[0027] Referring to FIGS. 1-7, the present disclosure provides a split-type handle for a beach umbrella, including an outer handle portion 1, an inner handle portion 2 and an engagement mechanism 3. The outer handle portion 1 is engaged with the inner handle portion 2. The outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2 are configured, as a whole, to be rotatably connected to an umbrella shaft 5 of the beach umbrella. The engagement mechanism 3 is arranged at an engagement position between the outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2. The outer handle portion 1 is engaged with the inner handle portion 2 through the engagement mechanism 3 to achieve positioning.
[0028] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 6, the outer handle portion 1 includes a holding section 11 and a connecting section 12. Outer surfaces of the holding section 11 and the inner handle portion 2 are each provided with an anti-slip recess 7. The connecting section 12 is arranged an end of the outer handle portion 1 close to the inner handle portion 2. An inner diameter of the connecting section 12 is configured to fit an outer diameter of the inner handle portion 2. The holding section 11 is configured for being held by a user. An inner diameter of the holding section 11 is slightly greater than an outer diameter of the umbrella shaft 5, so as to allow an overall assembly to closely fit the umbrella shaft 5 when the split-type handle is not in use, thereby reducing the occupied space.
[0029] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 4-5, the engagement mechanism 3 includes a pair of protruding blocks 32 and a pair of recessed grooves 31, where the pair of protruding blocks 32 is arranged on an inner wall of the connecting section 12, and the pair of recessed grooves 31 is arranged on an outer wall of the inner handle portion 2. The pair of protruding blocks 32 and the pair of recessed grooves 31 are symmetrically arranged along a circumferential direction of the umbrella shaft 5.
[0030] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 2-3, the connecting section 12 is provided with a pair of first connecting holes 4, the inner handle portion 2 is provided with a pair of second connecting holes 4, and the umbrella shaft 5 is provided with a pair of third connecting holes 4, where the pair of third connecting holes 4 is configured to fit the pair of first connecting holes 4 and the pair of second connecting holes 4 in position and size. After the outer handle portion 1 is engaged with the inner handle portion 2 through the engagement mechanism 3, the pair of third connecting holes 4 of the umbrella shaft 5 is configured to align with the pair of first connecting holes 4 of the connecting section 12 and the pair of second connecting holes 4 of the inner handle portion 2. The outer handle portion 1, the inner handle portion 2 and the umbrella shaft 5 are rotatably connected to each other through a pivot pin passing through the pair of first connecting holes 4 of the connecting section 12, the pair of second connecting holes 4 of the inner handle portion 2 and the pair of third connecting holes 4 of the umbrella shaft 5. An axis of the pivot pin is configured to form a relative rotational axis of the split-type handle and the umbrella shaft 5.
[0031] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 3, an outer wall of the connecting section 12 is provided with an annular protective flange 13 located around each of the pair of first connecting holes 4 of the connecting section 12, where the annular protective flange 13 is integrally formed with the connecting section 12. The annular protective flange 13 is configured to extend outward to form a low annular cavity with a depth sufficient to completely accommodate a head portion of the pivot pin, thereby avoiding exposure of sharp components and enhancing safety.
[0032] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 2, the split-type handle for the beach umbrella further includes a cover 6 configured for being fitted onto an inner wall of the annular protective flange 13. Such a fitting configuration between the cover 6 and the annular protective flange 13 completely conceals the pair of first connecting holes 4 of the connecting section 12 and the head portion of the pivot pin, resulting in a neat and aesthetically pleasing appearance at a tail end of the split-type handle and effectively preventing sand, dust and moisture from intruding into an inner structure of the fitting configuration.
[0033] During assembly, the outer handle portion 1, the inner handle portion 2 and the umbrella shaft 5 are aligned with each other according to positions of the pair of first connecting holes 4, the pair of second connecting holes 4 and the pair of third connecting holes 4, such that the inner handle portion 2 is enabled to face toward the inner wall of the outer handle portion 1. A recessed groove 31 on the inner handle portion 2 is aligned with a protruding block 32 on the connecting section 12, then pushing axially inward. When the protruding block 32 slides into and is engaged with the recessed groove 31, the outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2 achieve preliminary positioning and circumferential fixation, so as to prevent the outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2 from relative rotation. Subsequently, the pivot pin is sequentially inserted through the pair of first connecting holes 4 of the outer handle portion 1, the pair of second connecting holes 4 of the inner handle portion 2 and the pair of third connecting holes 4 of the umbrella shaft 5 to connect the outer handle portion 1, the inner handle portion 2 and the umbrella shaft 5 with each other, such that the outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2 are allowed to rotate relative to the umbrella shaft 5.
[0034] During use, the outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2 are rotated, such that a line connecting an end of the outer handle portion 1 and an end of the inner handle portion 2 is perpendicular to an axis of the umbrella shaft 5. When using a push-in type beach umbrella, the outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2 are simultaneously gripped to insert or withdraw the umbrella shaft 5 into or from the sand, so as to complete the fixation or movement of the beach umbrella. When using a screw-in beach umbrella, the outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2 are rotated about the axis of the umbrella shaft 5, thereby driving the umbrella shaft 5 to rotate. Consequently, an anchor at a lower end of the umbrella shaft 5 is screwed into or out of the sand to complete the fixation or movement of the beach umbrella. After use, the outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2 are rotated again such that inner walls of the outer handle portion 1 and the inner handle portion 2 closely fit an outer wall of the umbrella shaft 5.
