Abstract

The invention relates to a method for decoding images, a method for encoding images, a computer-readable storage medium, and a method for transmitting image information. The method by which the image decoding device, according to the invention, decodes the image by taking the following steps: collecting a flag for the availability of dependent quantization to determine whether dependent quantization is available; collecting a flag for the availability of hidden data signature to determine whether hidden data signature is available; and collecting, based on the available dependent quantization flag and the available hidden data signature flag, a transform skip residual coding (TSRC) flag to determine whether TSRC is available.
