CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202522153308.6, filed on Oct. 11, 2025, and Chinese Patent Application No. 202522753387.4, filed on Dec. 25, 2025, which are hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety.TECHNICAL FIELD

[0002] The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of hair dryer accessories, and specifically relates to a flow guiding structure for a hair dryer diffuser.BACKGROUND

[0003] As daily beauty and hair care appliances, hair dryers are widely used in household and professional hairdressing scenarios. To enhance the comfort of hair drying, most hair dryers are equipped with diffuser nozzles. The diffuser nozzle is typically installed at an air outlet, and an intensity of high-speed airflow directly impacting the hair is reduced by expanding an airflow cross-section and guiding diffused flow of the airflow, such that softer and more uniform air output is achieved, thereby reducing hair cuticle damage and improving the hair drying experience. The diffuser nozzle has become an important accessory for mid-to-high-end hair dryers.

[0004] Currently, the diffuser nozzle is provided with a flow guiding structure to enhance the uniformity of air output. For example, Chinese Patent Application No. CN221129110U discloses a diffuser nozzle, flow guiding ribs are disposed in an airflow chamber, and a concave-convex structure formed by the flow guiding ribs on an air guide housing is capable of dispersing the airflow, such that the airflow is distributed evenly in the air guide housing, but linear air guiding results in a relatively high flow velocity and short residence time in the chamber, which may lead to insufficient pressure in the chamber or relatively low local pressure, and further uneven air output from air holes; and Chinese Patent Application No. CN220494469U discloses a hair dryer and nozzle, and a structure in which an air guiding portion is disposed between an air inlet member and an air guiding member for guiding the airflow, but the air guiding member only serves to adjust air volumes of different areas, consistent air pressure at air outlet holes in each area during simultaneous air output cannot be ensured, and the airflow is discharged in a direct-blow manner, thereby easily resulting in a large air volume of a central area, a small air volume of a peripheral area, and uneven airflow distribution.SUMMARY(1) Technical Problems to be Solved

[0037] In order to make the objectives, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present disclosure clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below in combination with the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure. Apparently, the embodiments described are merely some rather than all of the embodiments of the present disclosure. Based on the embodiments of the present disclosure, all the other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art without making creative efforts shall fall within the scope of protection of the present disclosure.

[0038] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 15; and

[0039] as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a flow guiding structure for a hair dryer diffuser is disclosed in the present disclosure, including an outer shell 1 and an inner shell 2 that are detachably connected and enclosed to form an air chamber 11, and both the inner shell 2 and the outer shell 1 have a “bowl-shaped” structure; specifically, the outer shell 1 has a first bowl-shaped recess 13, the inner shell 2 has a second bowl-shaped recess 23, and a depth of the first bowl-shaped recess 13 is greater than a depth of the second bowl-shaped recess 23; and thus, after the outer shell 1 and the inner shell 2 are aligned and snap-fitted for assembly, a space adapted to airflow diffusion is enclosed between the outer shell and the inner shell, where the space forms the air chamber 11, and the air chamber 11 is arranged in an annular through manner, to facilitate heat storage and uniform distribution, and prevent uneven air output caused by excessive local air pressure. A comb teeth assembly 3 is disposed on a side of the inner shell 2 away from the outer shell 1, that is, the comb teeth assembly 3 is disposed in the second bowl-shaped recess 23, and an interior of the comb teeth assembly 3 has a hollow structure and communicates with the air chamber 11; and the outer shell 1 is provided with an air inlet 12, and the inner shell 2 is provided with an air outlet set 21, where the air inlet 12, the air outlet set 21, and the air chamber 11 communicate with each other, and after entering from the air inlet 12, an airflow flows out through the air chamber 11 and the air outlet set 21 sequentially to act on hair, where the airflow is hot airflow provided by a main body of a hair dryer.

