Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of compressed towel production, and in particular relates to a compressed towel storage device for a wet wipe making machine.BACKGROUND ART
[0002] At present, compressed towel storage structures used in wet wipe making machines are widely adopted. For example, the wet towel storage cylinder disclosed in application number CN212767012U is a mainstream and commonly used structure.
[0003] This conventional storage cylinder has significant drawbacks in practical assembly and use. When an operator inverts the storage cylinder body and inserts it into the material port of the wet wipe making machine, if the outer diameter of the compressed towel placed inside is smaller than the constricted part of the storage cylinder, the compressed towel is very likely to slip off and fall out on its own; if the outer diameter of the compressed towel is larger than the constricted part, it may cause jamming or unsmooth discharge of the equipment.
[0004] To address the above problem, conventional structures rely on an additional retaining claw structure to limit and fix the compressed towel. However, once the retaining claw is installed, it must be removed in advance during disassembly and assembly of the storage cylinder, filling, and equipment docking and installation operations. The entire installation and filling process becomes complicated and involves many steps, significantly reducing the efficiency of daily material change, maintenance, and mass production of the wet wipe making machine. Moreover, the additional retaining claw increases the total number of components in the storage device, thereby increasing production, processing and subsequent maintenance costs. Thus, the overall structure has poor practicality and adaptability.
[0005] Therefore, a compressed towel storage device for a wet wipes machine is designed to overcome the above technical defects.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION(1) Technical Problem to be Solved

[0021] This embodiment provides a compressed towel storage device for a wet wipe making machine, as shown in FIGS. 1-5, comprising a storage cylinder 1, with a butting cylinder 2 fixedly connected to the bottom of the storage cylinder 1. Both the storage cylinder 1 and the butting cylinder 2 are cylindrical structures, and can be fixedly connected by means such as integral molding or welding to ensure structural strength and sealing at the connection. The butting cylinder 2 is used for butting with the wet wipe making machine. The inner cavity of the storage cylinder 1 serves as a compressed towel storage cavity 3 for stacking a plurality of compressed towels. Four through slots 4 are evenly provided at the junction between the storage cylinder 1 and the butting cylinder 2 and are distributed at circumferentially distributed at equal angular intervals. A supporting assembly is arranged in each of the through slots 4. The four evenly distributed through slots 4 provide installation space for the supporting assemblies while allowing the supporting assemblies to move flexibly inward and outward. The four-point arrangement ensures a more balanced supporting force, thereby preventing the compressed towels from tilting or jamming due to uneven single-point stress during storage.
[0022] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 5, the supporting assembly comprises an elastic piece 5 fixedly connected to the inner wall of the storage cylinder 1 and located above the through slots 4; the elastic piece 5 may be a plastic piece or a stainless steel sheet having a predetermined modulus of elasticity; one end of the elastic piece 5 is fixed to the inner wall of the storage cylinder 1 by means such as hot melting, bonding or riveting, while the other end is a free end extending into the through slot 4. A bump 6 is fixedly connected to one end of the elastic piece 5 located within the through slot 4; the bump 6 and the elastic piece 5 may be fixed by means of integral injection molding or separate assembly. A groove 7 is provided on the side wall of the bump. The groove 7 reduces the overall weight of the bump 6 and lowers the load on the elastic piece 5. It also improves the local deformation characteristics of the bump 6 under force, enabling smoother outward movement within the through slot 4 when compressed and thereby reducing the risk of jamming. A compressed towel storage cavity 3 is located above the horizontal surface of the bump 6; the horizontal surface of the bump 6 abuts against the lowermost compressed towel, thereby providing a stable upward supporting force for the stacked compressed towels.
[0023] The elastic piece 5 is made of plastic, metal or other materials, and has good elastic recovery, enabling the bump 6 to automatically retract and return for yielding and positioning, without requiring additional driving components. The thickness of the elastic piece 5 can be adaptively designed according to the weight and stacking number of the compressed towels, typically ranging from 0.5 mm to 2 mm, to ensure sufficient elastic deformation when pressed down by the compressed towels or pushed by an external force, and to quickly return to its original shape after the external force is withdrawn.
[0024] As shown in FIG. 5, the bump 6 has a triangular structure, wherein the bottom surface of the bump 6 is an inclined surface 8, and the top surface of the bump 6 is a horizontal surface. The triangular structure enhances the structural strength of the bump 6 itself, making it less susceptible to bending or breakage during long-term use, and providing good compression resistance. The inclined surface 8 provides a guiding and yielding function during loading of the compressed towels. When a compressed towel is inserted upward into the storage cylinder 1, the edge of the compressed towel first comes into contact with the inclined surface 8. Under manual downward pressing force, the compressed towel moves upward along the slope of the inclined surface 8, and generates an outward horizontal component force on the bump 6, forcing the bump 6 to move outward. This allows the compressed towel to smoothly pass over the bump 6 and enter the interior of the compressed towel storage cavity 3. After the compressed towel has completely passed over the bump 6, the downward pressing force is eliminated, and the elastic piece 5 drives the bump 6 to reset inward. At this time, the horizontal surface of the bump 6 fits stably against the bottom of the compressed towel, achieving stable and fixed point support, and preventing the compressed towel from sliding down due to gravity.
