Abstract

The invention relates to a user device, a network component, a method of operating them, and a computer-readable invariant means. By one scheme, a wireless node (e.g., UIi or BS) receives from a network component (e.g., BS or core network component) a request to estimate the location of a UE at a specified time. The wireless node performs localization measurements at multiple points in time and determines (for example, through interpolation or extrapolation) an estimated liver localization at a specified time point based on the localization measurements. The wireless node transmits, to the network component, a report including the determined localization estimate.