[0040] To ensure uniform air output from the air outlet set 21, a first flow guiding structure 4 is disposed in the air chamber 11 at a position close to the air inlet 12, the first flow guiding structure 4 includes a plurality of arc-shaped first flow guiding plates 41, and the plurality of arc-shaped first flow guiding plates 41 are arranged in a surrounding manner, such that an airflow entering the air chamber 11 diffuses spirally, thereby ensuring that an airflow flows through all parts of the air chamber 11 and preventing uneven air pressure distribution caused by airflow concentration in an area directly opposite to the air inlet 12; and especially when a hot air function of the hair dryer is activated, spiral flow guiding prolongs residence time of the airflow in the air chamber 11, and a flow velocity slows down when an airflow path changes circuitously, such that functions of the “hair dryer diffuser” such as low-speed flow, heat storage and temperature rise, uniform heat dissipation, and hair heating are fully exerted, thereby ensuring both an air volume and uniform heat, preventing burning discomfort caused by excessively high local temperature, improving the styling effect and efficiency, and enabling a better use experience for a user.

[0041] Specifically, we obtained data supporting the inventive concept through an experiment, that is, under the same hot air supply conditions, Scheme A with the first flow guiding structure 4 was compared with Scheme B without the first flow guiding structure 4, where Scheme A has two advantages: first, an average temperature of all air outlet holes in Scheme A is 111.7 °C, which is 7.7 °C higher than an average temperature (104 °C) of all air outlet holes in Scheme B; second, maximum and minimum temperatures of the air outlet holes in Scheme A are 119.5 °C and 104.2 °C respectively, with a maximum temperature difference of 15.3 °C; and maximum and minimum temperatures of the air outlet holes in Scheme B are 116.8 °C and 89.3 °C respectively, with a maximum temperature difference of 27.5 °C, that is, compared with that of Scheme B, the maximum temperature difference of Scheme A is reduced by 12.2 °C, which improves the average temperature of all air outlet holes and reduces the maximum temperature difference, thereby maximizing the thermal effect of the hair dryer diffuser in drying hair and achieving the objective of the present disclosure.

[0042] Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4, both ends of each of the first flow guiding plates 41 are integrally connected to or abut against the inner shell 2 and the outer shell 1 respectively, every two adjacent first flow guiding plates 41, together with the inner shell 2 and the outer shell 1, enclose to form a first air duct 42, and an extension direction of the first air duct 42 is consistent with an arc-shaped direction of the first flow guiding plates 41.

[0043] Since the first flow guiding plates 41 are arc-shaped, the first air ducts 42 are also arc-shaped, such that the first air ducts 42 are combined to form a spiral flow guiding shape, which enables progressive guide of the airflow, prevents excessive wind resistance caused by sudden airflow turning, and reduces airflow noise; each of the first flow guiding plates 41 further enhances structural support and separation between the inner shell 2 and the outer shell 1, enhancing structural stability; and

[0044] To further optimize an air output state, the inner shell 2 is provided with a shielding surface 22 at a position corresponding to the air inlet 12, the first flow guiding plates 41 are at least partially located on the shielding surface 22, and the shielding surface 22 is configured to block and divert an airflow entering from the air inlet 12 and prevent high-temperature airflow from being directly blown out to scald the user, so as to promote high-speed centrifugal rotation of the airflow in the air chamber 11, such that the airflow is diverted into the first air ducts 42 between the first flow guiding plates 41 and diffuses toward a periphery of the air chamber 11 along an arc-shaped contour of the first flow guiding plates 41, and during the flow process, the airflow gradually fills the entire annular air chamber 11, thereby achieving uniform distribution of air pressure in the air chamber 11.

[0045] In practical applications, an extension length of the first flow guiding plates 41 may be freely adjusted according to actual needs, that is, the first flow guiding plates 41 may extend or shorten equally, or two adjacent first flow guiding plates 41 may vary in length (long and short alternately) (as shown in FIG. 5), to meet air output requirements of hair dryers with different powers and ensure consistent stability of spiral diffusion effect.

[0046] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 8, an arc-shaped notch 411 is formed on a side of each of the first flow guiding plates 41 close to the outer shell 1, and the arc-shaped notch 411 is adapted to an arc-shaped inner wall of the outer shell 1 to adapt to assembly tolerances, and prevent failure of alignment and snap-fit engagement between the outer shell 1 and the inner shell 2 during assembly due to an excessively large processing length of the first flow guiding plate 41, so as to ensure smooth assembly.

