Abstract

This invention describes a method and apparatus used to obtain discontinuous reception (DRX) to establish a connection between a network and user equipment (UE) based on device-to-device (D2D) communication in a wireless communication system. The method for DRXing of the first UE in a wireless communication system, as exemplified by this invention, may include the following steps: Received by the first UE, the HARQ (hybrid automatic repeat request, HARQ) information relates to the data transmitted from the first UE; transmitted by the first UE, the HARQ information is NACK. to the base station in the uplink based on TIARQ feedback from the second UE; during the operation of the first timer which starts after the first UE transmits the HARQ NACKl· signal; and monitor the downlink control channel which includes resource allocation information about the transmission of internal data during the operation of the second timer which starts after the first timer expires.
