Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of knitting tools, and particularly relates to a crochet hook with a replaceable hook head and a crochet hook set.BACKGROUND
[0002] A crochet hook is a common tool for knitting fabrics and handicrafts, typically used for crocheting products such as clothing, scarves, hats, gloves, bags, and dolls. Depending on the thickness of the yarn, different crocheting effects, and different usage habits, users usually need to use hook heads of different specifications, such as 4.0 mm, 5.0 mm, 6.0 mm, 8.0 mm, or 10.0 mm.
[0003] Existing crochet hooks mostly adopt a structure where the hook head and the grip handle are fixedly connected. When a user needs to switch between different specifications, they usually need to purchase multiple crochet hooks separately, which not only increases the cost of use but also causes storage space occupation and inconvenience in carrying them out. Although some detachable structures can replace the head, they mostly rely on simple insertion or friction fit, which is prone to axial loosening or relative rotation during use, affecting the stability of crocheting.
[0004] In addition, conventional crochet hook grip handles are mostly rigid structures, and holding them for a long time is easy to cause hand pressure and fatigue. For the elderly, children, or users with weak hand strength, the comfort and protection are insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a crochet hook structure that can stably replace hook heads of different specifications and has good holding cushioning effects and portable storage capabilities.SUMMARY

[0031] In the present application, the direction along which the hook head 200 is inserted into the grip assembly 100 may be defined as the axial direction. The grip assembly 100 is used for the user to hold, and the hook head 200 is detachably connected to the grip assembly 100, enabling the user to replace hook heads 200 of different specifications according to yarn thickness, knitting effect, or usage habits.
[0032] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, a crochet hook with a replaceable hook head includes a grip assembly 100 and a hook head 200. The grip assembly 100 includes a grip handle 110, a flexible grip sleeve 120, an insertion socket 130, and a locking cap 150. The flexible grip sleeve 120 covers the outside of the grip handle 110, the insertion socket 130 is disposed at the top of the grip handle 110, and the locking cap 150 is connected to the top of the flexible grip sleeve 120 and surrounds the outer side of the upper end of the insertion socket 130. The hook head 200 includes a hook head body 210, a hook part 220, and an insertion shank 230, with the hook part 220 formed at one end of the hook head body 210, and the insertion shank 230 formed at the other end of the hook head body 210. The insertion shank 230 may be inserted into the insertion socket 130, so that the hook head 200 and the grip assembly 100 form a detachable connection.
[0033] Referring to FIG. 5, the grip handle 110 may be a rigid or semi-rigid support member used to provide overall support for the grip assembly 100. The grip handle 110 may be made of plastic, metal, hard rubber, or composite materials. The flexible grip sleeve 120 is sleeved on the outside of the grip handle 110, and the flexible grip sleeve 120 may be made of silicone, gel silicone, thermoplastic elastomer, or other flexible materials, providing the user with a soft touch when gripping. A filling cavity 121 is formed between the flexible grip sleeve 120 and the grip handle 110, and a flowable gel 122 is provided within the filling cavity 121. The flowable gel 122 may be semi-liquid silicone, silicone gel, gel-like elastic material, or other flexible filling materials that have fluidity or flowable deformation capability under normal temperature usage conditions. The flowable gel 122 is not a rigid cured layer, but a filler capable of flowing, displacing, or locally redistributing within the filling cavity 121 in response to external gripping pressure.
[0034] When a user grips the flexible grip sleeve 120, the flexible grip sleeve 120 compresses the flowable gel 122 inward, and the flowable gel 122 can generate local flow or pressure dispersion within the filling cavity 121, allowing the grip assembly 100 to produce a flexible fit effect according to the finger pressing position. Thereby, the grip assembly 100 can provide a softer cushioning feel than ordinary rigid grip handles or solid elastic sleeves, making it particularly suitable for use by the elderly, children, or users with weak hand strength. The lower end of the flexible grip sleeve 120 may be a closed structure, so the end of the filling cavity 121 away from the insertion socket 130 may be closed by the flexible grip sleeve 120 itself, without the need for additional sealing members.