[0047] In some embodiments, each of the first flow guiding plates 41 is integrally formed with the inner shell 2 or the outer shell 1, which not only facilitates disassembly and assembly, but also reduces processing difficulty and production cost, enhances structural integrity, prevents easy breakage or deformation, and prolongs the service life.

[0048] As shown in FIG. 6, in other embodiments, each of the first flow guiding plates 41 is integrally formed and detachably connected to the inner shell 2 or the outer shell 1, where the connection includes but is not limited to snap-fit connection, threaded connection, or adhesive bonding. Specifically, an end of each of the first flow guiding plates 41 close to the shielding surface 22 is connected to a hub 43, and the hub 43 connects each of the first flow guiding plates 41 to form an integral structure, and the hub 43 is integrally formed with each of the first flow guiding plates 41. A groove 221 adapted to each of the first flow guiding plates 41 is formed respectively on a side of the shielding surface 22 facing the outer shell 1, and an end of each of the first flow guiding plates 41 is located in the corresponding groove 221 and abutted against or connected to the groove 221, such that precise positioning with the outer shell 1 is achieved through the groove 221, thereby preventing displacement of the first flow guiding plates 41 during flow guiding and ensuring the stability of spiral flow guiding; and then through the assembly of the inner shell 2 and the outer shell 1, each of the first flow guiding plates 41 is limited and fixed in the air chamber 11.

[0049] Additionally, in the above embodiments, to further enhance stability of connection between the first flow guiding plates 41 and the inner shell 2 or the outer shell 1, a first connection hole 431 is formed in a center of the hub 43, a second connection hole 222 is formed on the shielding surface 22, and during assembly, the inner shell 2 and each of the first flow guiding plates 41 are threadedly connected and fixed by a bolt that passes through the second connection hole 222 and the first connection hole 431 sequentially, thereby further preventing rotation of the first flow guiding plates 41 caused by airflow impact.

[0050] Further, as shown in FIGS. 1, 2, and 4, the air outlet set 21 includes a plurality of first air outlet holes 211 and second air outlet holes 212 arranged in an annular array, and the second air outlet holes 212 are located around a periphery of the first air outlet holes 211; in this embodiment, the first air outlet holes 211 are circular small holes and intensively disposed between the shielding surface 22 and the second air outlet holes 212, and a plurality of the first air outlet holes are formed in an annular array; and since a wind speed and air volume in a middle of the inner shell 2 are relatively large, the intensively arranged first air outlet holes 211 enable rapid and uniform air output, stabilizing air pressure in the middle of the inner shell 2. A spacing between two adjacent second air outlet holes 212 is larger than a spacing between two adjacent first air outlet holes 211, and an air outlet area of each of the second air outlet holes 212 is larger than an air outlet area of each of the first air outlet holes 211 to cooperatively adapt to a larger space at the periphery of the air chamber 11, achieve air output at a larger air volume, and ensure sufficient air output from the periphery of the inner shell 2, thereby achieving more uniform air output of the entire diffuser and preventing the uneven situation of strong air output in the middle and weak air output at the periphery.

[0051] Further, a second flow guiding structure 5 is further disposed between the inner shell 2 and the outer shell 1 at a position close to the second air outlet holes 212, the second flow guiding structure 5 includes second flow guiding plates 51 obliquely disposed on both sides of the second air outlet holes 212, and a second air duct 52 corresponding to an air outlet direction of the second air outlet holes 212 is formed between every two second flow guiding plates 51.

[0052] As shown in FIG. 7, when the spirally flowing airflow in the air chamber 11 flows to a position of the air chamber 11 close to its periphery, the second flow guiding structure 5 performs secondary flow guiding on the airflow close to the periphery of the air chamber, such that the airflow flows into the second air duct 52 and then directly flows toward the second air outlet holes 212 along the obliquely arranged second flow guiding plates 51, and the airflow discharged from the second air outlet holes 212 flows out in a way of rotating in a spiral direction, thereby ensuring that the airflow at each position in the air chamber 11 is effectively guided, preventing formation of turbulent flow caused by accumulation of airflow at the periphery of the air chamber 11, and further reducing air output noise; and it is ensured that the airflow from the second air outlet holes 212 also remains in a spiral state, such that the airflow comes into contact with the hair in a “wrapping” state to reduce impact damage to the hair, and rotation guidance of the spiral airflow enables natural stretching of the hair in a spiral direction, which prevents hair flyaway or tangling caused by direct blowing, and improves smoothness of hair drying. It should be noted that the first flow guiding structure 4 promotes centrifugal spiral flow of high-temperature airflow, and the second flow guiding structure 5 promotes centripetal spiral flow of high-temperature airflow.

