Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing single-layer waterstops, which includes an extrusion step of a molten prepared binder through an extrusion die to produce an extruded bar, in which the polymer and 25–65% by weight of at least one solid granular filler are used. The invention also relates to the use of single-layer extruded bars as waterstops, a method for sealing internal or external joints between two concrete sections, and a sealing structure.