[0035] In other embodiments, the structures of the flexible grip sleeve 120 and the flowable gel 122 may also be varied. The flowable gel 122 can fill the entire filling cavity 121, or it can only be filled in the areas mainly contacted by the fingers when the user grips it. The filling cavity 121 can extend along the axial direction of the grip handle 110 and at least partially surround the grip handle 110, or it can form multiple independent filling areas at different circumferential positions of the grip handle 110. The flowable gel 122 may be silicone gel, thermoplastic gel, soft colloid, gel-like elastic material, or other materials with flowable cushioning effects. The outer surface of the flexible grip sleeve 120 may also be provided with anti-slip patterns, bumps, grooves, wavy patterns, or frosted textures to further improve gripping stability.
[0036] Referring to FIG. 7, the insertion socket 130 is at least partially elastically deformable and is formed with an axially-extending insertion cavity 131. The insertion cavity 131 is used to receive the insertion shank 230. The insertion socket 130 may be made of elastic plastic, nylon, polyoxymethylene, elastic resin, or other materials capable of elastic recovery. The insertion socket 130 includes a socket body 133 and a plurality of elastic locking arms 134. The insertion cavity 131 passes through the socket body 133 and extends into the space enclosed by the plurality of elastic locking arms 134. The plurality of elastic locking arms 134 are disposed on the side of the socket body 133 adjacent to the grip handle 110 and extend toward the grip handle 110 along the axial direction of the insertion cavity 131. An axial slot 135 is formed between two adjacent elastic locking arms 134, and the axial slot 135 provides clearance for the elastic locking arms 134 to expand radially outward along the insertion cavity 131. In the illustrated embodiment, the plurality of elastic locking arms 134 are distributed at intervals along the circumferential direction, allowing the insertion socket 130 to undergo local elastic deformation when the insertion shank 230 is inserted or withdrawn.
[0037] Referring to FIG. 8, the insertion socket 130 is provided with a first locking part, and the insertion shank 230 is provided with a second locking part configured to be engaged with the first locking part. In the illustrated embodiment, the first locking part is specifically a locking protrusion 132 formed on the inner side of the insertion socket 130, and the second locking part is specifically a circumferential locking groove 231 formed on the outer periphery of the insertion shank 230. The locking protrusion 132 at least partially extends into the circumferential locking groove 231 to restrict the insertion shank 230 from detaching from the insertion socket 130 along the axial direction of the insertion cavity 131. There may be a plurality of locking protrusions 132, which are distributed at intervals along the circumferential direction of the insertion cavity 131 and are respectively formed on the inner side of the corresponding elastic locking arms 134. Each locking protrusion 132 may be an arc-shaped protrusion or a local inward convex structure, and the plurality of locking protrusions 132 are engaged with the circumferential locking groove 231, thereby forming a multi-point snap-fit locking.
[0038] During the insertion of the insertion shank 230 into the insertion cavity 131, the outer surface of the insertion shank 230 pushes the plurality of locking protrusions 132, causing the elastic locking arms 134 to elastically expand outward. When the insertion shank 230 is inserted into place, the locking protrusions 132 enter the circumferential locking groove 231, and the elastic locking arms 134 reset inward, causing the locking protrusions 132 to snap into the circumferential locking groove 231. Thereby, the hook head 200 is not easily detached from the grip assembly 100 due to ordinary pulling, shaking, or forces during the knitting process. When the user applies sufficient pulling force, the groove wall of the circumferential locking groove 231 pushes the locking protrusions 132, causing the elastic locking arms 134 to elastically expand outward again, thereby allowing the insertion shank 230 to be pulled out from the insertion cavity 131, achieving the replacement of the hook head 200.