[0053] In this embodiment, every two second flow guiding plates 51 are integrally formed with the inner shell 2 to enhance connection strength between the second flow guiding plates 51 and the inner shell 2.

[0054] In this embodiment, the second air outlet holes 212 are square holes at least partially formed at an inner edge of the inner shell 2 close to its end portion, and generally designed for lateral air output; and therefore, arrangement of the second flow guiding structure 5 ensures that the airflow laterally discharged from the second air outlet holes 212 still remains in a spiral state, prevents inconsistency in airflow diffusion direction and requirements caused by direct radial air output, and enables the airflow to better fit the hair, thereby improving the effect of drying and styling.

[0055] In some embodiments, when overall depths of the first bowl-shaped recess 13 and the second bowl-shaped recess 23 are relatively large, the second air outlet holes 212 are capable of extending outward from an end close to the first air outlet holes 211 to an end portion of the inner shell 2, such that the second air outlet holes 212 are integrally elongated (as shown in FIG. 6), which not only increases the air outlet area at the edge, but also causes more intensive discharge of less airflow at the edge from the second air outlet holes 212, thereby further increasing a volume of airflow discharge at the edge.

[0056] Further, as shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, the comb teeth assembly 3 is integrally formed with the inner shell 2, and includes a plurality of outer comb teeth 31 and inner comb teeth 32 arranged in an annular array, and the outer comb teeth 31 and the inner comb teeth 32 are arranged in an inner-and-outer annular manner, where the outer comb teeth 31 are located at an outer ring, and the inner comb teeth 32 are located at an inner ring and outside the shielding surface 22. It should be noted that since the second bowl-shaped recess 23 has a height difference, extends outward from a center, and rises gradually, a position of the outer comb teeth 31 at the outer ring is compared with a position of the inner comb teeth 32 in combination with their own lengths, and the outer comb teeth 31 are higher than the inner comb teeth 32, that is, a distance from an end face of the outer comb teeth 31 to a bottom end of the outer shell 1 is defined as a first height 33, and a distance from an end face of the inner comb teeth 32 to the bottom end of the outer shell 1 is defined as a third height 34, where the first height 33>the third height 34; and thus, no matter whether lengths of the outer comb teeth 31 are greater than, equal to, or less than lengths of the inner comb teeth 32, the outer comb teeth 31 at a current position are still higher than the inner comb teeth 32 at the current position, and a state of “high outside and low inside” is formed, which better adapts to a contour of the bowl-shaped structure, such that after being inserted into the hair, the comb teeth support the hair together with a concave contour of the inner shell 2, thereby facilitating shaping of voluminous and curly hairstyles and preventing the hair from clinging to the scalp.

[0057] Further, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 12, first ejection ports 311 are disposed on both sides of the outer comb teeth 31, and the first ejection ports 311 of every two adjacent outer comb teeth 31 are arranged opposite to each other; and in the present embodiment, the number of the outer comb teeth 31 is twelve, the twelve outer comb teeth 31 are uniformly spaced apart from each other in an annular manner, the number of the first ejection ports 311 is twenty-four, the airflow ejected by the twenty-four first ejection ports 311 forms an airflow ring, and the airflow ejected by every two opposite first ejection ports 311 collides and then disperses radially, thereby increasing an effective area of the airflow ring and improving heat dissipation uniformity. As shown in the figures, top ends of the outer comb teeth 31 are blocked rather than straight-through, such that the airflow from the outer comb teeth 31 flows in a front-rear direction first and then flows into the airflow ring from the first ejection ports 311 on both sides.

