Abstract

In general, the aspects of the invention relate to wireless communication, specifically to the method and equipment by which the user communicates wirelessly. In some respects, the user equipment (UE) can communicate on the primary carrier using the first antenna port. The UE can communicate on the secondary carrier using the second antenna port. The UE can determine whether a secondary carrier is being transferred from the second antenna port to the first antenna port based on the channel conditions associated with the second antenna port. The LINE can transfer a secondary carrier from the second antenna port to the first antenna port based on determining whether a secondary carrier is being transferred from the second antenna port to the first antenna port. Several other aspects are also mentioned.
