Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to members for building a temporary wall for partitioning an indoor space or mounting an ornament, more specifically to a block assembly that is capable of building a temporary wall such as a partition, and the like, with various designs, only through a binding structure thereof, without additional fastening means such as pieces, and the like.BACKGROUND ART

[0002] To split a space according to its use purpose, a partition is built, and to mount an ornament, further, a stand is built on a wall. Like this, temporary walls for various purposes are built indoors.

[0003] To build a temporary wall, for example, a partition, generally, a wall frame is constructed with wood or lightweight studs, and next, gypsum boards are built on the inner and outer surfaces of the wall frame.

[0004] The construction of the temporary wall needs a worker's special skill, and once the construction of the temporary wall is completed, it is not easy to move the temporary wall freely or change the temporary wall in design. If it is desired to move or extend the temporary wall according to the changes in the size of a space to be partitioned or it is desired to newly change the design of the temporary wall, the existing temporary wall is removed and thrown away as construction waste, and in this case, a temporary wall has to be built with new members, which causes the complexity of construction, waste of materials, and environmental pollution.

[0005] To solve such problems, there is disclosed Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0400095 wherein a set of assembly blocks include an assembly block 10, an auxiliary block 20, and a corner block 30, as shown in FIG. 1.

[0006] The assembly block 10 has a locking protrusion 14 on top thereof, a locking groove 12 on underside thereof in such a way as to correspond to the locking protrusion 14, and long holes 15 and 16 on the center thereof, and the auxiliary block 20 has a locking protrusion 24, a locking groove 22, and long holes 25 and 26 having the same shapes as the assembly block 10. In this case, the auxiliary block 20 is different only in size from the assembly block 10.

[0007] Further, the corner block 30 has two locking grooves 32 and 33 on the centers of the front and right surfaces thereof vertically and a long hole 35 on the center of top thereof vertically.

[0008] As shown in FIG. 2, a wall is constructed with the assembly blocks 10, the auxiliary blocks 20, and the corner blocks 30. In detail, a vertical surface c1 of the assembly block 10 is vertically placed to allow the locking protrusion 14 to be oriented toward a construction direction, and next, a vertical surface c2 of the auxiliary block 20 is vertically placed to allow the locking groove 22 to be coupled to the locking protrusion 14 of the assembly block 10. While the assembly blocks 10 and the auxiliary blocks 20 are being repeatedly built, the corner block 30 is seated horizontally at a point where a wall surface is bent to ┐ to allow one side locking groove 32 to be coupled to the locking protrusion 14 of the assembly block 10 and allow the other side locking groove 33 to be coupled to the locking protrusion 14 of another assembly block 10.

[0009] However, the set of assembly blocks as disclosed in Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0400095 are configured to allow the blocks to slide vertically so that the locking grooves 12, 22, 32, and 33 are coupled to the locking protrusions 14 and 24, which makes it hard to construct the wall on a place close to an underside of a ceiling and to create various designs with openings, ⊥-shaped protruding walls, etc.DISCLOSURETechnical Problem

[0010] Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems occurring in the related art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a non-piece block assembly that is capable of being improved in a coupling way, thereby building a temporary wall, without any limitation in position, enabling everyone to build or remove a temporary wall having various openings and continuous bent structures on various planes, and being repeatedly reused, thereby preventing waste of materials and environmental pollution.Technical Solution

[0035] According to the present invention, there is provided a non-piece block assembly for a temporary wall, the block assembly including: reference blocks each having a longitudinal whole protrusion on a top surface thereof and a longitudinal whole groove on an underside surface thereof; direction change blocks each having a longitudinal half protrusion and a transverse protrusion on a top surface thereof and a longitudinal whole groove on an underside surface thereof; top blocks each having a flat surface on a top surface thereof and a longitudinal whole groove on an underside surface thereof; opening end blocks each having a longitudinal half protrusion or longitudinal whole protrusion on a top surface thereof and a longitudinal whole groove or longitudinal half groove on an underside surface thereof; opening top surface blocks each having a longitudinal whole protrusion on a top surface thereof and a flat surface on an underside surface thereof; and opening top end surface blocks each having a ⊏-shaped hanging space on one side thereof and a flat surface and a longitudinal half protrusion on top and underside surfaces of the other side thereof, wherein the longitudinal whole protrusions, the transverse protrusions, and the longitudinal half protrusions are coupledly inserted into the longitudinal whole grooves or the longitudinal half grooves in horizontal directionsMode for Invention

