Abstract

The invention proposes a method for displaying indexes, wearable devices, computer-readable storage media, and addresses the field of end-user technology, to enable the use of index identifiers for quick searching of target content, thereby improving indexing efficiency. Furthermore, the size of the area used to display the index identifier can be adjusted to ensure adequate display area. The method includes the following steps: displaying the index interface, comprising a first and a second area. The first area is located at the edge of the index interface and surrounds the second area. The first area is used to display the index identifier, and the second area is used to display the content corresponding to the selected index identifier. The number of index identifiers displayed in the first area can adjust to changes in user interaction, and the size of the first area matches the number of index identifiers displayed. When the number of index identifiers displayed in the first area changes from the second to the smaller first number, the selected index identifier is displayed at the beginning or end of the first area when the index identifier including the second number is displayed.
