Methods for preparing hidden catalyst and solid coatings containing this hidden catalyst

Abstract

The latent base catalyst and related preparations and methods for the Michael addition reaction catalyzed by a latent base are described in this document. The latent base is described as a substituted carbamate salt. The preparations described in this document originate from the Michael addition reaction and create coatings, including undercoat and direct coatings on the metal, with optimal strength and curing reaction, as well as exhibiting optimal adhesion, corrosion resistance and weather resistance when coated on substrates and curing.