[0036] Hereinafter, an explanation of the present invention will be given in detail with reference to the attached drawings. In the description, however, if it is determined that the detailed explanation on the well-known technology related to the present invention makes the scope of the present invention not clear, the explanation will be avoided for the brevity of the description.

[0037] FIGS. 3 to 9 show structural shapes of respective blocks constituting a block assembly according to the present invention, wherein FIG. 3 shows a reference block 110, FIG. 4 a direction change block 120, FIG. 5 a top block 130, FIG. 6 an opening end block 140, FIG. 7 an opening top surface block 150, and FIG. 8 an opening top end surface block 160.

[0038] The block assembly according to the present invention enables a temporary wall to be built only through the fastening structures of the respective blocks 100, without any use of additional fastening means such as pieces, nails, and the like, thereby achieving rapidity and easiness in building the temporary wall.

[0039] To do this, one of top and underside of each block 100 is provided with fastening means for coupling with the neighboring block 100, and in this case, each block 100 slides in a horizontal direction and is thus coupled to the neighboring block 100 through the fastening means.

[0040] The fastening means include a longitudinal protrusion 101 or transverse protrusion 102 protruding from top of each block 100, a longitudinal groove 103 formed on underside of each block 100 in such a way as to insert the longitudinal protrusion 101 or the transverse protrusion 102 thereinto, and

[0041] A ⊏-shaped hanging space 104 formed on one side of each block 100.

[0042] Further, the longitudinal protrusion 101 is classified into a longitudinal whole protrusion 101a formed over the length of the block 100 and a longitudinal half protrusion 101b formed over half of the length of the block 100, and in the same way, the longitudinal groove 103 is classified into a longitudinal whole groove 103a formed over the length of the block 100 and a longitudinal half groove 103b formed over half of the length of the block 100. The transverse protrusion 102 represents the fastening means formed in a transverse direction of the block 100.

[0043] The longitudinal protrusion 101 and the transverse protrusion 102 have given cross-sectional shapes so that the blocks 100 coupled up and down to each other are not separated from each other by means of a force applied in an upward and downward direction. According to an embodiment of the present invention, for example, the longitudinal protrusion 101 and the transverse protrusion 102 have inverse-trapezoidal cross-sectional shapes. Of course, the longitudinal groove 103 has the same cross-sectional shape as the longitudinal protrusion 101 and the transverse protrusion 102. As a result, the longitudinal whole protrusion 101a, the transverse protrusion 102, and the longitudinal half protrusion 101b are inserted into the longitudinal whole groove 103a or the longitudinal half groove 103b in the horizontal directions, as mentioned above, so that the neighboring blocks 100 are coupled integrally with each other.

[0044] At least one or more fastening means are formed on each block 100 positioned according to position characteristics of the temporary wall, and they will be explained in detail below.

[0045] The reference block 110 as shown in FIG. 3 is located on a continuously straight portion of the temporary wall and has the longitudinal whole protrusion 101a on a top surface thereof and the longitudinal whole grove 103a on an underside surface thereof.

[0046] The reference block 110 is classified into a reference whole block 110A as shown in FIG. 3a and a reference half block 110B as shown in FIG. 3b according to its length, and the reference whole block 110A is two times longer than the reference half block 110B, with no different components. That is, the reference half block 110B has a longitudinal half protrusion 101b on a top surface thereof and a longitudinal half groove 103b on an underside surface thereof.

[0047] The reference half block 110B is located on an irregular surface of the side end of the temporary wall when the blocks 100 are coupled to one another in upward and downward directions in such a way as to be misalignedly stacked onto top of one another, thereby serving to finish the side end of the temporary wall vertically.

