[0010] In certain applications of use, the lid for container can be used to close a container for shaking, such as a container containing a beverage. The container can be a cup. For example, the lid can be used with a cup to shake a beverage. The lid for container can be made of a variety of materials including, but not limited, to plastic, rubber, or metal.
