[0002] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of sanitary ware, and in particular, to a connecting assembly and a toilet.BACKGROUND
[0003] A conventional toilet typically includes a toilet bowl and a cover plate assembly. The toilet bowl is provided with a first mounting hole, and the cover plate assembly is provided with a second mounting hole. A bolt passes through the second mounting hole and the first mounting hole and cooperates with a locking nut so as to mount the cover plate assembly to the toilet bowl.
[0004] Generally, the number of the first mounting holes may be multiple, and the number of the second mounting holes may also be multiple, and each bolt correspondingly connects one first mounting hole and one second mounting hole. Taking a center distance between adjacent second mounting holes on the cover plate assembly as a first distance, the first distance of cover plate assemblies of different specifications may be different, which results in that a toilet bowl of one specification can only be adapted to mount a cover plate assembly of one specification, and the toilet bowl cannot be compatible with cover plate assemblies of different specifications.
[0005] Therefore, how to enable the toilet bowl to be compatible with cover plate assemblies of different specifications while taking into account installation stability of the cover plate assembly remains a technical problem urgently to be solved by those skilled in the art.SUMMARY
[0006] To this end, in order to solve the above technical problems, the present disclosure provides a connecting assembly and a toilet.
[0007] In order to solve the above technical problems, one technical solution adopted in the present disclosure is to provide a connecting assembly, the connecting assembly being configured to detachably mount a cover plate assembly to a toilet bowl, the toilet bowl having a first mounting hole, and the cover plate assembly having a second mounting hole; the connecting assembly comprises:
[0008] a connecting member comprising a head portion and a rod portion connected in sequence; the head portion is configured to be engaged with a side of the cover plate assembly facing away from the toilet bowl, and the rod portion is configured to pass through the second mounting hole and extend to protrude from a side of the cover plate assembly facing the toilet bowl to cooperate with a locking nut;
[0009] an adjusting seat configured to be connected to the cover plate assembly; the adjusting seat is provided with an elongated guide slot penetrating through the adjusting seat corresponding to the second mounting hole; and
[0010] an engaging seat comprising a plate body portion; the plate body portion is disposed on a side of the adjusting seat facing away from the toilet bowl and is in guiding engagement with the adjusting seat along a length direction of the elongated guide slot; and
[0011] wherein the head portion is engaged with a side of the plate body portion facing away from the adjusting seat; the adjusting seat is provided with an engaging group disposed on an outer side in a width direction of the elongated guide slot and distributed with a plurality of first engaging portions along the length direction of the elongated guide slot; the plate body portion is provided with second engaging portions corresponding to the plurality of first engaging portions; the second engaging portions are in blocking engagement with the first engaging portions to prevent the adjusting seat from moving relative to the rod portion along the length direction of the elongated guide slot.
[0012] In order to solve the above technical problems, another technical solution adopted in the present disclosure is to provide a toilet, the toilet comprising a toilet bowl, a cover plate assembly, a connecting assembly, and a locking nut; the toilet bowl is provided with a first mounting hole, and the cover plate assembly is provided with a second mounting hole; the connecting assembly is the above connecting assembly and cooperates with the first mounting hole, the second mounting hole, and the locking nut so as to mount the cover plate assembly to the toilet bowl.
[0013] Compared with the prior art, in the present disclosure, when the head portion is released from the adjusting seat, the adjusting seat is capable of performing a first movement and a second movement. The first movement is rotation of the adjusting seat about the rod portion such that the length direction of the elongated guide slot is rotated, thereby adjusting an orientation of the length direction of the elongated guide slot. The second movement is that the adjusting seat is capable of moving relative to the rod portion along the length direction of the elongated guide slot. In this way, even if the adjusting seat and the second mounting hole are not aligned, the relative position between the adjusting seat and the rod portion can be adjusted through the first movement and the second movement, such that the adjusting seat can be aligned with the second mounting hole, thereby enabling adaptation to mounting of cover plate assemblies of different specifications.
