Abstract

This invention reveals a method and system, used as an example, for producing cement in a vertical roller mill (VRM) using humidity sensor indicators. This allows for the adjustment of operational variables such as feed material, water, grinding aids, airflow, temperature, and combinations thereof. The methods used as examples allow manufacturers to predict and improve the properties of the VRM, such as strength and curing time, by monitoring and managing the humidity of the air within the VRM and / or its airflow system.
