TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of folding iron frame beds, and in particular, to a dual-purpose packaging box capable of functioning as an outer package and a headboard.BACKGROUND
[0002] At present, iron frame beds for export on the market are basically shipped by sea. During transportation, they are usually packaged using packaging boxes. After delivery, the iron frame beds are used, whereas the packaging boxes, having fulfilled their purpose, are often discarded by users. For greater comfort of using the iron frame beds, users need to purchase an additional headboard.SUMMARY
[0003] In view of this, the present disclosure provides a dual-purpose packaging box capable of functioning as an outer package and a headboard. During use, the packaging box functions as the outer package of the folding bed body. After delivery, a user unfolds the folding bed body. After the packaging box is placed at one end of the folding bed body and connected to the folding bed body, the packaging box can function as the headboard. This effectively solves a problem in the prior art that an additional headboard needs to be purchased for a folding bed, greatly reduces the transportation costs, and reduces the expenses of a user for purchasing the additional headboard.
[0004] A dual-purpose packaging box capable of functioning as an outer package and a headboard includes a box body and a connection assembly. The box body is configured to receive and package a folding bed body during transportation. After the folding bed body is unfolded, the box body is mounted on the folding bed body or on a wall through the connection assembly such that the box body functions as the headboard.
[0005] In the foregoing technical solution, by the arrangement of the connection assembly, during transportation, the box body is configured to receive and package the folding bed body. After the folding bed body is unfolded, the box body is fixed at one end of the folding bed body through the connection assembly. Specifically, the box body is mounted on the folding bed body or on the wall through the connection assembly such that the box body is disposed at a bed head and functions as the headboard. In this technical solution, the conventional packaging box with only the single outer package function is transformed into the headboard used in conjunction with the folding bed body. The unique concept of this technical solution increases the utilization rate of the packaging box. Furthermore, a user enjoys the services of two products by purchasing one product, without purchasing a separate headboard, thus saving the purchasing expenses of a headboard, greatly reducing the costs of the user, and increasing the commercial value of the product.
[0006] Further, at least two groups of connection assemblies are included. In this technical solution, two groups of connection assemblies are preferred, which are distributed on two sides of the same end of the folding bed body. Alternatively, three groups of connection assemblies can be included. One of the three groups of connection assemblies is disposed in the middle of one end of the folding bed body, and the other two groups are distributed on two sides of the folding bed body. Certainly, with respect to a wider folding bed body, four or more groups of connection assemblies can be included based on an actual situation, subject to the strength and stability of the connection between the folding bed body and the box body.
[0007] In a preferred solution of the present disclosure, when the box body is mounted on the folding bed body through the connection assemblies, the connection assemblies include bed body connectors and box body supporting members. The bed body connectors are connected to the box body supporting members. Alternatively, the connection assemblies further include upright posts. The bed body connectors and the box body supporting members are located on two sides of the upright posts and are respectively connected to the upright posts. Outer sides of the bed body connectors are connected to the folding bed body. The box body supporting members are configured to receive and support the box body. Specifically, one ends of the bed body connectors are detachably connected to the folding bed body, and another ends are detachably connected to the upright posts or the box body supporting members. The box body supporting members are detachably connected to the upright posts or the bed body connectors. By applying the foregoing detachable connection manner, it is convenient for packaging and transportation. That is, during transportation, the connection assemblies are placed inside the box body. After delivery, the connection assemblies are taken out, and the box body and the folding bed body are connected and fixed, so that the box body can function as a headboard. This effectively solves the problem that a user purchases an additional headboard, and then effectively reduces user's purchasing and use costs. In this embodiment, the bed body connectors include connection pipes that are in plug-in connection with supporting pipe fittings of the folding bed body. A vertical plate is arranged on an outer end of each connection pipe, and the vertical plate is connected to a corresponding one of the upright posts or a corresponding one of the box body supporting members. Specifically, mounting holes are formed in the supporting pipe fittings. After the connection pipes and the supporting pipe fittings are in plug-in connection, the connection pipes and the supporting pipe fittings are fastened at the mounting holes through fasteners. The vertical plates are connected to front sides of the upright posts through the fasteners or are directly connected to the box body supporting members through the fasteners. The box body supporting members are connected to rear sides of the upright posts or directly connected to the vertical plates of the bed body connectors.
