CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

[0001] The present application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2025-0049932, filed Apr. 17, 2025, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein for all purposes by this reference.BACKGROUNDTechnical Field

[0002] The present disclosure relates to a drippage prevention nozzle structure for a fluid pump. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a drippage prevention nozzle structure for a fluid pump, the drippage prevention nozzle structure being provided with a rotation nozzle coupled to a tip of an outlet of the fluid pump such that the rotation nozzle is capable of being rotated so that a bent end portion of the rotation nozzle faces downward when the drippage prevention nozzle structure is used, and the drippage prevention nozzle structure being configured such that the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle faces upward when the use of the drippage prevention nozzle structure is finished or when the drippage prevention nozzle structure is stored, thereby being capable of preventing fluid remaining in the outlet from flowing and spilling to the outside.Description of the Related Art

[0003] Generally, a fluid pump is an apparatus for transferring fluid in a liquid state from one place to another place, and performs a function of supplying fluid in a large storage tank or a storage container to a demand location such as a required container or a small container by using a suction force generated manually or generated by driving a motor.

[0004] Such a fluid pump is widely used in various fields such as the industrial site, industrial equipment, agriculture, a cleaning apparatus, a fuel transferring apparatus, and so on.

[0005] However, in a conventional fluid pump, there is a problem that a small amount of fluid is left inside an outlet of the fluid pump even after the operation of the fluid pump is finished. Therefore, a phenomenon in which the fluid flows down or falls along an end of the outlet and contaminates a floor or a place around equipment frequently occurs.

[0006] Such drippage may not only make a working environment unsanitary, but may also cause a safety accident such as slipping due to properties of the fluid, and may lead to an environmental pollution or a fire risk when the fluid is a chemical substance or fuel.

[0007] Therefore, there is a need for a structure that prevents a fluid drippage by preventing fluid from flowing out of the outlet after the use of the fluid pump is finished.Document of Related Art

[0015] In addition, a portion of the outlet that is cut to form the rotation hole may include a rib.

[0016] In addition, the outlet may have a guide groove which guides the protrusion part and which is formed from an end portion of an inner circumferential surface of the outlet to the rotation hole.

[0017] In addition, the rotation nozzle may be formed by injection molding using a synthetic resin material, and the rotation nozzle may have a recessed part on a portion around an injection molding point.

[0018] According to the present disclosure, since the drippage prevention nozzle is provided with the rotation nozzle coupled to the tip of the outlet of the fluid pump such that the rotation nozzle is capable of being rotated so that the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle faces downward when the drippage prevention nozzle structure is used, and the drippage prevention nozzle is configured such that the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle faces upward when the use of the drippage prevention nozzle structure is finished or when the drippage prevention nozzle structure is stored, so that there is an effect that fluid remaining in the outlet is prevented from flowing and spilling to the outside.

[0019] In addition, according to the present disclosure, since the drippage prevention nozzle structure has the rib formed at the portion of the outlet cut to form the rotation hole which guides the protrusion part of the rotation nozzle and which limits the rotation range of the rotation nozzle, there is an additional effect that the end portion of the outlet is reinforced.

[0020] In addition, according to the present disclosure, since the drippage prevention nozzle structure has the recessed part at the portion around the injection molding point of the rotation nozzle that is formed by injection molding, there are additional effects that the rotation nozzle is manufactured conveniently and the manufacturing cost is reduced as the injection molding point is not required to be processed separately.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0030] The singular forms used in the present disclosure include the plural forms as well unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, and this is equally applied to the singular forms described in the claims.

[0031] Hereinafter, an exemplary embodiment of a drippage prevention nozzle structure for a fluid pump according to the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0032] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a fluid pump in which the drippage prevention nozzle structure for the fluid pump according to the present disclosure is applied, FIGS. 2 and 3 are exploded perspective views illustrating the drippage prevention nozzle structure for the fluid pump according to the present disclosure, FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view illustrating the drippage prevention nozzle structure for the fluid pump according to the present disclosure, FIGS. 5 and 6 are views illustrating an example in which a rotation nozzle of the drippage prevention nozzle structure for the fluid pump according to the present disclosure is rotated by 180 degrees, and FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view illustrating an example in which the rotation nozzle of the drippage prevention nozzle structure for the fluid pump according to the present disclosure is rotated by 90 degrees.

