Abstract

The term "light shield" generally refers to wireless communication, specifically referring to the invariant devices, machines, methods, and means by which wireless communication is read by computer. According to one set of aspects, the user device can measure the beam, according to the measurement configuration, to determine the beam channel condition value, modify the channel condition based at least in part on at least one of one or more beam characteristics, the obtained beam steering gain value, or the estimated beam steering gain value, and transmit, to the base station, a measurement report indicating the modified channel condition value. Several other aspects have also been proposed.