[0048] The direction change block 120 as shown in FIG. 4 serves to keep structural integrality of the temporary wall even on a bent portion of the temporary wall, if the temporary wall is bent in a vertical direction or to the shape of T, while inducing the direction change of the temporary wall.

[0049] As shown in FIG. 4, the direction change block 120 has the longitudinal half protrusion 101b and the transverse protrusion 102 vertical to the longitudinal half protrusion 101b on a top surface thereof and the longitudinal half groove 103a on an underside surface thereof.

[0050] The top block 130 as shown in FIG. 5 is located on the topmost position of the temporary wall or on the bottom surface of an opening formed on the temporary wall and serves to flattedly finish a top end surface of the temporary wall or the bottom surface of the opening.

[0051] The top block 130 has a flat surface 105 on a top surface thereof and the longitudinal whole groove 103a on an underside surface thereof. In the same way as the reference block 110, the top block 130 is classified into a top whole block 130A as shown in FIG. 5a and a top half block 130B as shown in FIG. 5b according to its length, and the top whole block 130A is two times longer than the top half block 130B.

[0052] The opening end block 140 as shown in FIG. 6 is located on a corner of the opening of the temporary wall and thus serves to flattedly finish a top or bottom surface of the opening, while being misalignedly coupled to the upper or lower block 100 located on the side of the opening.

[0053] The opening end block 140 has the longitudinal half protrusion 101b or the longitudinal whole protrusion 101a on a top surface thereof and the longitudinal whole groove 103a or the longitudinal half groove 103b on an underside surface thereof. The opening end block 140 is classified into an opening bottom end block 140A and an opening top end block 140B according to positions on the opening.

[0054] As shown in FIG. 6a, the opening bottom end block 140A has the longitudinal half protrusion 101b on the top surface thereof and the longitudinal whole groove 103a on the underside surface thereof. The longitudinal half protrusion 101b and the longitudinal whole groove 103a are coupled to the blocks 100 located on a portion where the opening is not formed, and the remaining portion of the top surface of the opening bottom end block 140A, in which the longitudinal half protrusion 101b is not formed, forms a flat bottom surface of the opening.

[0055] As shown in FIG. 6b, the opening top end block 140B has the longitudinal whole protrusion 101a on the top surface thereof and the longitudinal half groove 103b on the underside surface thereof. The longitudinal whole protrusion 101a and the longitudinal half groove 103b are coupled to the blocks 100 located on a portion where the opening is not formed, and the remaining portion of the bottom surface of the opening top end block 140B, in which the longitudinal half groove 103b is not formed, forms a flat top surface of the opening.

[0056] The opening top surface block 150 as shown in FIG. 7 is located on a top surface of the opening of the temporary wall and thus serves to flattedly finish the top surface of the opening.

[0057] The opening top surface block 150 has the longitudinal whole protrusion 101a on a top surface thereof and the flat surface 105 on an underside surface thereof. Further, the opening top surface block 150 is classified into an opening top surface whole block 150A as shown in FIG. 7a and an opening top surface half block 150B as shown in FIG. 7b according to its length, and the opening top surface whole block 150A is two times longer than the opening top surface half block 150B.

[0058] The opening top surface whole blocks 150A and the opening top surface half blocks 150B are built together, and otherwise, the opening top surface whole blocks 150A are built solely. This is dependent upon the width of the opening.

[0059] The opening top end surface block 160 as shown in FIG. 8 has the ⊏-shaped hanging space 104 formed on one side thereof, unlike the above-mentioned blocks 100 having only the longitudinal protrusions 101 and the longitudinal grooves 103 on the hexahedron bodies thereof. Further, the opening top end surface block 160 has the flat surface 105 on a top surface of the other side where the ⊏-shaped hanging space 104 is not formed and the longitudinal half groove 103b on the underside surface of the other side thereof.