[0058] Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, second ejection ports 321 are disposed on both sides of upper ends of the inner comb teeth 32, and the second ejection ports 321 are radially arranged with respect to a central axis L, where the central axis L is an overall central axis of the diffuser, that is, each of the inner comb teeth 32 is provided with two second ejection ports 321 arranged radially opposite to each other along the inner shell 2, including an ejection port I 3211 capable of airflow ejection in a centrifugal and divergent manner, and an ejection port II 3212 capable of airflow ejection in a centripetal and convergent manner, where an opening depth H2 of the ejection port II 3212 is greater than an opening depth H1 of the ejection port I 3211, to ensure that an area near the second bowl-shaped recess 23 where the shielding surface 22 is located is filled with airflow and heat, while the centrifugal ejection port I 3211 is configured to compensate for the airflow and heat between the inner comb teeth 32 and the corresponding outer comb teeth 31 radially arranged.

[0059] In the present embodiment, with reference to FIG. 9, a distance from an outer peripheral end face of the inner shell 2 to an end face of the air inlet 12 is defined as a second height 35, and a distance from a position of the second air outlet holes 212 to the end face of the air inlet 12 is defined as a fourth height 36, where the first height 33>the second height 35, and the third height 34>the fourth height 36; an end face where the first ejection ports 311 are located is higher than a peripheral end face of the inner shell 2; since the outer comb teeth 31 first come into contact with the hair and scalp, the outer comb teeth 31 are disposed at the outer ring and provided with the first ejection ports 311 at end portions thereof, such that other remaining airflow is discharged from the first ejection ports 311, which not only ensures airflow flow at hair roots, enables to apply hot air to the hair roots, and facilitates voluminous styling, but also prevents excessive heat at the hair roots from scalding the scalp; additionally, since the outer comb teeth 31 are located at the hair roots and may block the first ejection ports 311, the first height 33 is set to be greater than the second height 35, such that the outer peripheral end face of the inner shell 2 does not come into contact with the scalp, thereby leaving a ventilation space for gas discharge, which further prevents excessive heat accumulation in the hair roots that may scald the scalp; and arrangement of the third height 34 and the fourth height 36 enables layered airflow output, and air output and heat dissipation at different height positions.

[0060] As shown in FIG. 13, in some embodiments, when depths of the first bowl-shaped recess 13 and the second bowl-shaped recess 23 are relatively large and an overall radial size remains unchanged, if more comb assemblies 3 are disposed on the inner shell 2, a gap between the comb teeth becomes smaller and airflow circulation between the hair is poor, and in this case, the number of comb teeth may be reduced. As shown in FIG. 13, only one set of outer comb teeth 31 may be arranged on the inner shell 2 in an annular array, and to adapt to recess depth changes of the inner shell 2 and the outer shell 1, the second air outlet holes 212 are typically elongated, therefore, the second ejection ports 321 on the outer comb teeth 31 may be elongated in a way of extending axially along the outer comb teeth 31 and only disposed on a side facing the central axis L, and are configured to compensate for the airflow blocked by the shielding surface 22 at a center of the inner shell 2, thereby ensuring that the airflow is fully and uniformly distributed in the inner shell 2.

[0061] Preferably, as shown in FIG. 14, to facilitate production and processing, and reduce production cost and maintenance cost, the inner shell 2 and the outer shell 1 are detachably connected, and the connection is achieved by snap-fit connection, threaded connection, or any other method that facilitates disassembly and assembly. Specifically, in the present embodiment, an annular abutment surface 24 extends radially outward from the peripheral end face of the inner shell 2, an annular protrusion 241 is disposed on a side of the abutment surface 24 facing the outer shell 1, an arc-shaped groove 242 is formed on an outer wall of the annular protrusion 241, and an arc-shaped protrusion 14 adapted to the arc-shaped groove 242 is disposed on the inner wall of the outer shell 1. After assembly, the abutment surface 24 of the inner shell 2 covers a top end of the outer shell 1, and the annular protrusion 241 of the inner shell 2 is located in the outer shell 1 and abuts against the inner wall of the outer shell 1, such that the arc-shaped protrusion 14 is snap-fitted with the arc-shaped groove 242, thereby achieving snap-fit fixation between the outer shell 1 and the inner shell 2; and the snap-fitted connection not only achieves structural simplicity and stability and convenient disassembly and assembly, but also enhances the sealing property of connection between the inner shell 2 and the outer shell 1 and prevents airflow leakage in the air chamber 11.

