Description
The compounds of formula A, or an acceptable pharmaceutical salt thereof, are disclosed: wherein A, X, R1 and R2 are as defined herein, which compounds have properties to antagonize PCSK9. Also described are the pharmaceutical formulations comprising the compounds of the formula IO, their salts, and the methods of treatment of cardiovascular diseases and conditions related to PCSK9 activity, for example, atherosclerosis, hypercholesterolemia, coronary heart disease, metabolic syndrome, acute coronary syndrome, or related cardiovascular diseases and cardiometabolic conditions.
