Description

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] This application claims the benefit of priority from Chinese Patent Application No. 202610436860.2, filed on Apr. 3, 2026. The content of the aforementioned application, including any intervening amendments made thereto, is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.TECHNICAL FIELD

[0002] This application relates to wet wipe manufacturing, and more particularly to a wet wipe making machine.BACKGROUND

[0003] To address the problem that wet wipes are prone to deterioration and cannot be stored for a long time, some instant wipe preparation devices (wet wipe making machines) have been developed on the market. The wet wipe making machine generally includes a housing, a material storage cylinder for storing to-be-wetted compressed wipe blocks, a liquid storage module for storing a wetting liquid for wetting the compressed wipe blocks, a wetting zone where the compressed wipe blocks are wetted, a first conveying module for conveying the compressed wipe blocks from the material storage cylinder to the wetting zone, and a second conveying module for conveying the wetting liquid from the liquid storage module to the wetting zone. The material storage cylinder includes a discharge port. During operation, the compressed wipe blocks are conveyed by the first conveying module from the material storage cylinder to the wetting zone, and the wetting liquid is conveyed by the second conveying module from the liquid storage module to the wetting zone, such that the compressed wipe blocks are allowed to absorb the wetting liquid and swell in the wetting zone to form wet wipes for use.

[0004] However, the existing wet wipe making machines commonly suffer from a jamming problem at the discharge port during the actual use. Specifically, the wetting zone is generally flush with the discharge port of the material storage cylinder, such that, during the wetting process, the liquid in the wetting zone is prone to overflow or splash into the material storage cylinder due to fluctuations, thereby causing the compressed wipe blocks to absorb moisture and swell in the material storage cylinder, and further leading to a jamming failure.SUMMARY

[0005] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a reliable wet wipe making machine, which can reliably and effectively maintain the to-be-wetted compressed wipe blocks in a material storage cylinder in a dry state, thereby preventing swelling of the compressed wipe blocks due to moisture adsorption and avoiding jamming at a discharge port. Therefore, the present application can effectively solve the common problem in the existing wipe wetting making machines, such as jamming at the discharge port, allowing for improved product reliability, service life and user experience.

[0049] The present disclosure is further described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1-6, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a wipe wetting making machine, including a housing 1, a material storage cylinder 2 configured to store to-be-wetted compressed wipe blocks, a liquid storage module 3 configured to store a wetting liquid for wetting the to-be-wetted compressed wipe blocks, a wetting zone 4 configured for wetting the to-be-wetted compressed wipe blocks, a first conveying module 5 configured to convey the to-be-wetted compressed wipe blocks from the material storage cylinder 2 to the wetting zone 4, and a second conveying module 6 configured to convey the to-be-wetted wetting liquid from the liquid storage module 3 to the wetting zone 4. The material storage cylinder 2 includes a discharge port 21. The first conveying module 5 includes a material pushing plate 51 slidably connected to a side of the discharge port 21 in a horizontal direction, and a pushing power mechanism 52 configured to drive the material pushing plate 51 to slide. The pushing power mechanism 52 is provided in the housing 1. An output end of the pushing power mechanism 52 is drivably connected to the material pushing plate 51. The second conveying module 6 includes a liquid pump 61, a liquid inlet pipe 62 and a liquid outlet pipe 63. A first end of the liquid inlet pipe 62 is communicated with the liquid storage module 3, and a second end of the liquid inlet pipe 62 is communicated with an input end of the liquid pump 61. A first end of the liquid outlet pipe 63 is communicated with an output end of the liquid pump 61, and a second end of the liquid outlet pipe 63 is communicated with the wetting zone 4. Specifically, in this embodiment, the inclined wetting groove 41 is provided with a liquid inlet groove 413 and a liquid inlet hole 414. The liquid inlet groove 413 and the liquid inlet hole 414 are located below a wet wipe making button 8. The liquid outlet pipe 63 is connected to the liquid inlet hole 414, such that the wetting liquid delivered by the liquid pump 61 flows into the liquid inlet hole 414, passes through the liquid inlet groove 413, and comes into contact with the compressed wipe blocks in the inclined wetting groove 41. The wet wipe making button 8 includes a pressing portion 81 and a printed circuit board (PCB) button 82 located below the pressing portion 81. By pressing the pressing portion 81, the PCB button 82 is triggered to generate a circuit signal for wet wipe production. The pressing portion 81 is configured to cover and seal the PCB button 82 so as to prevent the wetting liquid from contacting the PCB button 82. During operation, the compressed wipe blocks in the material storage cylinder 2 are moved from an interior of the material storage cylinder 2 toward the discharge port 21 in a vertically upward direction. The wetting zone 4 is positioned vertically lower than the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2. By positioning the wetting zone 4 at a vertical position lower than that of the discharge port 21, liquid is prevented from entering the material storage cylinder 2 during the wetting process regardless of splashing or fluctuations of a liquid level, thereby ensuring that the compressed wipe blocks in the material storage cylinder 2 remain in a dry state and preventing swelling of the compressed wipe blocks due to moisture ingress and consequent jamming. In addition, an upward feeding manner for supplying the compressed wipe blocks is adopted, such that a jamming location, i.e., the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2, is positioned closer to a top of the housing 1, thereby facilitating operation and removal; clogging can be cleared merely by removing jammed compressed wipe blocks at the discharge port 21 without operating other compressed wipe blocks or the material storage cylinder 2, thereby facilitating maintenance. The wipe wetting making machine provided herein effectively solves the common problem of jamming at the discharge port 21 in existing wipe wetting making machines, significantly improves product reliability and service life, and enhances user experience.

