Abstract

The invention relates to an electronic device and a method of outputting to a display of such electronic device, which includes: a housing; a first camera with a minimum viewing angle; a second camera with a smaller viewing angle than the first; a display unit with a touch screen; and a processor. The processor is configured to: based on the nearly identical viewing angles of the first and second cameras, activate the first camera; display the first image captured by the first camera on the display unit; acquire the second image by cropping the first image according to the second viewing angle, in response to the first input event; and display the second image on the display unit. Activate the second camera in response to the second input event; and display the third image captured by the second camera on the display unit.