[0039] Referring to FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, the insertion socket 130 forms an outwardly expanding flared section 136 at the entrance end of the insertion cavity 131 for the insertion of the insertion shank 230. The flared section 136 has a guide inner wall 137, and the inner diameter of the guide inner wall 137 gradually decreases along the insertion direction of the insertion shank 230. One end of the insertion shank 230 adjacent to the hook head body 210 is formed with a transition section 236, and the transition section 236 has an outer peripheral guide surface 237 adapted to the guide inner wall 137. When the insertion shank 230 is inserted into the insertion cavity 131, the outer peripheral guide surface 237 can cooperate with the guide inner wall 137 to guide the insertion shank 230 into the insertion cavity 131, reducing insertion skew. After the insertion shank 230 is inserted into place, the outer peripheral guide surface 237 is at least partially located within the flared section 136 and is disposed opposite to or abuts against the guide inner wall 137, thereby reducing the radial shaking of the hook head 200 relative to the insertion socket 130 and improving the connection stability of the hook head 200.
[0040] An anti-rotation fitting structure is provided between the insertion shank 230 and the insertion cavity 131. The anti-rotation fitting structure is used to restrict the hook head 200 from rotating relative to the insertion socket 130 about the axis of the insertion cavity 131. In the illustrated embodiment, the anti-rotation fitting structure includes a shank anti-rotation surface 232 formed on the outer surface of the insertion shank 230 and a cavity wall anti-rotation surface 138 formed on the inner wall of the insertion cavity 131. The shank anti-rotation surface 232 may be a flat surface extending along the axial direction of the insertion shank 230, and the cavity wall anti-rotation surface 138 may be a flat inner wall corresponding to the shank anti-rotation surface 232. After the insertion shank 230 is inserted into the insertion cavity 131, the shank anti-rotation surface 232 is engaged with or abuts against the cavity wall anti-rotation surface 138, so that the insertion shank 230 cannot rotate freely within the insertion cavity 131. In this way, when the user hooks, winds, or pulls thread through the hook part 220, the hook head 200 can maintain a stable orientation, avoiding rotation of the hook head 200 relative to the grip assembly 100 that would affect the knitting operation.
[0041] In other embodiments, the anti-rotation fitting structure is not limited to the fitting between the shank anti-rotation surface 232 and the cavity wall anti-rotation surface 138. The insertion shank 230 may have a polygonal cross-section, an elliptical cross-section, a D-shaped cross-section, or a cross-section with ribs, and the insertion cavity 131 may have a non-circular cavity wall adapted thereto; alternatively, the insertion shank 230 may be provided with anti-rotation ribs, and the insertion cavity 131 may be provided with anti-rotation grooves that fit with the anti-rotation ribs. As long as the hook head 200 may be restricted from rotating about the axis relative to the insertion socket 130, a similar effect may be achieved.
[0042] The insertion shank 230 further includes an arcuate outer surface 233, and the insertion cavity 131 further includes an arcuate inner wall that fits with the arcuate outer surface 233. The fitting between the arcuate outer surface 233 and the arcuate inner wall can improve the radial support stability of the insertion shank 230, and the fitting between the shank anti-rotation surface 232 and the cavity wall anti-rotation surface 138 can restrict circumferential rotation. The circumferential locking groove 231 may include an arcuate groove section 234 formed on the arcuate outer surface 233 and a flat groove section 235 formed on the shank anti-rotation surface 232, with the arcuate groove section 234 and the flat groove section 235 connected along the circumference of the insertion shank 230. Thereby, the circumferential locking groove 231 can adapt to the non-fully circular cross-sectional structure of the insertion shank 230 having both the arcuate outer surface 233 and the shank anti-rotation surface 232, allowing the locking protrusion 132 to be stably engaged into the circumferential locking groove 231.
[0043] In other embodiments, the positions of the locking protrusion 132 on the insertion socket 130 and the circumferential locking groove 231 on the insertion shank 230 may be equivalently varied. For example, the first locking part may also include a locking groove provided on the inner wall of the insertion socket 130, and the second locking part may also include a protrusion provided on the outer periphery of the insertion shank 230, as long as the two can lock each other after the insertion shank 230 is inserted into the insertion cavity 131 and may be unlocked under an external force. The circumferential locking groove 231 may be a groove continuously surrounding the insertion shank 230, or may be multiple groove segments spaced apart along the circumference; the locking protrusion 132 may be an arcuate protrusion, a point-like protrusion, a strip-like protrusion, or a snap-fit structure. The number of elastic locking arms 134 may be two, three, four, or more, and the number of axial slots 135 may correspond to the number of elastic locking arms 134, or may be adjusted according to the elasticity requirements of the insertion socket 130.