[0008] In a further preferred solution of the present disclosure, when the box body is mounted on the wall through the connection assemblies, the connection assemblies include wall connectors and box body supporting members. The wall connectors are L-shaped connection blocks. Two sides of the L-shaped wall connectors are respectively connected to the box body and the wall. The box body supporting members are configured to receive and support the box body. Inner side plates of the box body supporting members are connected to the wall. Specifically, the two sides of the L-shaped connection blocks are respectively detachably connected to the box body and the wall, and the inner side plates of the box body supporting members are detachably connected to the wall. By applying the foregoing detachable connection manner, it is convenient for packaging and transportation. That is, during transportation, the connection assemblies are detachably placed inside the box body. After delivery, the connection assemblies are taken out, and the box body is mounted on the wall and functions as the headboard. In this solution, it is more convenient to move and use the folding bed body.
[0009] Further, the box body supporting members are U-shaped supporting members, and widths of the U-shaped supporting members are adapted to a thickness of the box body. The U-shaped supporting members are configured to receive and support the box body. After the U-shaped supporting members are connected to the folding bed body, the box body is placed on the U-shaped supporting members and functions as the headboard.
[0010] Further, the packaging box includes a supporting assembly disposed within the box body. The supporting assembly is a quick release assembly. In one aspect, the supporting assembly is configured to support the folding bed body, and in another aspect, the supporting assembly is configured to enhance the strength of the packaging box for transportation and pressure bearing, and can well protect the box body. The supporting assembly is configured as the quick release assembly, which is conveniently mounted, removed, and used.
[0011] Further, the supporting assembly includes frame bodies located on two sides. A plurality of transverse rods are inserted into front sides of the two frame bodies. Two transverse rods are respectively inserted into tops and bottoms of rear sides of the two frame bodies. In the technical solution that the supporting assembly is provided with the two frame bodies located on the two sides and the transverse rods are respectively inserted into the front and rear sides of the two frame bodies, it is convenient for mounting and removal. During use, the transverse rods are first inserted into the two frame bodies on the two sides, and then are put into the packaging box to support and receive the folding bed body. The plurality of transverse rods are arranged on the front sides of the two frame bodies. Only one transverse rod is arranged at each of the top and bottom of the rear side of each frame body. The front side is located on an upper part of the packaging box during transportation and needs to bear a pressure, so the plurality of transverse rods need to be arranged to ensure the supporting and strength of the supporting assembly. The rear side is located at a lower part of the packaging box during transportation, to ensure the stability of connection of the supporting assembly. Therefore, totally two transverse rods are arranged at the top and bottom of the rear side. This setting can effectively save materials and costs while ensuring the supporting and the strength.
[0012] Further, each frame body is composed of a plurality of flat or square pipes. Insertion holes are formed in positions, into which the transverse rods are inserted, on inner sides of the frame bodies. The frame body is made of pipe fittings, so that the frame body not only has a simple structure, but also effectively reduces the costs. The provision of the insertion holes in the frame body facilitates the quick insertion of the transverse rods into the frame body and facilitates mounting and removal.
[0013] Further, the packaging box includes a cloth cover. During transportation, the cloth cover is loaded into the box body. During use, the cloth cover is taken out of the box body and is sleeved on the box body. The cloth cover is configured to be sleeved on the box body, thus enhancing the beauty of the headboard and the comfort of use.
[0014] Further, the box body is composed of an open box body and a box cover. Alternatively, the box body is of a split structure composed of an upper box body and a lower box body that are closed. Alternatively, the box body is of an integrated box body, and a folding cover plate for closing the box body is disposed at an opening of the box body.
[0015] Preferably, the box body is made of rigid corrugated paper. Corrugated paper has the advantages of low costs, light weight, easy processing, high strength, good elasticity and extensibility, and the like. In one aspect, as the outer package, the box body is convenient for storage and transportation. In another aspect, due to the elasticity, the box body is used comfortably as the headboard, and the user experience is good.
[0016] Compared with the prior art, the present disclosure has the following beneficial effects:
[0017] The idea is novel and unique. In the present disclosure, by adding the connection assemblies onto the conventional packaging box with the single outer package function, the box body is mounted on the folding bed body or the wall to function as the headboard. This technical solution has a novel and unique idea, and ingeniously changes the single outer package function of the traditional packaging box into two functions: an outer package function and a headboard function. This greatly increases the value and usage rate of the packaging box.
[0018] The costs are reduced. In the present disclosure, during transportation, the packaging box functions as the outer package for the folding bed body. After delivery, a user unfolds the folding bed body. After being placed at one end of the folding bed body and mounted on the folding bed body or the wall, the packaging box can function as the headboard, so that the user can enjoy the services of two products by purchasing just one product, without purchasing a separate headboard. This effectively solves the problem in the prior art that an additional headboard needs to be purchased for a folding bed, thus saving the purchasing expenses of a headboard, greatly reducing the costs of the user, and increasing the commercial value of the product.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
