This document describes compounds of formula (I) where R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are defined herein, their use as diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2 (DGAT2) inhibitors, pharmaceutical compositions containing said inhibitors, and the use of said inhibitors to treat, for example, NASH.