[0044] Referring to FIG. 9, the locking cap 150 is connected to the top of the flexible grip sleeve 120 and surrounds the outer side of the upper end of the insertion socket 130. The outer periphery of the upper end of the insertion socket 130 is provided with a socket snap ring 143, and the inner wall of the locking cap 150 is provided with a locking cap slot 151. The socket snap ring 143 snaps into the locking cap slot 151 to restrict the locking cap 150 from detaching axially relative to the insertion socket 130. The locking cap 150 can simultaneously position and press the top of the flexible grip sleeve 120 and the upper end of the insertion socket 130, so as to maintain a stable assembly between the insertion socket 130, the flexible grip sleeve 120, and the grip handle 110. The outer surface of the locking cap 150 can form a rounded transition to avoid scratching the user's hand during gripping; the upper opening of the locking cap 150 can correspond to the flared section 136, allowing the insertion shank 230 to be smoothly inserted into the insertion cavity 131.
[0045] In other embodiments, the connection between the locking cap 150 and the insertion socket 130 is not limited to the snap-fit engagement between the socket snap ring 143 and the locking cap slot 151. The locking cap 150 may be fixed to the insertion socket 130 or the flexible grip sleeve 120 through threaded connection, interference fit, gluing, heat riveting, ultrasonic welding, or snap-fit engagement. The locking cap 150 can also simultaneously press the top edge of the flexible grip sleeve 120 to enhance the sealing effect of the filling cavity 121 at the end adjacent to the insertion socket 130.
[0046] Referring to FIG. 7, the outer periphery of the insertion socket 130 is formed with a first limiting ring 140 and a second limiting ring 141 spaced apart in the axial direction, with a limiting groove 142 formed between the first limiting ring 140 and the second limiting ring 141. The inner wall of the flexible grip sleeve 120 is integrally formed with a grip sleeve protrusion 123, which is located within the limiting groove 142. Since the grip sleeve protrusion 123 and the flexible grip sleeve 120 are an integral structure, the grip sleeve protrusion 123 possesses flexibility and elasticity. After assembly, the locking cap 150 is connected to the top of the flexible grip sleeve 120 and surrounds the outer side of the upper end of the insertion socket 130. The locking cap 150 can press against the upper end of the flexible grip sleeve 120, keeping the grip sleeve protrusion 123 retained within the limiting groove 142 and in elastic pressure contact with at least one of the first limiting ring 140 and the second limiting ring 141, thereby restricting the axial movement of the flexible grip sleeve 120 relative to the insertion socket 130 on one hand, and forming a sealed fit within the limiting groove 142 on the other. The first limiting ring 140 and the second limiting ring 141 are engaged to form a groove-like structure for accommodating and pressing the grip sleeve protrusion 123, which serves as a flexible sealing protrusion ring within the limiting groove 142, thereby sealing the end of the filling cavity 121 adjacent to the insertion socket 130 and reducing the leakage of the semi-liquid silicone or flowable gel 122 toward the insertion socket 130 after filling is completed.
[0047] In other embodiments, the first limiting ring 140 and the second limiting ring 141 may be replaced by spaced limiting flanges, limiting steps, annular ribs, or local protrusions, and the grip sleeve protrusion 123 may be replaced by an annular rib, local sealing bumps, a flexible sealing lip, or an independent sealing ring. Similar effects can be achieved as long as the axial movement of the flexible grip sleeve 120 relative to the insertion socket 130 can be restricted, and the end of the filling cavity 121 adjacent to the insertion socket 130 can be sealed or blocked.
[0048] It should be noted that during the filling process, the end of the filling cavity 121 adjacent to the insertion socket 130 may be kept open or have a reserved exhaust gap initially, so that when the semi-liquid silicone enters the filling cavity 121, the air inside the filling cavity 121 can be discharged. After the semi-liquid silicone is filled to a predetermined position, the grip sleeve protrusion 123 is then caused to enter the limiting groove 142 and be in elastic pressure contact with at least one of the first limiting ring 140 and the second limiting ring 141, thereby sealing the end of the filling cavity 121 adjacent to the insertion socket 130 and reducing the leakage of the semi-liquid silicone or flowable gel 122 toward the insertion socket 130 after filling is completed.