[0050] In existing products, the wetting zone 4 is typically positioned lower than a liquid level of the liquid storage module 3. Under such a configuration, liquid in the liquid storage module 3 tends to continuously seep into the wetting zone 4 under hydrostatic pressure (potential energy) even when the machine is in a non-operating state. To address this issue, a valve is typically provided in a liquid flow path between the liquid storage module 3 and the wetting zone 4 to prevent liquid leakage. However, the valve is also subject to failure risks, since impurities such as fine fibers and scale particles commonly contained in the liquid may adhere to a sealing surface of the valve, resulting in incomplete valve closure and thus liquid leakage. In the present disclosure, the wetting zone 4 is positioned vertically higher than a liquid level of the liquid storage module 3 in an operating state. By positioning the wetting zone 4 at a vertical position higher than that of the liquid level of the liquid storage module 3 in the operating state, liquid in the liquid storage module 3 is prevented from automatically flowing into the wetting zone 4 under hydrostatic pressure when the machine is in a non-operating state. Under such a configuration, no valve is required in the liquid flow path between the liquid storage module 3 and the wetting zone 4, thereby simplifying the overall structure and eliminating leakage problems caused by valve failure.

[0051] Compared with existing wipe wetting making machines in which a bottom of the wetting zone 4 is generally horizontal such that compressed wipe blocks are wetted in a horizontal state and can absorb liquid only in a single direction, whereby a surface that first becomes saturated with liquid hinders further diffusion of liquid toward regions that have not yet absorbed liquid, resulting in a relatively slow and non-uniform overall liquid absorption. The wetting zone 4 of the present disclosure is configured as an inclined wetting groove 41. The inclined wetting groove 41 includes an inclined wetting bottom surface 411 and a wetting side surface 412. When a compressed wipe block falls into the inclined wetting groove 41, a bottom surface of the compressed wipe block is in contact with the inclined wetting bottom surface 411, and a side surface of the compressed wipe block is in contact with the wetting side surface 412, such that liquid can be absorbed simultaneously through both the bottom surface and the side surface of the compressed wipe block. Compared with the structure in the existing wipe wetting making machines in which liquid absorption occurs only in a single direction, the bidirectional liquid absorption structure shortens a liquid absorption path, thereby reducing a wetting time of the compressed wipe block and improving uniformity of liquid absorption. In addition, due to the inclined configuration of the inclined wetting groove 41, after the compressed wipe block is pushed out from the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2, the compressed wipe block slides along the inclined wetting groove 41 toward a bottom of the inclined wetting groove 41 under the action of gravity, such that a wetted wipe is positioned farther away from the material storage cylinder 2, thereby reducing the likelihood that liquid or vapor will cause compressed wipe blocks within the material storage cylinder 2 to become damp. Furthermore, the inclined wetting groove 41 facilitates removal of the wetted wipe and improves ergonomic usability.

