Ventilation systems and methods for creating ventilation systems

Abstract

The invention relates to a ventilation system for which ambient air enters a liquid container while preventing leakage from the container, such that the air inlet of the liquid container does not require a hole at the bottom of the container for ventilation. More precisely, ambient air enters the container between the supplementary connecting parts of the container body and the sealing element, and through the air duct in the ventilation system, which includes a vent or opening created in the perimeter edge of the sealing element, a vent slot created on the bottom surface of the sealing element, and a hole in the sealing element designed for selective communication with the inside of the container body. The invention describes a one-way valve in the sealing element that prevents liquid from escaping the container and allows air to selectively pass through the opening into the interior of the container. The invention also describes a method for creating a ventilation system.