[0049] The top end of the grip handle 110 can abut against the second limiting ring 141, which is located between the top end of the grip handle 110 and the grip sleeve protrusion 123. The second limiting ring 141 can limit the axial installation position of the grip handle 110 relative to the insertion socket 130, allowing for stable axial support between the grip handle 110 and the insertion socket 130. In this way, the axial force generated when the user inserts or removes the hook head 200 may be transmitted to the grip handle 110 through the insertion socket 130, reducing assembly looseness caused by the deformation of the flexible grip sleeve 120 under individual stress.
[0050] In a specific assembly method, the flexible grip sleeve 120 is first sleeved on the outside of the grip handle 110, with a filling cavity 121 reserved between the flexible grip sleeve 120 and the grip handle 110. Then, semi-liquid silicone is injected into the filling cavity 121, so that the semi-liquid silicone fills or partially fills the filling cavity 121. Afterwards, the insertion socket 130 is installed on the top of the grip handle 110, causing the grip sleeve protrusion 123 to enter the limiting groove 142 between the first limiting ring 140 and the second limiting ring 141 and generate elastic compression, thereby sealing the end of the filling cavity 121 adjacent to the insertion socket 130. Finally, the locking cap 150 is sleeved on the outside of the upper end of the insertion socket 130, causing the socket snap ring 143 to snap into the locking cap slot 151, thereby fixing the locking cap 150 and increasing the end assembly strength of the grip assembly 100. In other assembly methods, a preliminary combination of the grip handle 110, the flexible grip sleeve 120, and the insertion socket 130 may also be formed first, and then semi-liquid silicone is injected into the filling cavity 121 through a reserved injection port, which is closed after injection by heat sealing, a rubber plug, an adhesive member, or a flexible material self-closing structure.
[0051] There may be a plurality of hook heads 200, and the hook parts 220 of different hook heads 200 have different specifications, such as different diameters, different hook opening widths, or different hook part bending shapes. The insertion shanks 230 of the plurality of hook heads 200 can have the same or similar external mating structures, for example, both having a circumferential locking groove 231 and a shank anti-rotation surface 232, so that they may be detachably connected to the insertion socket 130 of the same grip assembly 100 respectively. In this way, the user only needs to carry one grip assembly 100 and multiple hook heads 200 of different specifications to meet various knitting needs, reducing the cost of purchasing multiple complete crochet hooks and reducing storage space.
[0052] Referring to FIGS. 10 to 12, the present application also provides a crochet hook set. The crochet hook set includes a storage box 300, a grip assembly 100, and a plurality of hook heads 200. The storage box 300 is formed with a main shank receiving groove 331 and a plurality of hook head receiving grooves 332. The grip assembly 100 is removably disposed within the main shank receiving groove 331, and the plurality of hook heads 200 are respectively removably disposed within the plurality of hook head receiving grooves 332. The hook parts 220 of the plurality of hook heads 200 have different specifications, and the insertion shanks 230 of the plurality of hook heads 200 are all detachably insertable into the insertion cavity 131 of the same insertion socket 130, so that the plurality of hook heads 200 may be selectively connected to the same grip assembly 100.
[0053] Referring to FIG. 11, the storage box 300 may include a box body 310, a box cover 320, and a holding tray 330. The box cover 320 is rotatably connected to the box body 310, and the two may be connected through a hinge pin, a flexible hinge, or an integrated thin-walled hinge. The holding tray 330 is disposed within the box body 310, and the main shank receiving groove 331 and the plurality of hook head receiving grooves 332 are formed on the holding tray 330. The holding tray 330 may be made of plastic, silicone, foam, elastic resin, or other materials capable of supporting and limiting the hook heads 200. The shape of the main shank receiving groove 331 may be adapted to the profile of the grip assembly 100 to restrict the grip assembly 100 from shaking within the storage box 300. The plurality of hook head receiving grooves 332 may be arranged at intervals along the width or length direction of the holding tray 330 to store hook heads 200 of different specifications respectively.
