Abstract

The method involves: The terminal device generating information about the antenna's transmit capability, where the antenna transmit capability information is used to indicate whether the maximum transmit power value of each transmitting antenna port of the terminal device reaches a preset power value, or the antenna transmit capability information is used to indicate the maximum transmit power value of each transmitting antenna port of the terminal device. The terminal device then sends information about the antenna's transmit capability to the network device, so that when scheduling transmission via the I-I link, the network device can determine whether the maximum transmit power value of each transmitting antenna port of the terminal device reaches the pre-set transmit power value.