[0014] In addition, when the head portion clamps the plate body portion, the second engaging portions are in blocking engagement with the first engaging portions so as to prevent the adjusting seat from moving relative to the rod portion along the length direction of the elongated guide slot, thereby avoiding shaking of the connecting member in the length direction of the elongated guide slot. Therefore, the connecting assembly of the present disclosure can enable the toilet bowl to be compatible with cover plate assemblies of different specifications while taking into account installation stability of the cover plate assembly.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0027] In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the technical solutions of the present disclosure, the present disclosure will be further described in detail below with reference to the drawings and specific embodiments. It should be understood that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present disclosure, rather than all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present disclosure, all other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art without making inventive efforts shall fall within the scope of protection of the present disclosure.
[0028] Referring to FIGS. 1-9, a toilet 10 comprises a toilet bowl 100, a cover plate assembly 200, a connecting assembly 300, and a locking nut 400. The toilet bowl 100 is provided with a first mounting hole 101, and the cover plate assembly 200 is provided with a second mounting hole 201. The connecting assembly 300 cooperates with the first mounting hole 101, the second mounting hole 201, and the locking nut 400 so as to mount the cover plate assembly 200 to the toilet bowl 100.
[0029] The connecting assembly 300 comprises a connecting member 320 and a plurality of elastic ribs 330.
[0030] The connecting member 320 comprises a head portion 321 and a rod portion 322 connected in sequence. The head portion 321 is configured to be engaged with a side of the cover plate assembly 200 facing away from the toilet bowl 100, and the rod portion 322 is configured to pass through the second mounting hole 201 and extend to protrude from a side of the cover plate assembly 200 facing the toilet bowl 100. A portion of the rod portion 322 protruding from the side of the cover plate assembly 200 facing the toilet bowl 100 sequentially comprises a pre-tightening section 3221 and a connecting section 3222 along a protruding direction relative to the cover plate assembly 200. The plurality of elastic ribs 330 are disposed on the pre-tightening section 3221 and are configured to abut against a side wall of the first mounting hole 101, and the connecting section 3222 is configured to pass through the first mounting hole 101 and cooperate with the locking nut 400.
[0031] By the above arrangement, the connecting section 3222 passes through the first mounting hole 101 and cooperates with the locking nut 400 such that the head portion 321 clamps the cover plate assembly 200. The elastic ribs 330 abut against the side wall of the first mounting hole 101 so as to pre-tighten the pre-tightening section 3221, thereby avoiding or reducing shaking of the connecting member 320 relative to the first mounting hole 101, and thus improving stability of the cover plate assembly 200 mounted on the toilet bowl 100.
[0032] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, an end of each elastic rib 330 facing away from the head portion 321 is provided with a lead-in portion 331, and the lead-in portion 331 extends toward the rod portion 322 in a direction away from the head portion 321.
[0033] By the above arrangement, when the rod portion 322 passes through the first mounting hole 101 such that the lead-in portion 331 abuts against an end portion of the first mounting hole 101, the lead-in portion 331 guides the elastic rib 330 to elastically deform such that the elastic rib 330 bends or compresses to enter the first mounting hole 101 and abut against the side wall of the first mounting hole 101, thereby facilitating the connecting section 3222 passing through the first mounting hole 101.
[0034] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, the connecting assembly 300 comprises an adjusting seat 310 and an engaging seat 340.
[0035] The adjusting seat 310 is configured to be connected to the cover plate assembly 200. The adjusting seat 310 is provided with an elongated guide slot 313 penetrating through the adjusting seat 310 corresponding to the second mounting hole 201.
[0036] The engaging seat 340 comprises a plate body portion 341 and a cylindrical portion 342. The plate body portion 341 is disposed on a side of the adjusting seat 310 facing away from the toilet bowl 100 and is in guiding engagement with the adjusting seat 310 along a length direction of the elongated guide slot 313. The cylindrical portion 342 passes through the elongated guide slot 313 and extends to protrude from a side of the adjusting seat 310 facing the toilet bowl 100. The cylindrical portion 342 is in communication with a side of the plate body portion 341 facing away from the adjusting seat 310.
[0037] Wherein the head portion 321 is engaged with a side of the plate body portion 341 facing away from the adjusting seat 310, the cylindrical portion 342 is rotatably sleeved on the pre-tightening section 3221, and the elastic ribs 330 are disposed on an outer side wall of the cylindrical portion 342. The connecting section 3222 extends to a side of the cylindrical portion 342 facing away from the plate body portion 341 so as to cooperate with the locking nut 400.
[0038] By the above arrangement, when the head portion 321 is released from the adjusting seat 310, the adjusting seat 310 is capable of performing a first movement and a second movement.