[0033] The present disclosure relates to a drippage prevention nozzle structure 100 for a fluid pump, the drippage prevention nozzle structure 100 being provided with a rotation nozzle coupled to a tip of an outlet of the fluid pump such that the rotation nozzle is capable of being rotated so that a bent end portion of the rotation nozzle faces downward when the drippage prevention nozzle structure 100 is used and the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle faces upward when the use of the drippage prevention nozzle structure 100 is finished or when the drippage prevention nozzle structure 100 is stored, thereby being capable of preventing fluid remaining in the outlet from flowing and spilling to the outside. As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, the drippage prevention nozzle structure 100 may include a rotation nozzle 120 coupled to an outlet 110 such that the rotation nozzle 120 is capable of being rotated, the outlet 110 being formed on a fluid pump 10.

[0034] In more detail, the fluid pump 10 has an electrically driven structure or a manually operated structure, and is configured to discharge the fluid stored inside the fluid pump 10 through the outlet 110.

[0035] Here, since the pump structure of the fluid pump 10 is not what is claimed in the present disclosure, detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0036] However, the fluid may be discharged directly through the outlet 110, or the fluid may be discharged to a desired direction or to a desired target by connecting a nozzle or a hose to the outlet 110.

[0037] Meanwhile, the rotation nozzle 120 is bent at approximately 90 degrees, a first side of the rotation nozzle 120 is coupled to the outlet 110 of the fluid pump 10, and the fluid is discharged through a second side of the rotation nozzle 120.

[0038] Therefore, when the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 is coupled to the outlet 110 such that the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 faces downward, the discharged fluid falls downward through the rotation nozzle 120.

[0039] At this time, the rotation nozzle 120 may have the first side thereof provided with a protrusion part 122 that protrudes in a radial direction of the rotation nozzle 120, and the outlet 110 may have a rotation hole 112 which guides the protrusion part 122 and which limits a rotation range of the rotation nozzle 120.

[0040] That is, the rotation hole 112 is formed by cutting the outlet 110 along a path where the protrusion part 122 moves when the rotation nozzle 120 is rotated while the rotation nozzle 120 is coupled to the outlet 110.

[0041] The rotation hole 112 is formed by cutting the outlet 110 in a circumferential direction of the outlet 110 to a size that allows the rotation nozzle 120 coupled to the outlet 110 to be rotated by 180 degrees.

[0042] Therefore, in a situation in which the fluid is discharged, the protrusion part 122 is in a state in which the protrusion part 122 is supported on a first side end portion of the rotation hole 112 and the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 is in a state in which the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 faces downward. Furthermore, as illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6, in a situation in which the fluid discharge is finished, the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 is rotated such that the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 faces upward so that the protrusion part 122 is in a state in which the protrusion part 122 is supported on a second side end portion of the rotation hole 112, so that the fluid remaining in the outlet 110 is prevented from flowing and spilling.

[0043] In addition, the outlet 110 may have a guide groove 114 which guides the protrusion part 122 and which is formed from an end portion of an inner circumferential surface of the outlet 110 to the rotation hole 112.

[0044] In order to facilitate the rotation nozzle 120 to be coupled to the outlet 110 so that the rotation nozzle 120 is coupled to the outlet 110 while the rotation nozzle 120 is in the fluid discharge state, it is preferable that the guide groove 114 is formed in the outlet 110 at a position of the protrusion part 122 when the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 in the fluid discharge state faces downward. That is, it is preferable that the guide groove 114 is formed in a first side of the inner circumferential surface of the outlet 110 corresponding to the first side end portion of the rotation hole 112 where the protrusion part 122 of the rotation nozzle 120 in the fluid discharge state is positioned.

[0045] Therefore, in a state in which the protrusion part 122 is positioned such that the position of the protrusion part 122 corresponds to the position of the guide groove 114, when the rotation nozzle 120 is coupled to the outlet 110, a state in which the fluid is capable of being discharged is realized immediately.

[0046] In addition, according to the configuration described above, after the fluid discharge is finished, when to rotation nozzle 120 is rotated such that the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 faces upward, a state in which the protrusion part 122 is supported on a side opposite to where the guide groove 114 is formed, i.e., the protrusion part 122 is supported on the second side end portion of the rotation hole 112, so that a situation in which the rotation nozzle 120 is arbitrarily separated from the outlet 110 is capable of being prevented effectively and a coupled state of the rotation nozzle 120 is capable of being maintained.

[0047] In addition, the guide groove 114 is formed such that a width of the guide groove 114 at the end portion of the outlet 110 is larger than a length of the protrusion part 122 and the width gradually narrows toward the rotation hole 112 so that the width of the guide groove 114 at the rotation hole 112 is equal to or slightly larger than the length of the protrusion part 122.