[0052] In some embodiments, an included angle between the inclined wetting bottom surface 411 and a horizontal plane is 25-60°.

[0053] The inclined wetting groove 41 is exposed on the housing 1, thereby facilitating direct removal of wetted wipes by a user without requiring additional delivery structures, and also facilitating cleaning and maintenance of the inclined wetting groove 41.

[0054] The inclined wetting groove 41 is provided with a dustproof cover 7 configured to be openable and closable. When not in use, the dustproof cover 7 may be closed to effectively prevent dust and foreign matter from entering the inclined wetting groove 41, thereby maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the inclined wetting groove 41. When a user intends to produce a wet wipe, the dustproof cover 7 is opened to allow removal of the wetted wipe, thereby providing a simple structure and convenient use. In this embodiment, the dustproof cover 7 is configured as a hinged cover. In some embodiments, the dustproof cover 7 may be configured as a pull-out structure or other suitable configurations.

[0055] The wipe wetting making machine is further provided a wet wipe making button 8. The wet wipe making button 8 is provided in the inclined wetting groove 41. By providing the wet wipe making button 8 in the inclined wetting groove 41, a user is required to remove a previously produced wet wipe before the wet wipe making button 8 can be pressed to initiate a subsequent production cycle, thereby preventing repeated actuation of the wet wipe making button 8 when a wet wipe has not been removed and avoiding stacking and resultant clogging of wet wipes, thus providing a foolproof operation.

[0056] An ultraviolet (UV) lamp 10 is provided within the inclined wetting groove 41. Light emitted from the UV lamp 10 is capable of irradiating the inclined wetting groove 41, thereby enabling disinfection and sterilization of the inclined wetting groove 41. The inclined wetting groove 41 is further provided with the dustproof cover 7 configured to be openable and closable. When wet wipe production is completed and the dustproof cover 7 is closed, the UV lamp 10 is automatically turned on for a period of 5-60 seconds to disinfect the inclined wetting groove 41. When the dustproof cover 7 is not closed or is opened, the UV lamp 10 remains in an off state.

[0057] The material storage cylinder 2 is arranged in the housing 1 with the discharge port 21 facing upward. A lifting mechanism 9 configured to lift the compressed wipe blocks upward is provided in the material storage cylinder 2. Compared with existing wipe wetting making machines in which the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2 faces downward and is arranged inside the machine, thereby making blockage removal and maintenance relatively inconvenient. In the present disclosure, an upward feeding manner for supplying the compressed wipe blocks is adopted. In this configuration, the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2 serves as a blockage location. The discharge port 21 is arranged closer to the top of the housing 1, thereby being more accessible and easier to operate and remove. In addition, blockage can be cleared merely by removing jammed compressed wipe blocks at the discharge port 21 without operating other compressed wipe blocks or the material storage cylinder 2, thereby facilitating maintenance.