[0054] A box body locking ring 311 is rotatably provided on the side wall of the box body 310, and the box cover 320 is provided with a box cover snap protrusion 321 configured to be engaged with the box body locking ring 311. The box body locking ring 311 is rotatable relative to the box body 310 between an unlocked position and a locked position. After the box cover 320 is closed on the box body 310, the user can rotate the box body locking ring 311 upward to the locked position, so that the box body locking ring 311 is sleeved over the box cover snap protrusion 321 and snapped with the box cover snap protrusion 321, thereby restricting the box cover 320 from opening relative to the box body 310. When it is necessary to open the storage box 300, the user rotates the box body locking ring 311 downward or in a direction away from the box cover snap protrusion 321, so that the box body locking ring 311 disengages from the box cover snap protrusion 321, thereby releasing the locking between the box cover 320 and the box body 310. Through this rotatable locking ring structure, the stability of the storage box 300 after being closed can be improved, and the risk of the hook heads 200 scattering due to the accidental opening of the box cover 320 during transport is reduced.
[0055] The opposite side walls of the holding tray 330 are respectively provided with grip parts 333, which protrude outward from the holding tray 330. Users can use the grip parts 333 to remove the holding tray 330 from the box body 310 or place it into the box body 310, facilitating the cleaning of the storage box 300, replacing the holding tray 330, or reorganizing multiple hook heads 200. The grip parts 333 may be formed as lugs, grooves, arc-shaped handles, or rough anti-slip areas. In the illustrated embodiment, the grip parts 333 are disposed on opposite sides of the holding tray 330, which facilitates bilateral force application by the user, making removal and placement more stable.
[0056] Referring to FIG. 12, a plurality of blocking limiting parts 334 are arranged on the holding tray 330, and a shank limiting groove 335 is formed between two adjacent blocking limiting parts 334. The insertion shank 230 of the hook head 200 is at least partially located within the shank limiting groove 335. The blocking limiting parts 334 can form partitions between adjacent hook heads 200, preventing multiple hook heads 200 from colliding with or crossing each other in the storage box 300. The shank limiting groove 335 can position the insertion shank 230, reducing the wobbling of the hook head 200 within the storage box 300. The hook head receiving groove 332 may further include a body receiving area for supporting the hook head body 210 and a shank limiting groove 335 for limiting the insertion shank 230. On the holding tray 330, specification identification areas may also be provided corresponding to the plurality of hook head receiving grooves 332; the specification identification areas can identify the specifications of the corresponding hook heads 200 through printing, raised characters, recessed characters, stickers, or color differentiation, facilitating quick access for the user.
[0057] In other embodiments, the box body locking ring 311 may also be replaced by an elastic snap, a sliding latch, a magnetic latch, or a buckle structure, as long as it can keep the box cover 320 and the box body 310 in a closed state. The holding tray 330 may also be integrally formed with the box body 310, or detachably embedded within the box body 310. The quantity, arrangement direction, and depth of the hook head receiving grooves 332 may be adjusted according to the quantity and specifications of the hook heads 200.
[0058] In other embodiments, the hook head 200 may also be replaced by other handheld tool heads having an insertion shank 230. The tool head may include a working portion for performing operations and an insertion shank 230 connected to the working portion. The structure of the insertion shank 230 may be the same as or similar to the insertion shank 230 of the aforementioned hook head 200, so that it may be inserted into the insertion cavity 131 of the same insertion socket 130, and achieve detachable locking through the engagement of the locking protrusion 132 and the circumferential locking groove 231, and restrict relative rotation through the fitting of the shank anti-rotation surface 232 and the cavity wall anti-rotation surface 138. The tool head may be a brush head, cleaning head, applicator head, scraper head, needle head, or other tool head that needs to be held and operated by a user. In this way, the grip assembly 100 may be used as a universal gripping structure, adapting to replaceable heads with different functions while maintaining a flexible cushioning grip effect.
