Method for sewing the outer edge of a hat

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for hemming the outer brim of a hat, comprising the following steps: preparing a length of hemming tape of suitable width according to the outer circumference of the hat brim; sewing the two free ends of this hemming tape to form a hemming loop; and sewing the hemming loop to the outer brim of the hat using a hemming jig. This edge guide consists of: a base (1) connected to the guide trough (2), the inner surfaces of the guide array are bent to guide the two edges along the length of the gradually curving edge wire and close to the outer rim edge of the cap, the guide trough (2) has a positioning groove (23) which is an open groove running along the length of the guide trough.
