Description

A METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REDUCING THE VISCOSITY AND IMPROVING LOW-GRADE HEAVY OIL IS PROVIDED. THE METHOD COMPRISES: (A) CARRYING OUT A VISCOSITY REDUCTION REACTION BY THERMAL CRACKING ON THE LOW-GRADE HEAVY OIL FEED AND CONTROLLING THE TOLUENE INSOLUBLE CONTENT IN THE PRODUCED OIL; (B) MIXING THE OIL PRODUCED IN STAGE (A) WITH HYDROGEN IN A GAS-LIQUID MIXER TO OBTAIN A HYDROGEN-OIL MIXTURE IN A LIQUID STATE, OR MIXING THE OIL PRODUCED IN STAGE (A) WITH HYDROGEN TO OBTAIN A HYDROGEN-OIL MIXTURE IN A GASEOUS-LIQUID STATE; IN THE PRESENCE OF A HYDROGENATING CATALYST, CARRY OUT A HYDROGENATION REACTION IN THE HYDROGEN-PETROLEUM MIXTURE IN THE LIQUID STATE OR THE HYDROGEN-PETROLEUM MIXTURE IN THE GASEOUS-LIQUID STATE IN THE REACTOR, AND OBTAIN A REDUCED AND IMPROVED VISCOSITY PETROLEUM AFTER THE REACTION.IT IS THE METHOD OF VISCOSITY REDUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT BY COMBINING THERMAL VISCOSITY REDUCTION AND FIXED BED HYDROGENATION, WHICH CAN SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF HIGH VISCOSITY, HIGH DENSITY AND POOR STABILITY OF LOW-GRADE HEAVY PETROLEUM PRODUCTS OF THE PREVIOUS ART.
