Abstract

The invention proposes a two-sided footrest vehicle capable of a compact body while allowing a permanent magnet generator, mounted on the crankshaft without any reduction gears, to provide increased torque. The two-sided footrest vehicle comprises wheels, a motor, an electric drive system of 1 2V, a permanent magnet generator, a power storage mechanism, and a converter. When a permanent magnet generator is fitted to the first end of the crankshaft without any generator reducers, the charging converter stores the power by supplying a system voltage of 15V or more and less than 19V to the power storage mechanism, while operating the 12V system's electrically actuated accessory by supplying a system voltage of 18V to the 12V system's electrically actuated accessory.
