111 is adjustably disposed between the blocking member 112 and the sole 12. The sole 12 further includes an elastic positioning mechanism 125 operable from an outside of the shoe member 10. The toe shell 111 includes a toothed row 113, and the elastic positioning mechanism 125 includes at least one tooth 126. The at least one tooth 126 is releasably engaged with the toothed row 113. Specifically, the locking mechanism 30 includes a knob 31, a shaft 32, an elastic member 33 and a blocking member 34. The blocking member 34 and the shaft 32 are connected to each other and are movably inserted in the wheel frame 20. The elastic member 33 is disposed between the blocking member 34 and the wheel frame 20 to allow the blocking member 34 to automatically return. The blocking member 34 extends within the second engaging slot 22 and blocks one of the pins 121 in the blocking direction D2. The knob 31 is connected to the shaft 32 and exposed outside the wheel frame 20. By operating the knob 31, the user can adjust the position of the toe shell 111 according to various sizes of feet.

[0019] Preferably, the wheel frame 20 further includes a channel 25 in communication with the second engaging slot 22, and a shaft hole 26 penetrating through a lateral side of the wheel frame 20. The blocking member 34 is movably disposed in the channel 25. The shaft 32 is disposed through the shaft hole 26. The wheel frame 20 further includes an opening 27 in communication with the channel 25, and the opening 27 corresponds to at least a portion of the elastic member 33. This design facilitates assembly, replacement, and maintenance.

[0020] Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