[0039] The first movement is rotation of the adjusting seat 310 about the rod portion 322 such that the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313 is rotated, thereby adjusting an orientation of the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313. The cylindrical portion 342 is rotatably sleeved on the pre-tightening section 3221, such that when the head portion 321 is disengaged from the plate body portion 341, the adjusting seat 310 is capable of rotating about the rod portion 322. When the adjusting seat 310 rotates about the rod portion 322, the engaging seat 340 is driven to rotate about the rod portion 322.
[0040] The second movement is that the adjusting seat 310 is capable of moving relative to the rod portion 322 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313.
[0041] In this way, even if the adjusting seat 310 and the second mounting hole 201 are not aligned, the relative position between the adjusting seat 310 and the rod portion 322 can be adjusted through the first movement and the second movement, such that the adjusting seat 310 can be aligned with the second mounting hole 201, thereby enabling adaptation to mounting of cover plate assemblies 200 of different specifications.
[0042] It should be noted that the first mounting holes 101 may be multiple, and the second mounting holes 201 may also be multiple, and each connecting assembly 300 correspondingly connects one first mounting hole 101 and one second mounting hole 201. A center distance between adjacent second mounting holes 201 on the cover plate assembly 200 is defined as a first distance. The first distances of cover plate assemblies 200 of different specifications may be different. In this way, by adjusting the relative position between the adjusting seat 310 and the rod portion 322 through the first movement and the second movement, the adjusting seat 310 can be aligned with the second mounting hole 201, thereby enabling adaptation to mounting of cover plate assemblies 200 of different specifications.
[0043] In addition, by allowing the connecting section 3222 to pass through the first mounting hole 101 and cooperate with the locking nut 400, the head portion 321 can clamp the plate body portion 341, such that the plate body portion 341 presses the adjusting seat 310 so as to clamp the adjusting seat 310 to the toilet bowl 100. By allowing the plate body portion 341 to be in guiding engagement with the adjusting seat 310 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313, when the head portion 321 clamps the plate body portion 341, shaking of the plate body portion 341 in a width direction of the elongated guide slot 313 can be avoided or reduced, thereby improving firmness of the cover plate assembly 200 mounted on the toilet bowl 100. In an optional embodiment, the plate body portion 341, the cylindrical portion 342, and the elastic ribs 330 may be integrally formed, but are not limited thereto.
[0044] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, the adjusting seat 310 is provided with an engaging group 315, the engaging group 315 being disposed on an outer side in the width direction of the elongated guide slot 313 and being distributed with a plurality of first engaging portions 3151 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313. The plate body portion 341 is provided with second engaging portions 343 corresponding to the first engaging portions 3151. The second engaging portions 343 are in blocking engagement with the first engaging portions 3151 so as to prevent the adjusting seat 310 from moving relative to the rod portion 322 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313.
[0045] By the above arrangement, when the head portion 321 clamps the plate body portion 341, the second engaging portions 343 are in blocking engagement with the first engaging portions 3151 so as to prevent the adjusting seat 310 from moving relative to the rod portion 322 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313, thereby avoiding shaking of the connecting member 320 in the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313. When the head portion 321 releases the plate body portion 341, the second engaging portions 343 are capable of disengaging from the first engaging portions 3151, such that the adjusting seat 310 is capable of performing the second movement. The second movement is that the adjusting seat 310 is capable of moving relative to the rod portion 322 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313.
[0046] It should be noted that, in one example, the first engaging portions 3151 may be engaging grooves, and the second engaging portions 343 may be engaging blocks. In another example, the first engaging portions 3151 may be engaging blocks, and the second engaging portions 343 may be engaging grooves. By way of example and not limitation, the engaging group 315 may be a rack, the first engaging portions 3151 may be engaging grooves, such as tooth grooves, and the second engaging portions 343 may be engaging blocks, such as teeth.
[0047] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, a first guide groove 314 is provided on a side of the adjusting seat 310 facing away from the toilet bowl 100, the first guide groove 314 extending along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313, and the elongated guide slot 313 being provided on a bottom wall of the first guide groove 314. The plate body portion 341 is disposed within the first guide groove 314 and is in guiding engagement with the first guide groove 314. The engaging group 315 is disposed within the first guide groove 314 and is located on the outer side in the width direction of the elongated guide slot 313.
