Description

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURETECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present disclosure relates to an edge binding device used for sewing, especially to an edge binding device used for sewing and a multidirectional adjustable hemming device thereof.DESCRIPTION OF RELATED ART

[0002] A related-art edge binding technique is often required when a textile product, such as a cloth, a bedding product or an accessory, is fabricated. The edge binding technique may adopt a hemming device for assistance, and thus a binding tape may be smoothly sewed at an edge of the textile product, such as the cloth, the bedding product or the accessory via the hemming device. As such, the edge binding efficiency of the binding tape is greatly increased.

[0003] However, an edge binding performance is hard to control when the related-art hemming device is applied at a bent area or an area having a great curvature. A feeding direction of the binding tape is easily affected by a thickness of a fabric or a radius of the curvature, and thus the feeding direction is frequently adjusted during the sewing process and risks of making mistakes may be increased. The binding tape may be accumulated because the hemming device is disposed too close to a presser foot, and thus the sewing stitches may be ununified or even broken.

[0004] Moreover, a higher sewing precision is especially required at an area having a great curvature or at a curved area with a small radius; the constant changes at the bending directions require the sewing equipment to rapidly adjust the direction of the sewing stitches to make sure the sewing stitches are unified and closely matched with the designed route. As such, how to develop a hemming device having a function of precisely adjusting the location of the binding tape in a multidirectional manner shall be improved.

[0005] Accordingly, the applicant of the present disclosure has devoted himself to improve the mentioned issues.SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

[0006] An objective of the present disclosure is to provide an edge binding device used for sewing and a multidirectional adjustable hemming device thereof, in which an upper adjustable hemming member and a lower adjustable hemming member have a function of adjusting an inward hemmed dimension, such as a stitching length and a thickness, of a binding tape, and thus the operation convenience of the multidirectional adjustable hemming device is facilitated.

[0007] In order to achieve the above objective, the present disclosure provides an edge binding device used for sewing, which includes: a fasten seat including a needle threading hole, and a multidirectional adjustable hemming device including a hemming body adjustably fastened on the fasten seat and having a hemming guide slot and a distal port disposed at a distal end of the hemming guide slot and located corresponding to the needle threading hole; an upper adjustable hemming member disposed in an upper segment of the hemming guide slot and fastened with the hemming body in a manner of a location thereof relative to the distal port being adjustable to be closer to or farther from the distal port; and a lower adjustable hemming member disposed in a lower segment of the hemming guide slot and fastened with the hemming body in a manner of a location thereof relative to the distal port being adjustable to be closer to or farther from the distal port.

[0008] In order to achieve the above objective, the present disclosure provides a multidirectional adjustable hemming device, which is applied on a fasten seat and includes: a hemming body adjustably fastened on the fasten seat and having a hemming guide slot and a distal port disposed at a distal end of the hemming guide slot; an upper adjustable hemming member disposed in an upper segment of the hemming guide slot and fastened with the hemming body in a manner of a location thereof relative to the distal port being adjustable to be closer to or farther from the distal port; and a lower adjustable hemming member disposed in a lower segment of the hemming guide slot and fastened with the hemming body in a manner of a location thereof relative to the distal port being adjustable to be closer to or farther from the distal port.

[0009] Based on what has been disclosed above, the present disclosure has following advantages. The upper adjustable hemming member is disposed in a manner of the location thereof relative to the distal port being adjustable to be closer to or farther from the distal port, and thus a caliber of a through hole defined by being surrounded by the upper adjustable hemming member, the hemming guide slot and the distal port controls a size and a thickness of a top edge of a binding tape to be inwardly hemmed. The lower adjustable hemming member is disposed in a manner of the location thereof relative to the distal port being adjustable to be closer to or farther from the distal port, and thus a caliber of a through hole defined by being surrounded by the lower adjustable hemming member, the hemming guide slot and the distal port controls a size and a thickness of a bottom edge of the binding tape to be inwardly hemmed, and thus the multidirectional adjustable hemming device is provided with effects of adjusting dimensions, such as the stitching length and the thickness, of the binding tape being inwardly hemmed, and the operation convenience of the multidirectional adjustable hemming device is facilitated, and a situation of a different inward hemming dimension of the binding tape requiring a placement of a different hemming device is avoided.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