[0025] As shown in FIG. 5, corners between the inclined surface 8 and the horizontal surface of the bump 6 are rounded corners. The rounded corner structure eliminates sharp edges, thereby preventing the bump 6 from scratching or abrading the surface of the compressed towel during filling, compression, and sliding during subsequent discharge. This effectively preserves the integrity and performance of the material, and prevents chips generated by friction from affecting the normal operation of the wet wipe making machine.
[0026] As shown in FIG. 3, the storage cylinder 1 has a smaller diameter than that of the butting cylinder 2. This differential diameter design forms a stepped surface at the junction between the storage cylinder 1 and the butting cylinder 2. This stepped surface fits with a corresponding limit surface of the material port of the wet wipe making machine during assembly, thereby improving the recognizability and positioning accuracy of the butting assembly. It also increases the contact area between the butting cylinder 2 and the material port of the wet wipe making machine, enhancing assembly stability and preventing loosening or detachment of the storage device during use.
[0027] Detailed description of operating principle and process:
[0028] The storage device is first maintained in an upright position, with the butting cylinder 2 facing upward or downward depending on the preferred loading orientation. Typically, filling is performed with the butting cylinder 2 facing upward and the storage cylinder 1 facing downward. The compressed towel is then inserted from bottom to top into the compressed towel storage cavity 3 inside the storage cylinder 1. Specifically, the operator holds the compressed towel, aligns it with the lower opening of the storage cylinder 1, and pushes it upward. During insertion, the compressed towel first comes into contact with and squeezes against the inclined surface 8 of the bump 6. Under the continuously applied upward pushing force, the compressed towel gradually moves upward along the guidance of the inclined surface 8, and simultaneously exerts an outward pushing force on each bump 6. Under stress, the four bumps 6 move outward along their corresponding through slots 4, driving the connected elastic pieces 5 to undergo elastic deformation and bending, with the free ends of the elastic pieces 5 expanding outward, thereby creating space for the compressed towel to pass through. This process achieves an automatic demising action, allowing the compressed towel to smoothly pass over the four bumps 6 and enter the interior of the compressed towel storage cavity 3, thereby completing the storage of a single compressed towel.
[0029] After the compressed towel fully enters the compressed towel storage cavity 3, the operator removes the upward pushing force. At this moment, the elastically deformed elastic pieces 5 quickly return to their original state due to their own elastic restoring force, driving the bumps 6 to rebound inward to their original positions. At this time, the horizontal surface of each bump 6 stably abuts the bottom edge of the lowermost (i.e., just loaded) compressed towel, forming a stable multipoint support for the stacked compressed towels via the four evenly distributed bumps 6. Because the four bumps 6 are uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction, the bottom of the compressed towel is under symmetrical and balanced supporting force. Even if the storage device tilts or vibrates during subsequent transport, inversion or handling, the compressed towel will not accidentally fall from the inside of the storage cylinder 1, thereby significantly improving storage stability.
[0030] By repeating the above cycle of “push upward, demising, reset, and support”, multiple compressed towels can be batch-loaded one after another into the compressed towel storage cavity 3. The loading capacity can be flexibly adjusted according to the height of the storage cylinder 1 and the individual thickness of the compressed towels.
[0031] After filling is completed, the operator holds the outer wall of the storage cylinder 1, aligns the butting cylinder 2 having a larger bottom diameter with the material discharge port of the wet wipe making machine, and then presses downward so that the butting cylinder 2 is sleeved on the outer side or inner side of the material port of the wet wipe making machine (depending on the design of the material port; in this embodiment, the butting cylinder 2 is sleeved on the outer side of the material port). When the butting cylinder 2 is fully engaged and positioned at the material port of the wet wipe making machine, the outer wall of the material port simultaneously extends into the four through slots 4 at the junction between the storage cylinder 1 and the butting cylinder 2. Because the through slots 4 are aligned with the bumps 6, the outer wall of the material port simultaneously pushes the four bumps 6 from the outside, forcing all bumps 6 to move outward uniformly, causing the elastic pieces 5 to undergo elastic deformation again. At this time, all bumps 6 simultaneously retract outward, and the contact between their horizontal surfaces and the bottom of the compressed towels is released, thereby completely eliminating the supporting and limiting functions on the stacked compressed towels.
[0032] After losing the bottom support, multiple compressed towels stacked inside the compressed towel storage cavity 3 slide down on their own by gravity along the hollow channels of the storage cylinder 1 and the butting cylinder 2, and smoothly enter the humidifying and forming stations inside the wet wipe making machine, where subsequent processes such as spraying, humidifying, cutting and output are performed. Since the four bumps 6 simultaneously move outward to give way, there is no obstruction during the falling process of the compressed towels, ensuring continuous and smooth material discharge and avoiding material jamming or blockage.
[0033] When it is necessary to replace or replenish the compressed towels, the operator simply withdraws the storage device from the material port of the wet wipe making machine. At this time, the outer wall of the material port withdraws from the through slots 4, and the elastic pieces 5 return again, driving the bumps 6 to spring inward and return to the supporting state, and allowing the refilling operation to be performed again. The entire disassembly, assembly and filling process requires no additional tools or removal of any claw stop structure, thereby simplifying and accelerating operation and significantly improving the efficiency of routine material replacement and maintenance of the wet wipe making machine.
[0034] All technical features in this embodiment can be freely combined according to actual needs.