[0048] By the above arrangement, by means of the guiding engagement between the plate body portion 341 and the first guide groove 314, when the head portion 321 clamps the plate body portion 341, shaking of the plate body portion 341 in the width direction of the elongated guide slot 313 can be avoided or reduced, thereby improving firmness of the cover plate assembly 200 mounted on the toilet bowl 100.
[0049] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, a second guide groove 316 is provided on the bottom wall of the first guide groove 314, the second guide groove 316 extending along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313, and the elongated guide slot 313 being provided on a bottom wall of the second guide groove 316. The engaging group 315 is located on the outer side of the second guide groove 316 and on the outer side in the width direction of the elongated guide slot 313.
[0050] A boss 344 is provided on a side of the plate body portion 341 facing the adjusting 310. The cylindrical portion 342 is provided on the boss 344, and the second engaging portions 343 are provided on an outer side of the boss 344 and located on the outer side in the width direction of the elongated guide slot 313. The boss 344 is in guiding engagement with the second guide groove 316.
[0051] By the above arrangement, by means of the guiding engagement between the boss 344 and the second guide groove 316, shaking of the plate body portion 341 in the width direction of the elongated guide slot 313 can be further avoided or reduced.
[0052] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, the adjusting seat 310 is configured to be detachably inserted into the second mounting hole 201 and clamp the cover plate assembly 200 to the toilet bowl 100. The adjusting seat 310 may comprise a rotating body 317 and a plurality of first hook portions 318.
[0053] The rotating body 317 is configured to be rotatably disposed in the second mounting hole 201, and the first guide groove 314, the second guide groove 316, and the elongated guide slot 313 are provided on the rotating body 317. The plurality of first hook portions 318 are distributed at intervals around an outer circumference of the rotating body 317, each first hook portion 318 comprising a first upward extending arm 3181 and a first locking block 3182. The first upward extending arm 3181 extends toward a side of the rotating body 317 facing away from the toilet bowl 100, and the first locking block 3182 protrudes from an outer side wall of the first upward extending arm 3181.
[0054] By the above arrangement, when the adjusting seat 310 is clamped to the toilet bowl 100, the adjusting seat 310 can be inserted into or detached from the second mounting hole 201. When the adjusting seat 310 is inserted into the second mounting hole 201, the first locking block 3182 clamps the cover plate assembly 200 to the toilet bowl 100. When the adjusting seat 310 is detached from the second mounting hole 201, the cover plate assembly 200 can be detached from the toilet bowl 100. In this way, installation and removal of the cover plate assembly 200 on the toilet bowl 100 can be achieved by inserting and removing the cover plate assembly 200 relative to the adjusting seat 310, thereby enabling convenient detachable installation of the cover plate assembly 200 on the toilet bowl 100.
[0055] In addition, when the head portion 321 releases the plate body portion 341, the adjusting seat 310 is capable of performing the first movement within the second mounting hole 201. The first movement is rotation of the adjusting seat 310 about the rod portion 322 such that the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313 is rotated, thereby adjusting an orientation of the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313. In this way, when the head portion 321 is disengaged from the plate body portion 341, the relative position between the cover plate assembly 200 and the toilet bowl 100 can be adjusted without removing the locking nut 400, thereby improving convenience of position adjustment of the cover plate assembly 200.
[0056] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, the connecting assembly 300 comprises a gasket 500, the gasket 500 being sleeved on the connecting section 3222 and located on a side of the locking nut 400 adjacent to the adjusting seat 310. The gasket 500 is configured to abut against the toilet bowl 100 when the head portion 321 clamps the plate body portion 341.
[0057] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, the cover plate assembly 200 comprises a cover plate 210, a connecting seat 220, and a flip cover 230. The second mounting hole 201 is provided on the connecting seat 220. The flip cover 230 and the cover plate 210 are respectively rotatably connected to the connecting seat 220.
[0058] Wherein the plurality of first hook portions 318 are arranged to define an insertion hole 319, and the flip cover 230 is provided with a protruding ring portion 231. The flip cover 230 is rotatable relative to the connecting seat 220 so as to cover or open relative to the connecting seat 220. When the flip cover 230 covers the connecting seat 220, the protruding ring portion 231 is inserted into the insertion hole 319 and presses the first upward extending arms 3181 outward.
