Methods for facilitating advanced offline payments and computer systems

Abstract

The implementation options described here propose a client system to facilitate enhanced offline payment. During operation, the system obtains location information, which is the location of the service, from the billing system. This system then generates an offline code that allows access to the service and corresponds to the location code. The offline code can be read by the billing system, and both the client system and the billing system can be offline. Then, this system encodes the historical data associated with the service in the offline code field and sends a message including the offline code to the billing system.