[0048] Therefore, when the protrusion part 122 is coupled to the guide groove 114, the coupling is smoothly performed even though the protrusion part 122 is not positioned in a correct position, and the protrusion part 122 is positioned in the correct position when the protrusion part 122 enters the rotation hole 112.

[0049] In addition, a flange 121 configured to be supported on the end portion of the outlet 110 so that the rotation nozzle 120 is prevented from being inserted into the outlet 110 more than a predetermined amount of depth may be formed on the rotation nozzle 120, and a supporting jaw 111 supporting a coupled end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 may be formed in the outlet 110.

[0050] In addition, an O-ring O may be further provided so as to maintain a seal between the outlet 110 and the rotation nozzle 120, and an O-ring groove 124 coupled to the O-ring O may be formed in the rotation nozzle 120.

[0051] Meanwhile, a portion of the outlet 110 that is cut to form the rotation hole 112 may include a rib 116.

[0052] Here, the outlet 110 may be formed of a synthetic resin material, and the rib 116 may reinforce the strength of the outlet 110 by supporting the end portion of the outlet 110 partially cut due to the formation of the rotation hole 112, so that there is an effect that the outlet 110 is not easily damaged by external force such as impact.

[0053] In addition, the rib 116 is formed on the outlet 110 radially outward relative to the rotation hole 112.

[0054] In addition, as illustrated in FIG. 7, the protrusion part 122 is formed such that the protrusion part 122 has a height which does not protrude outside the rotation hole 112.

[0055] Therefore, when the protrusion part 122 is moved within the rotation hole 112, the end portion of the protrusion part 122 is not in contact with the rib 116, so that the protrusion part 122 is capable of being freely rotated without interfering with the rib 116 when the rotation nozzle 120 is rotated.

[0056] Meanwhile, the rotation nozzle 120 may be formed by injection molding using a synthetic resin material, and the rotation nozzle 120 may have a recessed part 126 at a portion around an injection molding point P formed by the injection molding.

[0057] If the injection molding is performed without the recessed part 126 during manufacturing the rotation nozzle 120, the injection molding point P protrudes on a surface of the rotation nozzle 120. Accordingly, when the rotation nozzle 120 is coupled to the outlet 110, the injection molding point P is caught on the inner circumferential surface of the outlet 110, so that the coupling and the removal of the rotation nozzle 120 are hindered. Therefore, the injection molding point P is required to be removed by performing a separate processing.

[0058] However, in the present disclosure, the injection molding point P is formed on the recessed part 126 that is recessed compared to the surface of the rotation nozzle 120, so that the injection molding point P does not protrude outside the rotation nozzle 120.

[0059] Therefore, when the rotation nozzle 120 is coupled to the outlet 110, the injection molding point P is not in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the outlet 110, so that the coupling and the removal of the rotation nozzle 120 are not hindered. Therefore, the injection molding point P is not required to be processed separately, so that there are effects that manufacturing of the rotation nozzle 120 is conveniently performed and the manufacturing cost is reduced.

[0060] As a protrusion having a predetermined size is formed on a portion where an injection molding solution of a mold for manufacturing the rotation nozzle 120 is discharged, the recessed part 126 is capable of being recessively formed with a predetermined size corresponding to the protrusion part having the predetermined size.

[0061] Therefore, according to the drippage prevention nozzle structure 100 for the fluid pump according to the present disclosure, since the drippage prevention nozzle structure 100 is provided with the rotation nozzle 120 coupled to the tip of the outlet 110 of the fluid pump 10 such that the rotation nozzle 120 is capable of being rotated, the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 faces downward when the drippage prevention nozzle structure 100 is used, and the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 is rotated such that the bent end portion of the rotation nozzle 120 faces upward so that fluid remaining in the outlet 110 does not flow and spill to the outside. Furthermore, since a portion of the outlet 110 that is cut to form the rotation hole 112 that is configured to guide the protrusion part 122 and to limit the rotation range of the rotation nozzle 120 includes the rib 116, the end portion of the outlet 110 is reinforced. Furthermore, since the recessed part 126 is formed on the portion around the injection molding point P of the rotation nozzle 120 that is formed by injection molding, there is no need to separately process the injection molding point P, so that there are various advantages that the manufacturing of the rotation nozzle 120 is conveniently performed and the manufacturing cost is reduced.

[0062] Although the embodiments described above are the exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, the present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments, and it is obvious to those skilled in the art that various modifications are possible within the scope that does not deviate from the technical ideas of the present disclosure.
