PIPE CONNECTOR WITH ANNULAR COMMUNICATION

Description

A compression-type pipe connector for joining a pipe segment to another node in a pipeline or another pipe segment. The connector has compression pipe connector segments that are interlocked and separable to form a watertight seal between them. The pipe connector is configured to form an external orifice through which fluids transported, disposed of, or stored within a ring formed inside a multi-layered flexible pipe can flow, while simultaneously providing a central orifice through which hydrocarbons transported through the internal diameter can flow. The pipe connector segments are connected together by horizontal and vertical compression bolts to create a watertight seal between the connector segments.
