Abstract

The invention relates to a hard hat mounting system described with front, rear, and side notches for supporting various accessories. The notches of the hard hat receive the slots of the bracket which fit snugly around the flanges. The auxiliary flanges receive the clamps inside the ports. The user customizes the hard hat for a specific task with preferred accessories used to complete the job. For example, lights, visors, reflectors, tool holders, and eyeglass holders are interchangeably and detachably attached to notches and / or auxiliary ridges on the hard helmet. In this way, the hard helmet is customized and / or modified to accommodate the wide range of accessories that are detachably and securely attached to notches and / or auxiliary ridges without modifications that would damage the hard helmet. The mounting brackets and clamps connect to various ports to secure and / or lock different accessories in place during operation, preventing accidental collisions and vibrations of loose accessories.
