Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing golf club heads and club heads. According to the design, the method of creating a golf club head involves arranging adhesive tape between the first and second parts of the club head so that the first part is temporarily bonded to the second part by the adhesive of the tape. This method also involves positioning the first part, the second part, and the adhesive tape, positioned between the first and second parts, in a vacuum bag, and reducing the pressure inside the vacuum bag. The method involves applying pressure to the outside of the vacuum bag so that the vacuum bag collapses onto the first and second parts, compressing the bonding tape between them. The method also includes heating the bonding tape, at least to its melting point, once the pressure inside the vacuum bag is reduced.