[0060] The opening top end surface block 160 is built if a width of the opening and a height of the temporary wall from top end portion of the opening to a top end of the temporary wall are just a length and height of one block.

[0061] The blocks 100 as described above are not limited specially in materials, and they may be made of wood by means of machining or synthetic resin by means of injection molding. Otherwise, they may have foamed synthetic resins or glass fibers 106 filled therein. FIG. 9 shows the incised reference block 110 in which the glass fibers 106 are filled.

[0062] If a hanging means such as a piece or nail for hanging an ornament such as a clock or frame on the temporary wall puts in the temporary wall, the foamed synthetic resins or glass fibers 106 filled in the block 100 serve to hold a front end portion of the hanging means to prevent the hanging means from tilting downward. Further, they have soundproofing and thermal insulation effectiveness in a structure where a space is completely separated through the temporary wall.

[0063] Moreover, an indoor floor F where the block assembly of the present invention is built may not be at an even level. To prevent the built temporary wall from moving easily under an unexpected impact, further, the temporary wall is needed to be fixed to the floor F.

[0064] To do this, the block assembly of the present invention further includes floor plates 200 located on the floor F to fix the temporary wall thereto, thereby allowing the blocks 100 to be built on their flat surface.

[0065] The floor plate 200 may not be limited in a cross-sectional shape thereof only if it is located on the floor F and has the above-mentioned functions, and according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 10, the floor plate 200 has the longitudinal whole protrusion 101a on a top surface thereof in such a way as to be inserted into the longitudinal groove 103 of the reference block 110 and an adhesive filling groove 201 on an underside surface thereof.

[0066] In the same way as the indoor floor F, a top end of the temporary wall is needed to be fixed to a ceiling S. To do this, the block assembly of the present invention further includes a column unit 300 located on the ceiling S to fix the temporary wall thereto.

[0067] FIGS. 11 and 12 show examples of the column unit 300.

[0068] According to embodiments of the present invention, the column unit 300 includes an upper fixed body 310, a lower fixed body 320, and a finishing column 330.

[0069] The upper fixed body 310 serves to allow the column unit 300 to be fixed to the ceiling S and consists of a fixed plate 311 fixedly brought into contact with the ceiling S and an upper coupling column 313 fixed integrally to the underside of the fixed plate 311 in such a way as to be coupled to the lower fixed body 320.

[0070] The fixed plate 311 is fixed to the ceiling S by means of pieces. Therefore, the fixed plate 311 has piece holes 312.

[0071] The upper coupling column 313 has a coupling groove 314 formed therein. The coupling groove 314 serves to insert a lower coupling column 323 as will be discussed later thereinto to allow the upper fixed body 310 and the lower fixed body 320 to be coupled to each other.

[0072] The lower fixed body 320 serves to surround the upper fixed body 310 to prevent the fastening means such as pieces from being exposed to the outside, and further, the lower fixed body 320 serves to finish a coupled portion between the ceiling S and the column unit 300 to prevent the outer appearance of the column unit 300 from being deteriorated due to the coupled portion.

[0073] The lower fixed body 320 consists of a finishing cover 321 and the lower coupling column 323.

[0074] The finishing cover 321 has the shape of a cone having a wide top and a narrow bottom. The cross-section of top of the finishing cover 321 is equal to or greater than the cross-section of the fixed plate 311 of the upper fixed body 310, so that it covers the fixed plate 311, without any exposure of the fixed plate 311 to the outside. As shown in FIG. 11, the finishing cover 321 slides up and down along the outer surfaces of the lower coupling column 323, and if a means as will be discussed later for adjusting the length of the column unit 300 is provided, the finishing cover 321 is fixed to the lower coupling column 323, as shown in FIG. 12.

[0075] As mentioned above, the lower coupling column 323 is inserted into the coupling groove 314 of the upper coupling column 313 and thus coupled integrally to the upper coupling column 313. The lower coupling column 323 has a fastening groove 324 open on the underside thereof.

[0076] The finishing column 330 is coupled to the lower fixed body 320 in a state where the underside is located on top of the temporary wall, so that the column unit 300 is fixed between the temporary wall and the ceiling S.

