[0001] Genus and species: Dianthus x allwoodii hort.

[0002] Variety denomination: ‘KLEDA28787’.BACKGROUND OF THE NEW PLANT

[0003] The present invention comprises a new and distinct variety of Dianthus, botanically known as Dianthus x allwoodii hort. and hereinafter referred to by the variety name ‘KLEDA28787’. ‘KLEDA28787’ originated from a branch mutation of ‘WAS 19.01’ (unpatented) discovered in July 2020 in a nursery in Ashcombe, Dawlish, United Kingdom.

[0004] In July 2020, ‘KLEDA28787’ was selected and was first vegetatively propagated by vegetative cuttings in Ashcombe, Dawlish, United Kingdom. KLEDA28787′ was found to reproduce true to type in successive generations of asexual propagation in Ashcombe, Dawlish, United Kingdom via vegetative cuttings.SUMMARY

The data which define these characteristics were collected from 9-month-old plants in June 2025 indoors in Dawlish, United Kingdom. Color references are to The R.H.S.
