The invention describes a method for automatically selecting and transmitting messages, including obtaining message information on the destination message, obtaining receiver information including at least information about the message receiver and information on the messaging device, obtaining information on one or more receiveable channels based on message and receiver information, selecting at least one of one or more receiveable channels, and transmitting the message through the selected channel.
