The dial of the irrigation controller is unclaimed in its entirety and has been omitted in FIGS. 2, 5, 8, and 13 to better illustrate boundaries between claimed and unclaimed portions of the irrigation controller, noting that, in these figures, portions of the irrigation controller that would be obscured by the unclaimed dial, if it were not omitted, are shown in broken lines to indicate that these portions are unclaimed. The unclaimed dial is not presented in FIGS. 3, 6, and 9 as it is not visible in the perspective of the irrigation controller provided in these figures.
