Abstract

The invention relates to a method for transmitting PPDUs and related devices. The method comprises: a step for generating a PPDU, wherein the PPDU consists of an EHT-LTF, the EHT-LTF being obtained based on matrix p and a predefined EHT-LTF sequence, matrix p being an nxn orthogonal matrix, n greater than 8, and the first row of matrix p consists of at least one element with a value of 1 and at least one element with a value of -1; and a step for transmitting the PPDU. According to the technical solutions of the invention, the requirements for performing channel estimation for a channel with more than eight spatial streams can be met, enabling data transmission on more than eight streams and improving data transmission efficiency. The solutions of the invention can be applied to wireless local area networks supporting the next-generation IEEE 802.11 WI-FI EHT protocol, for example, 802.11 protocols such as 802.1Ibe.
