Abstract

The term refers to methods, machines, and processing-readable data storage media used to detect objects being weighed and provide object detection information. Techniques proposed for use with wireless devices include methods, machines, and processing-readable data storage media for contact tracking, and more specifically, for detecting obstacles between devices to enhance contact tracking applications. Examples of methods for detecting obstructions between a first and a second device include: a determination step, by the first device, of the first range measurement relative to the second device using the first positioning technique; a determination step, by the first test device, of the second range measurement relative to the second device using a positioning technique different from the first test technique; and detect obstructions between the first and second test devices based on measurements of the first and second test ranges.