[0062] As shown in FIG. 15, in the present embodiment, a mounting portion 6 butt-jointed with the air outlet of the hair dryer is further disposed on the outer shell 1 at the air inlet 12, and a detachable connection structure is disposed at the mounting portion 6, where the connection is achieved by elastic arm connection, snap-fit connection, threaded connection, or any other method, which is not limited in the present disclosure; and a method of air intake through the air inlet 12 may be adjusted according to actual applications, such as straight air intake or angled air intake.

[0063] An operating principle of the present disclosure is described in detail as follows:

[0064] In use, when a hot airflow enters the air chamber 11 from the air inlet 12, the airflow is first blocked and diverted by the shielding surface 22 to prevent high-temperature airflow from being directly blown out from a central area so as to prevent scalding the user; guided by the shielding surface 22, the airflow is diverted into the arc-shaped first air ducts 42 between the first flow guiding plates 41 and flows to the periphery of the air chamber 11 along a spiral contour of the first air ducts 42, such that the airflow gradually fills the entire annular air chamber 11, thereby ensuring uniform distribution of air pressure in the air chamber 11; and in this case, part of the airflow is discharged from the first air outlet holes 211, part of the airflow flows to the outer comb teeth 31 and inner comb teeth 32 and is discharged through the first ejection ports 311 and the second ejection ports 321, and other remaining airflow flows to the periphery of the air chamber 11;

[0065] the other remaining airflow flowing to the periphery of the air chamber 11 is subjected to secondary flow guiding by the second flow guiding structure 5, that is, the second flow guiding plates 51 obliquely disposed on the second flow guiding structure 5 guide the airflow to flow to the second air outlet holes 212 along the second air ducts 52, such that the airflow discharged from the second air outlet holes 212 still flows in the spiral direction, thereby preventing formation of turbulent flow caused by accumulation of airflow at the periphery of the air chamber, and further reducing air output noise;

[0066] the spiral flow of the airflow increases a flow path and flow time, which improves an average temperature of all the air outlet holes and reduces a maximum temperature difference, thereby maximizing the thermal effect of the hair dryer diffuser in drying hair; and

[0067] in terms of air output, part of the airflow in the central area is directly discharged through the intensively arranged first air outlet holes 211, thereby ensuring stable air pressure and uniform air output in the middle; the peripheral airflow, guided by the second flow guiding plates 51, is discharged from the second air outlet holes 212, and a large air outlet area of the second air outlet holes 212, in combination with the larger space at the periphery of the air chamber 11, ensures sufficient peripheral air output and achieves uniform air output through the entire diffuser; and layered air output from the first ejection ports 311 and the second ejection ports 321 of the inner comb teeth 32 and the outer comb teeth 31 not only enables even applying of hot air to different positions of the hair, prevents scalding of the scalp caused by local overheating, but also achieves full wrapping of the hair by hot air along the gap between the comb teeth, and improves hair drying efficiency and styling effect.

[0068] The innovation of the present disclosure lies in that the spiral first air ducts are formed by the first flow guiding plates to guide the airflow in the air chamber to spirally diffuse and flow toward the periphery of the air chamber, such that the airflow gradually fills the entire air chamber, which not only prevents uneven air pressure and scalp scalding caused by excessive concentration of central airflow, but also ensures overall air output in a spiral diffusion state; additional arrangement of the second flow guiding structure at the periphery for secondary guiding of peripheral airflow, prevents formation of turbulent flow caused by accumulation of airflow at the periphery of the air chamber, ensures uniform air output from the entire air chamber, effectively reduces air output noise, but also ensures that any discharged airflow remains in the spiral state, and the spiral airflow wraps the hair for drying, which not only reduces impact damage to the hair, but also prevents hair flyaway or tangling caused by direct blowing, facilitates shaping of voluminous, natural and curly hairstyles, and further improves the styling effect.