[0059] By the above arrangement, the protruding ring portion 231 is inserted into the insertion hole 319 and presses the first upward extending arms 3181 outward, such that the first upward extending arms 3181 are more tightly engaged with the side wall of the second mounting hole 201, thereby making installation of the connecting seat 220 on the toilet bowl 100 more stable and less likely to loosen. It should be noted that the cover plate 210 may comprise a seat cushion and a upper cover, but is not limited thereto.
[0060] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, a slot 221 is defined on a side wall of the connecting seat 220, and a folding member 222 is connected to a lower edge side of the slot 221. The connecting seat 220 is connected to the flip cover 230 via the folding member 222.
[0061] A first crease 223 is formed at a connection between the folding member 222 and the connecting seat 220, and a second crease 224 is formed at a connection between the folding member 222 and the flip cover 230. The folding member 222 is folded upward around the first crease 223 so as to be engaged into the slot 221. The flip cover 230 is folded around the second crease 224 so as to cover the connecting seat 220.
[0062] By the above arrangement, folding of the flip cover 230 is achieved by forming the creases, such that the flip cover 230, the folding member 222, and the connecting seat 220 are integrally formed, thereby reducing production cost.
[0063] In an optional embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1-9, the flip cover 230 is provided with a second hook portion 232. When the flip cover 230 covers the connecting seat 220, the second hook portion 232 is engaged with the connecting seat 220. In this way, the flip cover 230 can more stably cover the connecting seat 220 and is convenient to open.
[0064] As shown in FIGS. 1-9, the present disclosure further provides a connecting assembly 300. The connecting assembly 300 is configured to detachably mount the cover plate assembly 200 to the toilet bowl 100, the toilet bowl 100 being provided with a first mounting hole 101, and the cover plate assembly 200 being provided with a second mounting hole 201. The connecting assembly 300 comprises:
[0065] a connecting member 320, comprising a head portion 321 and a rod portion 322 sequentially connected; the head portion 321 is configured to be engaged with a side of the cover plate assembly 200 facing away from the toilet bowl 100, and the rod portion 322 is configured to pass through the second mounting hole 201 and extend to protrude from a side of the cover plate assembly 200 facing the toilet bowl 100 so as to cooperate with the locking nut 400;
[0066] an adjusting seat 310 configured to be connected to the cover plate assembly 200; the adjusting seat 310 is provided with an elongated guide slot 313 penetrating through the adjusting seat 310 corresponding to the second mounting hole 201; and
[0067] an engaging seat 340, comprising a plate body portion 341; the plate body portion 341 is disposed on a side of the adjusting seat 310 facing away from the toilet bowl 100 and is in guiding engagement with the adjusting seat 310 along a length direction of the elongated guide slot 313;
[0068] wherein the head portion 321 is engaged with a side of the plate body portion 341 facing away from the adjusting seat 310; the adjusting seat 310 is provided with an engaging group 315, the engaging group 315 being disposed on an outer side in a width direction of the elongated guide slot 313 and being distributed with a plurality of first engaging portions 3151 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313; the plate body portion 341 is provided with second engaging portions 343 corresponding to the first engaging portions 3151; the second engaging portions 343 are in blocking engagement with the first engaging portions 3151 so as to prevent the adjusting seat 310 from moving relative to the rod portion 322 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313.
[0069] By the above arrangement, when the head portion 321 releases the adjusting seat 310, the adjusting seat 310 is capable of performing a first movement and a second movement. The first movement is rotation of the adjusting seat 310 about the rod portion 322 such that the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313 is rotated, thereby adjusting an orientation of the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313. The second movement is that the adjusting seat 310 is capable of moving relative to the rod portion 322 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313. In this way, even if the adjusting seat 310 and the second mounting hole 201 are not aligned, the relative position between the adjusting seat 310 and the rod portion 322 can be adjusted through the first movement and the second movement, such that the adjusting seat 310 can be aligned with the second mounting hole 201, thereby enabling adaptation to mounting of cover plate assemblies 200 of different specifications. In addition, when the head portion 321 clamps the plate body portion 341, the second engaging portions 343 are in blocking engagement with the first engaging portions 3151 so as to prevent the adjusting seat 310 from moving relative to the rod portion 322 along the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313, thereby avoiding shaking of the connecting member 320 in the length direction of the elongated guide slot 313.