[0058] The lifting mechanism 9 includes a lifting spring 91 arranged at a bottom of the material storage cylinder 2 and a limiting block 92 arranged above the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2. Compared with providing a lifting mechanism 9 such as a motor, the lifting spring 91 is adopted to realize lifting of the compressed wipe blocks, resulting in a simpler overall structure, easier maintenance and lower cost. Compared with a configuration in which only the lifting spring 91 is provided, the lifting spring 91 cooperates with the gravity of the compressed wipe blocks, such that an uppermost compressed wipe block in the material storage cylinder 2 is maintained at a feeding position. In addition, by cooperation between the lifting spring 91 and the limiting block 92, the lifting spring 91 can be designed with a relatively large elastic force, such that even when friction exists between the compressed wipe blocks and the material storage cylinder 2, the lifting spring 91 is capable of overcoming the friction to prevent blockage of the compressed wipe blocks, thereby improving practicality.

[0059] The lifting mechanism 9 further includes a telescopic adjustment assembly 93. The limiting block 92 is telescopically provided above the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2 via the telescopic adjustment assembly 93. When the limiting block 92 is in an extended state, the limiting block 92 protrudes above the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2, thereby preventing the compressed wipe blocks from being vertically ejected from the material storage cylinder 2. When the limiting block 92 is in a retracted state, the limiting block 92 does not protrude above the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2, and thus no longer blocks the compressed wipe blocks, such that the compressed wipe blocks are ejected from the material storage cylinder 2 under the action of the lifting spring 91. Compared with a configuration in which the limiting block 92 is fixed in position and loading and removal can only be performed from a side above the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2, the limiting block 92 of the present disclosure is configured to be telescopically movable. Such a configuration facilitates loading of the compressed wipe blocks and also facilitates removal of jammed compressed wipe blocks.

[0060] The telescopic adjustment assembly 93 includes a telescopic seat 931 arranged on a side above the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2 and a return compression spring 932. The limiting block 92 is slidably provided in the telescopic seat 931 in a horizontal direction. A first end of the return compression spring 932 is configured to abut against the limiting block 92 in the horizontal direction, and a second end of the return compression spring 932 is configured to abut against the telescopic seat 931 in the horizontal direction. In the present disclosure, the telescopic adjustment assembly 93 includes only the telescopic seat 931 and the return compression spring 932, which not only enables the limiting block 92 to be configured as a telescopic structure, but also provides a simple overall structure, facilitates assembly, reduces the likelihood of failure and improves practicality.

[0061] An end of the limiting block 92 protruding above the discharge port 21 of the material storage cylinder 2 is configured as a loading inclined surface 921. A top portion of the loading inclined surface 921 is located away from a center of the discharge port 21, and a bottom portion of the loading inclined surface 921 is located adjacent to the center of the discharge port 21. By virtue of this structural configuration, compressed wipe blocks can be directly pressed downward for loading into the material storage cylinder 2, thereby facilitating loading of the compressed wipe blocks.

[0062] The limiting block 92 is provided with a toggling lever 94. The toggling lever 94 provides a force application point for a user to actuate the limiting block 92, thereby facilitating sliding movement of the limiting block 92 via manipulation of the toggling lever 94 to achieve telescopic movement.

[0063] The working principle of the present disclosure is as follows. To-be-wetted compressed wipe blocks are preloaded into the material storage cylinder 2, and a wetting liquid is preloaded into the liquid storage module 3. Upon pressing the wet wipe making button 8, a wet wipe production process is initiated. The first conveying module 5 conveys the compressed wipe blocks from the material storage cylinder 2 to the wetting zone 4, and the second conveying module 6 conveys the wetting liquid from the liquid storage module 3 to the wetting zone 4. The compressed wipe blocks absorb the wetting liquid in the wetting zone 4 to complete wetting. Upon removal of the wet wipe, the wet wipe making button 8 is actuated to initiate a next production cycle. The present disclosure can better ensure that the to-be-wetted compressed wipe blocks in the material storage cylinder 2 remain in a dry state, thereby preventing swelling of the compressed wipe blocks due to moisture ingress and avoiding jamming of the compressed wipe blocks at the discharge port 21. Accordingly, the common problem of jamming at the discharge port 21 in existing wipe wetting making machines is solved, thereby improving product reliability, service life and user experience.

[0064] Described above are merely preferred embodiments of the present disclosure, and are not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.
