Wireless communication methods and equipment at user and base station devices

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and apparatus for wireless communication at the user and base station level. Specifically, wireless communication techniques and apparatus proposing the misalignment of survey reference signals (SRS) transmissions by frequency on multiple orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (ODDM) symbols, which would allow multiple UEs to transmit SRS using listen-below-talk (LBT) slots for LBT procedures. The techniques also suggest transmitting SRS over multiple OFDM symbols using the same frequency resources, and orthogonal cover codes (OCCs) can be applied to the SRS transmission of each OFDM symbol, which could allow multiple UEs to transmit SRS simultaneously by using a shared LBT slot.