[0077] As a top end of the finishing column 330 is inserted into the fastening groove 324 of the lower coupling column 323, the finishing column 330 is coupled to the lower fixed body 320. Further, as the finishing column 330 has the longitudinal whole groove 103a and the transverse groove (not shown) on the underside surface thereof, it is coupled to the block 100 located on the topmost position of the temporary wall. Therefore, the block 100 located on the topmost position of the temporary wall where the column unit 300 is built mush have the longitudinal protrusion 101 or the transverse protrusion 102 on the top surface thereof, like the reference block 110.

[0078] Furthermore, a minute gap between top of the column unit 300 located on the temporary wall and the ceiling S may be generated according to ceiling heights of a building, and therefore, there is a need to remove the gap so as to allow the temporary wall to be structurally stable and ensure a good outer appearance of the temporary wall.

[0079] To do this, the column unit 300 of the present invention further includes the means for adjusting the length thereof.

[0080] For example, a female screw 325 is located on the fastening groove 324 of the lower coupling column 323, and a fastening rod 331 having a male screw 332 is located on top of the finishing column 330, so that the length of the column unit 300 itself as well as the entire coupled length between the lower coupling column 323 and the finishing column 330 may be adjusted by means of screw fastening.

[0081] Up to now, the configuration of the block assembly according to the present invention has been explained, and next, a method for constructing the temporary wall using the block assembly will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 13 to 20.

[0082] FIG. 13 shows a process of installing the floor plates 200 on the indoor floor F on which the temporary wall is to be built.

[0083] The floor plates 200 are installed, if necessary, according to the state of the floor F or the purpose of the temporary wall, but if it is desired to install the floor plates 200, the floor plates 200 are attached to the floor F by means of double tapes and fixed in position. Next, an adhesive such as silicone 401 is filled in the adhesive filling groove 201 of each floor plate 200, so that the floor plates 200 are completely fixed to the floor F, without any movements on the floor F.

[0084] Further, the floor plate 200 has filling holes 202 on a top surface thereof to fill the adhesive therein, and according to the material of the floor F, the floor plate 200 is fixed to the floor F by means of pieces fitted to the filling holes 202, without any use of the adhesive. In this case, however, the floor F may be damaged or broken.

[0085] FIG. 14 shows a process of installing the reference blocks 110 on the floor plate 200.

[0086] Each reference block 110 slides horizontally to allow the longitudinal whole protrusion 101a of the top surface of the floor plate 200 to be inserted into the longitudinal whole groove 103a thereof, so that the reference blocks 110 are fixed to the floor plate 200.

[0087] In this case, only the reference whole blocks 110A may be built or they may be built together with the reference half blocks 110B, which is dependent upon the horizontal length of the temporary wall.

[0088] In the case of a straight plane portion of the temporary wall where no bending and opening exist, the reference blocks 110 are built continuously.

[0089] FIG. 15 shows the case where the temporary wall is bent, wherein FIG. 15a shows the case where the temporary wall is bent to the shape of T and FIG. 15b shows the case where the temporary wall is bent to the shape of ┐.

[0090] The direction change block 120 is built to allow the longitudinal whole groove 103a thereof to insert the longitudinal whole protrusion 101a of the reference whole block 110A thereinto, while the transverse protrusion 102 protruding from a top surface thereof is being located at a bent position.

[0091] As a result, as shown in FIG. 15a, the direction change block 120 is kept integral with the existing direction of the temporary wall by means of the longitudinal whole groove 103a thereof, while being kept integral with the bent portion of the temporary wall by means of the transverse protrusion 102 thereof.

[0092] If the temporary wall is bent to the shape of ┐, as shown in FIG. 15b, the reference half block 110B is located on the longitudinal whole groove 103a of the direction change block 120 to allow the end portion of the temporary wall in the existing direction of the temporary wall to be finished.

[0093] FIGS. 16 to 20 show the formation of various openings on the temporary wall.
